Sweeties, we have extraordinary wedding footage that celebrates the union of Palak & Kevin in Montego Bay, Jamaica! The artistic wedding cinematographer, Unique Visions Studio, reveals through his lens the luxurious wedding at the exceptional Grand Palladium Jamaica! This lovely couple couldn't choose a better videographer since they always deliver a fresh, creative, and emotionally packed film. Rochelle Cheever took the lead and designed this over-the-top affair that reflected the newlyweds' exquisite taste through the alluring decor, their outfits, and everything in between! Thanks to Lamey Rosebloom's planning, this fabulous event went beyond perfection.  I love Maharani Palak's style, but her makeup and hair look created by Flawless Beauty By Pauline were especially beautiful. How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
My husband and I are both in the medical profession. He is a cancer surgeon, and I am a Physician Assistant. We met on a medical mission in Kingston, Jamaica, in August 2013 when we traveled to underserved areas to provide free medical care.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
The Proposal was 100% Kevin style. It was simple and intimate. Just the two of Gizmo and us. On January 17, 2021, we returned from spending the day with Kevin's family in the Bronx. Little after 6 pm, I was getting ready to sit on the couch and have my yogurt when Kevin got down on one knee and pulled out the gorgeous ring, and asked me to marry him. There were no bells and whistles, but it was everything.
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other essential details.
I hired a planner to help me. I was having a destination wedding in Jamaica so my planner was familiar with the destination and that was helpful. I found most of my vendors on Instagram, to be honest, and just reviewed their work and went with my gut feeling. I flew out my videographer, photographer, and makeup artist from the US.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I wanted a white lengha to incorporate my husband's culture as well. I found a beautiful Seema Gujral lengha I fell in love with.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part would be choosing every little detail and customizing everything to my own taste and liking.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our venue, The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa in Jamaica, was beautiful and I think the guests loved spending so many days together enjoying each other's company, partying, drinking, dancing, and celebrating our love together for 4+ days. We incorporated my husband's Jamaican roots throughout the events.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
As soon as I entered the Mandap, all of a sudden, it rained so hard. At first, I was panicking, but I looked out to my guests and saw everyone still there, embracing the rain and watching us get married regardless of having wet clothes and makeup and hair dripping down. That was truly lovely.
For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
I have to say the decor was effortlessly beautiful, simple, and chic. We had several DIY details such as our welcome bags, reserved seating signs, phoolon ki chadar (handmade by my best friend's sister), custom shot glasses for guests to take before taking their seat for the reception, our guestbook was a Bob Marley coffee table book, little snack bags packed with goodies flown all the way from India, custom fans for the ceremony, and each reception table was labeled as one of our favorite travel destinations.
Our flowers were imported. While Jamaica has tropical flowers, I wanted something more muted and romantic, using more pastels.
Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Start as early as possible
Stay organized.
Have a few point people you can rely on and assign duties; you cannot do it all.
Don't forget to enjoy each and every moment as it all passes by so fast.
On the day of the event/events, don't get hung up on things that did not go as planned; IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN.
Have a reasonable budget. Cannot have a champagne taste and a beer budget.

Maharanis! A few times, we can see a destination and fusion wedding on Video! So, Yes! We are swooning over this charming highlight film captured by the fantastic crew of Dean Sanderson Photography. Sunjeet and Paolo's union was a series of elevated, seaside-chic fusion functions that honored the couple's cultures. They started their wedding gateway by greeting their loved ones at the perfect refuge, the magnificent Petit Lafitte! This tranquil seaside spot also offered a private beach environment for their western ceremony. For this event, Maharani Sunjeet looked elegant and whimsical in a white mermaid dress, perfect for a ceremony in the sand. While Hello Beauty Mx finished off her bridal beach look with natural makeup and soft hair waves. Who says you have to wear a tie on your big day? Paolo looked dashing for his first vows, wearing an elegant pastel blue suit and a white shirt. I also love how he styled his groomsmen, too! After saying I do, the night ocean views and stars served as the backdrop for a beautiful reception. This union's overall tropical chic vibe was accented with rustic wood tables decorated with palm-leave runners by Kibalam Floreria. DJ Riz Entertainment made a memorable party, providing the best music for the reception and Baraat procession. Mexican-based Mehndi artist Ligia decorated Sunjeeet's hands and feet, and Masaba Couture & Pernia's- Pop-Up shop provided the stunning red lehenga choli set she wore for her Indian affair. She made a super stylish appearance for this occasion! To wrap up the celebrations, family and friends gathered at the exclusive Petit Lafitte's shore and celebrated one last time with a great party! After the wedding ceremonies, there was time to celebrate the newlyweds with a vibrant reception party enlivened by DJ AJ (Absolute Weddings), who owned the stage playing upbeat melodies that put everyone on their feet. In between all the dancing, and the delicious food prepared by Patravali Indian Cuisine, the night got to an end. Hello there, my lovely Maharanis! Wednesday is a beautiful day to fall in love. So let's fall for Somna & Aditya's Jodhpur Destination Wedding! After six years of a beautiful relationship, our lovebirds decided to join their lives forever at Umaid Bhawan Palace. A luxurious place where fairy tales come true! And to make sure every part of this lovely wedding went off perfectly, Rudra Events planned and designed an exclusive setting. Beauty, flowers, and emotions were present in every scene. And I love every single moment! Twogether Studios, the incredible team which showed their ability to record the most fabulous moments of the wedding, made us fall in love with the blockbuster film below. Somna and Aditya are a captivating couple, and they both represent what true love looks like. Our lovebirds decided to have Mehndi and Sangeet events; both celebrations took place in the warm December sun. It was a beautiful day to celebrate their unbreakable love! The engagement celebration took place during the night. Somna and Aditya made a grand entry with cold pyros and exchanged rings in front of their guests. They looked like a real Queen and King! Somna looked charming in a Sabyasachi lehenga, and Pavitra Rastogi complemented our Maharani's dreamy look with fabulous hair and makeup designs. Hello ladies! There is so much inspiration ready to be unveiled, so I am really happy you could join us to discover together all the wonderful details of today's reel. Manisha and Fayad is the sweet duo that traveled to the tropical shores of the Riviera Maya in Mexico to tie the knot in a destination wedding you need to see to believe. Indian Destination Weddings made all the travel arrangements and also provided the couple and everyone involved with a VIP experience during their special days. Besides having the perfect travel concierge, the lucky lovebirds found Generations Riviera Maya. This luxury spot in the heart of this tropical paradise held their Sangeet night, the exchange of vows, and the joyful reception. James & Weddings beautifully documented the best moments of their getaway in a truly creative film. We are so lucky we are about to enjoy all sweetness and candidness of every scene. So be prepared! I also fell in love with the enchanting outdoor ceremony. A natural backdrop of palm trees surrounded the traditional union, while a flowy fabric mandap harbored the intricate rites. Not to mention the stunning blush pink and white blooms that Weddings by Lomas used to deck the ceremony space. The whole place was pristine and adorable. Maharani Manisha, made a spectacular entrance in a grand Doli wearing an exquisite red lehenga she later swapped for a light pink trousseau. She donned with absolute flair both ensembles and the gorgeous henna designs Loto Mehndhi created for her. After the I Do's Desi Djs announced the newlyweds as husband and wife for the first time and performed an extensive playlist of energetic beats that made all guests danced the night away. Weddings by Lomas provided the perfect wedding planning services ensuring everything Manisha and Fayad dreamed for this moment was on point.
