Cancun, Mexico Indian Wedding by Michael J. Scott Productions

We can't get enough of sunny destination weddings these days, especially with chilly temps hitting various parts of the country! This ethereal gem of a film by the always innovative Michael J. Scott Productions features Suman and Jagdeep's marriage celebrations in Cancun, Mexico. From the initial moments of the video, we were transported to a tropical paradise, with magnificent shots of crashing blue waves and sunsets, and Michael J. Scott Productions' amazing aerial cinematography capturing all the excitement! The festivities took place at the gorgeous Now Jade Riviera Cancun and kicked off to a majestic seaside mehndi and haldi. We are huge fans of pre-wedding mixers since guests can let loose and get to know other attendees, making the atmosphere at the ceremony and reception events so much more relaxed and enjoyable! The next morning began with the baraat ceremony, which was held beach side with dapper Jagdeep leading the charge to the oceanfront mandap draped in pristine white drapings. The ceremony couldn't have been more beautiful, with Maharani Suman looking radiant in angelic makeup by Roop Style and a petal pink lehenga that shimmered beautifully against the ocean backdrop. The couple's technicolor reception was one for the books, featuring nonstop dancing, laughter, and hugs. Check out all the incredible action in the video below!

So pretty. We're off to dream about tropical sunsets and sandy beaches!

Cancun, Mexico Indian Wedding by Michael J. Scott Productions

We’re delighted by so many details from the fab, destination Indian wedding of Negysa and Shawn. From the luxurious Moon Palace Resort venue in Cancun, Mexico to the modern, breezy aesthetic the couple chose for their celebrations, we are dreaming of sunshine and surf after viewing this superb film by Michael J. Scott Productions. The couple opted for an outdoor ceremony, and the natural light, sparkling waves, and swaying palm trees, combined with Negysa and Shawn’s glow, made for some seriously stunning photographs by JD Photo Studios. Maharani Negysa was a knockout in bombshell makeup by Jayna Marie Makeup and a glamorous updo adorned by white blooms. We’re especially drooling over her petal pink designer wedding gown from Well Groomed Inc. Accessorized with mesmerizing pearl and diamond kundan jewelry, Negysa’s look was an incredible display of her dazzling sartorial sensibilities. Shawns’s fashion choices were also on point, and he suited up in a champagne sherwani and a turban with pearl details that matched his stunning Maharani. This gorgeous couple is truly a match made in heaven! Their outdoor mandap overlooked the water and was gracefully draped in white fabric and florals, creating a serene effect. Planning and design was done by the excellent Blue Petal Destination Weddings, and the results were marvelous! With crashing waves in the background and billowing fabric blowing serenely in the breeze, we couldn’t imagine a more peaceful place to be pronounced husband and wife. Make sure to watch this masterpiece of a wedding film by Michael J. Scott Productions. We guarantee you’ll be blown away by the sheer amount of bridal inspiration in every beautiful frame.

We're off to hit replay. That was so stunning!

Palm Beach, FL South Asian Wedding by Fandango Studios

Morning lovelies! We hope you’re in the mood to put on your dancing shoes, because this fun filled South Asian wedding film by Ram Hernandez from Fandango Studios is filled with the most action packed Bollywood moves to the tunes of DJ Pavan. Maharani Mausam and her hubby Samir are such an excellent dancers, and their film was such a vibrant joy to watch! The duo held their bash at The Breakers and Mausam filled us in on their thought process while choosing their wedding locale. She told us, “Picking the venue for our wedding was a no-brainer! We had vacationed at The Breakers with my family and immediately knew that we would want to get married there. It is the most beautiful location.” With temperatures dipping throughout the country, we’re in heaven while basking in the footage of this tropical venue. With stunning decor, fashion, and beauty looks by Jennifer Cruz Beauty Group, there was a plethora of gorgeousness in this fab clip. Mausam told us, The most enjoyable part of the planning process was planning with our families. We have lived away from home for almost a decade now - so we miss our families very much. I think the best part about planning our wedding was that we were constantly with our families!” Aw! We challenge you not to tap your toes while watching this joyful clip. And scroll below for our behind the scenes interview with Mausam.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?

Samir and I went to school together - I was promoting our South Asian school group in our plaza when I saw him with some friends. Samir and I had a lot of mutual friends so we knew each other informally for a while. When I saw him on campus, I invited him out with my group of friends. As he went to save my phone number in his phone, I noticed he was looking at my ID badge. I immediately covered it up with my hand. I asked him if he remembered my name and he casually said yes but that he didn't remember how to spell it... I caught him in his lie and told him to text me when he remembered my name. It wasn't long before I got a text from him saying "Hi Mausam..."

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!

After school in Philly, the two of us moved to DC for our residencies. After starting residency, Samir mentioned that his program was having a welcome party on a boat in the Potomac River. While on our way to the "Welcome Party" we got stopped by the cops because I had forgotten to put the new registration sticker on my car. After being surrounded by 4 cops for about 45 minutes we finally were on our way to the river. We got to the location and Samir got down on one knee - he showed me both our past and our present - the Jefferson Memorial (we went to school at Jefferson in Philly) and the Washington Monument and proposed. I obviously said yes! After that he mimicked an episode from one of our favorite shows - How I Met Your Mother - and we went on a "2 minute Date" with all of our friends and family showing up at a different portion of the date! We finished the night off with an amazing party at a restaurant!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

Picking the venue for our wedding was a no-brainer! We had vacationed at The Breakers with my family and immediately knew that we would want to get married there! It is the most beautiful location! After settling on a date, we started looking for vendors. It was quite difficult with our schedules to go back and forth to Florida to meet our vendors, so we actually met our Photographer, Videographer, Hair and Makeup Artists, and even Wedding Coordinator the day before our wedding events began! As for our outfits - I had gone to India with my family to pick those out!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?

My bridal lengha was actually the very first outfit I tried on! My family reached India ahead of time and had kept in mind all of the stores that they felt would we worth looking at again. As soon as I landed, we had lunch and went directly to one of the stores they had previously scoped out. The very first outfit I tried on ended up being the outfit I got married in! It was actually perfect - my entire family was there and it was the one outfit that every single person agreed on! I will say that I had set my mind on picking a non-traditional color for my bridal lengha, but somehow after I tried on that red and pink outfit - I couldn't stay away!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?

The most enjoyable part of the planning process was planning with our families. We have lived away from home for almost a decade now - so we miss our families very much! I think the best part about planning our wedding was that we were constantly with our families! Whether it was shopping or food tasting or even dance practice - being surrounded by our loved ones was our favorite part!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?

I have danced my entire life and for that reason I knew my Sangeet was going to be very important to me. I planned a dance that started off with my family and transitioned into the entire bridal party. At the very end, Samir joined the dance and we finished with him lifting me up and the entire bridal party surrounding us. This is one moment that constantly replays in my mind! It was just perfect! This dance included every single person that I love! From my family to my friends to my new husband!

Excuse us while we hit replay! So much prettiness.

New Rochelle, NY Fusion Wedding by KSD Wedding

Welcome back, Maharanis! We are truly excited to share the marvelous wedding video by KSD Weddings. You probably already read about Mathew and Meryl-Lyn's ceremony at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and reception at Greentree Country Club located on a white sand beach in New York. Today its finally time for live visuals from their big day! Our groom, Mathew, seems confident, thoughtful, and content dressing up for his maharani, family, and friends. In the talk-over he states that he fell in love with Meryl-Lyn the day they met 5 years ago and it's obvious he speaks the truth in the way he looks at her. We also perceive the loving shout-outs from his groomsmen dressed in grey as true support and love towards the newly wed. The bride's big smile keeps showing throughout the video and it’s no secret that she is truly happy about the glamourous turnout of their day. We also want to mention once again how much we adore her red and shimmery gold two-piece dress that she is wearing at the reception! The venue's floor, walls, and ceilings are made of some amazing kind of high-gloss material, which we believe provides an elegant platform for any celebration. Janet King took excellent care of filling the venue with beautiful details and stunning floral and DJ USA / DJ Rohit’s set the danceable mood. We really loved this one!
