If not, then grab a bottle of champagne, call your girlfriends and get comfortable because Steffi & Zeel's filmy is definitely a Bollywood like wedding experience for the books, I tell you that! The incredibly mystic India is our destination of the day, and what can be more exotic than that? The gala was perfectly planned by Event Tadka and was everything you want out of a royal couple. And as we will see in today's cinematic experience thanks to Destination Photographers, the word "grand" is not grand enough to describe it. And wait until you take a look at their fashion choices! Seriously, things can't get more amazing than this. So, dolls, movie time is here! Hit play below for details!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met at my store, we had a few common friends but we never spoke/met personally. That was the first time we spoke, exchanged numbers and from that day we had that instant comfort and connection. We did not date each other, as we both were looking for a life partner during that time, so we decided to spend some time together and further decide. Once we were sure about our decision, we told our parents about and they agreed to meet. They met and said YES!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
It was a mutual decision.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.

San Jose, CA South Indian Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

Welcome back, Maharanis! I am so excited about today's feature film because I'm sure you are going to be absolutely smitten by it, I tell you that! Remember Mona & Shashank's wedding gala? Of course you do, such a gorgeous couple cannot be forgotten that easily here in Maharani Weddings, especially when they are overflowing with style. The San Jose Marriott was the white canvas that hosted this vivid vision and the couple couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate their milestone. This gorgeous Maharani, beautifully dolled up by Rosheen Ahmadi, shone like the true Indian princess she is. The style and fabric of her sarees were indeed a highlight for me. Some summery vibes on this chic bride! The excellence of Lin & Jirsa Photography is once again here for us to enjoy and what a film they have today! So, come, take a look and dance along Desi Jammers Entertainment beats, that for sure, will leave you wanting for more. Let's get to it!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Shashank and I met 10 years ago at UC Irvine, at first I don't think either one of us realized where we would end up. Our relationship was long distance for the majority of the time after graduating from UC Irvine. I knew he was the one very early on in our relationship, but what solidified it was the support and encouragement he gave me while we were long distance. The last year before he proposed to me, I was out of state for the majority of the time on my rotations and Shashank came and helped me move into each place I went to, and came to visit me and made me feel like I had a piece of home with me.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
The proposal day was a day I will never forget! I thought Shashank and I were going out of town to celebrate his birthday. Shashank said he booked us a couple's massage however when we went to the spa the lady said it was only a massage for me and I was so confused, but I thought maybe he just surprised me with a massage, because I had recently finished up all my exams and submitted my information to get my board certification for Optometry. After my massage, I got back to our hotel room to see rose petals directing me to a dress, jewelry, purse, shoes laid out for me on the bed. There were notes throughout the room, one of them mentioned, "be ready by 6:15 pm, your special transportation crew will be here to pick you up". When I got ready I heard a knock on my door and it was my mom and sisters ready to pick me up. It was so meaningful and important for me to them being there with me. They drove me down to Pebble Beach where Shashank was waiting for me. He walked me down near the water and had hired photographers that looked like tourists to capture everything. Before Shashank was even done with his speech to ask me to be his wife I kept saying YES YES YES, I was so ready to be his fiance and eventually his wife!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I think our guests loved our decorations by Raofactor, so many people were shocked when they saw our mandap, it was so neat that everyone danced under it during the reception. At the reception, we had mini donuts made by Swell Little Donuts and so many people loved those as well.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
So ever since Shashank proposed to me, all I was determined to do was to have an entrance video that captured our humor and love for one another. I wanted the video to be Bollywood theme so I created a script and we brought it to life. The video came out better than expected and we had some bloopers. It was so hard for me to keep that entrance video as a secret, but it was totally worth it because all the guests were not expecting that and they were just laughing the entire time. We played the video before we came out of the reception and it was a hit!

Here are the attachments of our entrance videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccxDf6m4oG4&t=11s

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Please enjoy all aspects of your wedding. I feel like with our wedding although we had condensed it down to cut out some events I was still overwhelmed and stressed out until the reception. Then, before I knew it, the whole weekend was over, I am so thankful that our wedding highlight video came out, it's so great that I can relive that weekend, but in retrospect I wish I just let go and enjoyed every aspect from the beginning because the reality is, there is only so much you do, so just sit back and soak in every moment because the wedding will fly by so fast. Pittsburgh, PA Indian Wedding by Studio Nine Photography

For Maharani Puja and her hubby Parth it was all about the glam! To ensure they had their dream come true celebration, this duo brought on the decor masterminds from Weddings InStyle to make theirs an event styled to perfection. Between the enormous golden mandap, white and marigold centerpieces, artistic sweetheart stage, and oodles of navy draping, the Hyatt Regency - Pittsburgh International Airport venue resembled a romantic oasis of breathtaking amor throughout this auspicious weekend. Make sure to take note of the luscious tablescapes featuring twinkling candles, lush florals, golden accessories, and so many more inspiration touches! And of course, the most beautiful part of the celebration was Puja, whose hair, makeup, and outfit draping was beautified masterfully by Gayatri Kalia. The gorg bride chose a magnificent red ceremony lehenga and a midnight blue reception ensemble. Such showstopping looks! After the couple took their breathtaking vows, the reception was a nonstop party of delicious bites, mouthwatering cake, and heartfelt speeches. The night soon descended into the dance party of our dreams as DJ Desi Soundz started their pulsating beats. This wedding is chock full of inspirational details, so take a peek at the film where Studio Nine Photography has captured all the magic. And make sure to scroll below for our fab interview with the Main Maharani herself!

How did you meet your Raja and when did you know he was "the one"?

Parth and I met on Dil Mil. Our journey began in the summer of 2016. We first started messaging each other; talked about the simple things that we most enjoyed and valued. Before we knew it, we were completing each other's sentences. Those everyday texts and phone conversations led to building a strong bond of friendship, which quickly became our love story. As we conversed, we discovered more similarities and mutual connections. Our traditional roots kept us grounded as we realized there was a deeper bond between us.

Do you have a super romantic proposal story or engagement memory?

On September 30, 2016, which marked 365 days before our wedding, and also just about 3 months after our first date, we took a trip to Atlanta to celebrate one my best friend's milestones. Little did I know, this trip would mark the beginning of a new chapter in my life, as well.  The weather could not have been more perfect for being the first day of October with 80 degree temperature and clear blue sky. Parth took me to Piedmont Park, where we walked quite a bit. Oh, and not to mention we had already walked 8 miles earlier in the day, in attempting to explore as much of Atlanta as we could. He told me he wanted to take me to this particular spot in the park where the entire skyline of Atlanta was visible.  When we finally reached this "particular spot" Parth hugged me really tight and said " So Puja the reason why we have been walking around all day, the reason why I wanted to bring you to this spectacular spot, the reason why this is all happening, is because I wanted to ask you the most important question of my life". He then got down on one knee, and asked me " Puja Shroff will you marry me?". Without any doubt, I said "Yes." The entire moment felt like a dream that had come true.

Tell us about your wedding style. When you sat down to really figure out how your dream wedding would look, did you start with one central color, a palette of colors, or a theme that served as your inspiration?

As Indian weddings  are multiple day events,  we wanted a different theme for each event but something that blended nicely together. Overall, we wanted everything to be quite traditional, yet with a touch of elegance. Our wedding decorator, Sima Patel from Weddings In Style guided us and made our dream wedding into a reality.

For our Sangeet/Mehndi night, we chose to go with jewel tones similar to the colors of a peacock feather. Since it was a fall wedding, we chose  a gold oval mandap crowned with fresh flowers of burgundy, peach, red, and ivory colored; and with red rose petals and candles on the edge of a raised runway. For the reception, we chose royal and navy blue embellished with some gold tones.

What did you enjoy most about the process of planning your dream Indian wedding?

I lived in Pittsburgh, PA  and Parth lived in Ann Arbor, MI, which made it challenging at first to coordinate meetings with vendors. Moreover,  Parth and I had only known each other a few short months before we were engaged, and the wedding planning provided us with many opportunities to get to know each other better and work as a team. This not only strengthened our relationship, but also brought our families closer together.

How did you choose your lengha or lenghas? Did you work with a certain designer? Did you spend hours on the internet first?

My mother and I traveled to India for wedding shopping for my family and groom, so we would have matching outfits for all the events.

Surprisingly, I spent very little time researching my dream lengha on the Internet. Though, I had fallen in love with Shyamal & Bhumika's collection on Instagram. Fortunately, my lengha was very similar to their style, in regards to the handwork, embroidery, beading, and overall elegance.

Looking back, was there a really special moment that you remember from your wedding that stands out as the most magical?

The entire wedding weekend had felt magical and divine, not only to our families but also to all of our guests. Though, the one moment that stands out the most was our "First Look". We decided to have our First Look before the wedding and pictures taken without all the paparazzi! Haha! As I was walking up to my groom, it brought flashbacks of our first date - the butterflies in my tummy, the excitement of seeing him, the anticipation of what his reaction will be!  I stood behind him and waited for the photographer to further instruct me.  I tapped his shoulder and he turned around with the biggest smile on his face. In that moment, I fell in love with him all over again and felt like the most blessed bride.

Did you and your Raja have a special song that you danced to as your first dance? How did you choose it?

Our first dance was to Ed Sheeran's song, "Thinking Out Loud." We both heard it together for the first time and fell in love with the lyrics. We felt that it resonated with our own love story.  Besides, we had chosen a Bollywood song to dance to for our engagement party, and wanted to do something different for the reception. Thus, we decided to take professional ballroom dance classes at Arthur Murray Dance Studio and have our first dance professionally choreographed. We figured it was also one less thing to worry about, and the dance classes turned into the perfect date nights.

How about hair and makeup? Did you already have a style in mind or did you work with a specialist to find your perfect look?

I came across Gayatri Kalia on Maharani Weddings during my search for a makeup and hair artist for my engagement party. We connected very well and I loved her work and decided to hire her for my wedding, as well. My biggest concern was my thin, fragile hair.  Literally, she worked magic on me. Everyone complimented my hair and makeup. Despite having gotten ready at 5AM, my makeup and hair remained flawless. It is very obvious that she is extremely talented and passionate about her work.

Did family or friends help out with certain special details that really added to the event?

Yes, our families were our support system throughout the entire wedding planning process. It was them that added to the celebrations and helped execute our planning.  Moreover,  our friends, extended families along with our immediate families participated in dance performances, which made our events complete and lively!  Parth and I wouldn't be living this dream reality if it weren't for our families' continuous love, support, and blessings.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)

Food is an integral part of any wedding and especially an Indian wedding. We had food catered by Rasoi, which included a varieties of cuisines for all the different events. We had a separate dessert room with ice cream bar, Indian sweets, vegan desserts and cake. Additionally, music is another vital element of a wedding. Dj Nick from DJ Desi Soundz offered excellent guidance in the months leading up to the big day, in regards to the layout of the agenda and music.  Our photographers and cinematographers, Studio Nine, captured priceless memories for us. Lastly, the event coordinator and staff at our venue, Hyatt Regency at the Pittsburgh International Airport were extremely  accommodating to us and our guests. The expertise, hard work, and passion of our vendors made our dream wedding a reality, which still feels like a dream when we think back to our magical, divine weekend.

See all you Maharanis tomorrow with another fab film!

Woodland Park, NJ Gujarati Wedding by PhotosMadeEz

The dynamic duo of Snehali and Anish got married in sophisticated Gujarati style. Vivacious Snehali preferred simplicity instead of incorporating tons of glitter and bling into her wedding. However, just because she craved a more subdued aesthetic doesn’t mean the celebrations weren’t filled to the brim with sparkle! Snehali and Anish’s cinematic love story was captured beautifully by PhotosMadeEz. The quintessential connection between this lovely couple is so inspiring. We heard it in the pureness of their family and friends' voices as they gushed about the lovebirds through this highlight. Snehal’s choice in bridal wear included vibrant colors such as a ruby ceremony lehenga and cerulean reception gown. She was sensationally adorned in beautiful jewels and henna, and we approve of every gorg look! After all, when else do you get to flaunt your inner Bollywood diva? The bride’s beauty squad was spearheaded by BeautybyHP and Artist Makeup Academy who ensured that not a pleat or bobby pin was out of place. The ceremony and reception took place at the Westmount Country Club and was transformed into a chic haven by Wedding Design and MM Celebrations. The celebrations blasted off into a high octane dance party when the thumping of Bollywood music by Medley Entertainment and DJ Gaurav began rocking the venue’s walls. We’re very excited to share this film with you, so revel in the beauty captured by PhotosMadeEz by clicking play below! And read on for our interview with the Main Maharani herself!

How did you meet your Raja and when did you know he was "the one"?

I met Anish on the trip to Canada, Spring Break of my sophomore year at Rutgers. He knew I was the one because he came back home immediately and told our friend Hetal and Ryan, “I found that special person!”

Do you have a super romantic proposal story or engagement memory?

We were engaged in Dominican Republic. We went there to celebrate his dad's 60th birthday. We stayed there for seven days; he did everything I had ever wanted to do on the trip like horseback riding on the beach. He told him his dad hired a photographer for family pictures so he was going down to meet him, i walked in couple minutes later and his nephew was holding a sign that said " Follow the trail of roses" and I knew it then! There he was standing in the sand waiting for me! He proposed, of course I said yes! And said I would like to call my mom. Of course my mom didn't pick up the phone because in minutes he asked me to look up saying "look my parents got a few strangers to bring out the congratulations sign". And when they put the sign down, I was the happiest girl alive (not that I already wasn't) - my parents and brother were there! Along with our best friends! It was a beautiful proposal!

Tell us about your wedding style. When you sat down to really figure out how your dream wedding would look, did you start with one central color, a palette of colors, or a theme that served as your inspiration?

I just knew I wanted simple and classy. I didn't like bling, simplicity was the key!

What did you enjoy most about the process of planning your dream Indian wedding?

I enjoyed shopping in India as I got to spend time with my family in India.

How did you choose your lenghas? Did you work with a certain designer? Did you spend hours on the internet first?

I wanted something very simple and of course the parents were against it and wanted me to wear something heavier. But I knew this lengha was the one when my brother said this is it!

Looking back, was there a really special moment that you remember from your wedding that stands out as the most magical?

Enjoying every bit of the ceremony and reception as we did not stress one bit thanks to our wonderful families, vendors, and of course the coordinators!

Have a wonderful Monday Maharanis!
