Cancun, MX Indian Wedding by Eleve Studio

Sweet Mexico! What a wonderful place that is. It always takes my breath away when couples decide to marry by the warmth of the ocean. There is something about it that is truly mesmerizing. And do you know who was also mesmerizing? You guessed correctly! Our enchanting Maharani Sara of course and her elegant prince, Raja Ifte. The couple decided to drop anchor at the beautiful Playa del Carmen in Cancun and that says it all. Today's featured highlight reel is of magical celebration, comes to us thanks to Eleve Studio, who did an amazing cinematic experience for you to witness and enjoy. All their events were held at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach, right by the steamy sands. The talented bride planned and designed the entire event through Red Carpet Affairs, who as you may know and recall, have planned multiple weddings and they always end up being amazing. Maharani Sara was looking stunning thanks to Amore by Adriana, who helped with her hair and makeup look. Seriously, our bride had it all worked out. Of course, we can't forget about the person who swept away Maharani Sara's feet of the ground. Raja Ifte was looking neat wearing different sherwanis throughout the celebrations and ending with an otherworldy tux that had all the guys jealous. Amazing celebration indeed. Curious to know how a true Maharani celebrates her nuptials? Well here you have it, today's featured film, all the way from beautiful Mexico. Enjoy!

See you soon for another Indian Wedding!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
My proposal was the best. I got a message from my husband suggesting I go check out a link on Facebook. When I got to the Facebook page he had created this scavenger hunt game using Facebook messenger. I traveled around Manhattan gathering clues from our first date spot, our favorite NYC restaurant, the helipad where we took our first helicopter ride and our favorite wine shop. That led me back to groom surprising me in my apartment. He whisked me away to a vineyard in North Fork ( Macari Vineyards) and proposed to me in the middle of a vineyard with life's essentials,  bread, wine, and cheese.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I was a true Instagram bride. I found most of my vendors through Instagram posts and Maharani Weddings! The theme of the wedding was world travel. We were a long distance couple for years and made it a point to meet somewhere in the world every month. We had different themed food offerings, decor, table names and sweets from all over the world.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Having to visit the beautiful Eau Palm Beach and stay there several times before the wedding to plan!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Everyone loved that after the wedding on Saturday, instead of having our grand reception immediately after, we had a casual international beach party on the boardwalk at the Eau Palm. It was an event that everyone could relax at, there were no cameras around and everyone could walk around in casual beach clothes. The following day everyone hung out at the pool and then around 3 pm started getting ready for our grand finale reception.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
I would highly recommend not taking your honeymoon right after the wedding. Having a little time in between to truly decompress and just sitting in a hotel and ordering room service is ideal! Then after a few months go on an awesome adventure somewhere around the world.

I wish you the best in this year to come, Maharanis! See you again tomorrow for more wedding inspiration!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
My husband and I meet while attending West Virginia University through mutual friends initially we hated each other and over time because friends and then best friends at that point we knew maybe the saying "opposites Attract" couldn't be more true ! Our friendship turned into true love . Life took us on a roller coaster ride we saw life's ups and downs turns and flips over 6 years and we both knew we wouldn't want to be on this rollar coaster called life with anyone else besides each other !

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We were living in beautiful Denver Colorado. Arslan secretly bought the ring, and researched places to propose. He ended up choosing Seven Falls in Colorado Springs. He forced me to climb up (seemed like) 200 steps, covered with snow, hovering over the waterfall. Once at the top, we went back down and standing to look off to the fall called "Bridal Falls" he got down on one knee and proposed. Our friends filmed it and people all around the Falls whistled and clapped, it was truly amazing!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Planning the wedding was a process I had to figure out on my own to be honest . I planned my wedding every detail from the smallest detail like the shoes the brides maids and grooms men were going to wear to the largest detail as the resort it will take place at ! I started off my narrowing down what my husband and I liked and what we both wanted in our wedding this ended up being the start of our save the dates we wanted a Big Fat South Asian Wedding ! Each event had its own twist to it from the welcome party being calm and green to the Sangeet bein full of color and life ! We loved the concept of jodah and Akbar and through our wedding we used piece of that story as an insperation .

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
My bridal lengha was honestly a crazy idea that my designer suruchi Parekh brought to life . I love elephants and the concept of a traditional Indoan motifs with a rich matron colors . She brought my vision to life in my wedding dress ! She also designed all my other outfits for all the events , my husbands and rest of my family's !

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was seeing my fiance and my family coming together to work as a team to make me the happiest bride ever.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guest particularly enjoyed the laid back and relaxing environment as well as the fun, vibrant and upbeat themes of the wedding events.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
A really special moment that replays in my mind is my husbands expressions when we saw all the vents come to gather the decor , lighting , music , food and everything else ! He couldn't believe it ! I will never forget his words he said " A year an a half of seeing you go crazy I see it and it was worth ever second of dealing with your craziness "!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Everythibg works out at the end ! Love your wedding day like your last day because these memories will be the most beautiful memories you will have !

Let me know if you love as much as I did this wedding briliant shores!
