How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met in a park while walking. I knew he was the one when I learned how big a foodie he was.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
It was more romantic than I could have ever imagined it to be. He popped the question while we were on a gondola ride in Venetian waters. It was a dream proposal and he pulled it off like a magician!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We planned the wedding from London and with the help of our wedding planner who was on ground in Jaipur. It was one of the most challenging tasks to plan a wedding sitting miles away from the destination and working through different timezones. But it was all worth it at the end.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Yes, I knew I wanted a deep shade for my wedding lehenga. So when I came across the lehenga in Sahil Fashions and tried it on, I instantly knew it had to be the one. The color and design locked with my skin tone extremely well and I loved the overall look and feel so I didn't spend long thinking over it.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
I think decorations were one of my favorite parts of the planning because we knew what kind of colors and decor we wanted for each of our functions. We were exceptionally excited about our Mehendi decor because it was all going to be bright, colorful and fun!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
We received a lot of feedback on the general vibe of our wedding. We had friends and family from 10 different countries so our guests had a great time meeting each other and enjoying our wedding together. The music, food and decor added to the vibe of our wedding making it a very memorable experience for them as well as for us.

Was there a really special moment at your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
There were several beautiful moments during our wedding but the most memorable one was when I was walking towards the mandap with my sisters, I saw Ravin waiting at the mandap for me, but also very emotional. Watching him made my eyes moist as well. It was such a beautiful moment that I wanted to relive it over and over again.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
One of Ravin and my favorite event was sangeet because we thoroughly enjoyed watching our family and friends perform for us. We had prepared a surprise couple performance for our guests as well which was a great hit! The decor was phenomenal as Mohit understood all our requirements and got us exactly what we needed. The theme of our events was carefully selected and we enjoyed adding finer details to our events such as our individual pictures at the entrance of the sangeet hall, elephant statues by the door, bluish purplish lights along with the smoke machines all just added beautifully to our events.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
I would tell all the Brides-to-be to stay relaxed throughout the planning and actual wedding because a relaxed bride is a happy bride. No plans are perfect so there is definitely no point stressing your way through your big day. It will be the most memorable day of your life so remember to smile your way through everything because it's worth it in the end. Definitely worth seeing happy photos!

This was an incredible event. We have more for you, so visit us again!

Everyone enjoyed every detail of the wedding celebration, but what made them sigh and took their breath away was Kosha, our gorgeous Maharani. If you are in the pursuit of inspiration, you are in the right place, as today, your motivation and expectation will increase while you fill your heart with tons of inspiring ideas for your dream wedding event. So don't think twice and click the play icon below! You'll love it.

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Nigam and I met on a December evening celebrating our best friend’s birthday 12 years ago. While timing was always an issue, we managed to consistently meet every December. Finally, when our lives aligned I could see he was more than a handsome and charming man, his actions revealed how kind and generous he truly is. We took the time to become best friends and to love one another, now I can honestly say I married by best friend.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
The proposal was unforgettable! It was my 30th birthday and Nigam had made me believe we are meeting friends for a brunch in Brooklyn, NY. He suggested the uber driver to pull over at the beginning of the NYC side of the bridge. When I asked why, he mentioned “it’s a beautiful day, lets walk across the bridge.” Of course my first thought was, “you want me to walk across the bridge…in heels?!” Shortly after, staring at the NYC skyline, he proposed. As soon as I looked up, both sets of parents and our close friends greeted us with excitement. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better…Nigam, with the help of our family and friends, surprised me with a huge after party. Nigam and I believe that all monumental moments in life should be celebrated with the people you love, and that’s exactly how this proposal transpired.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
We wanted a wedding so memorable, it would be an event to talk about for years to come. My father had the most creative and innovative ideas, my father in law always put our guests’ wishes first, and our moms always keeping us happy and healthy. With the help of Artistic Affairs, our planning dreams were put into a reality. Our vendors were all incredible, hard working, and exceeded all of our expectations.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I’ve always known I was not going to wear the traditional bridal red. I wanted an outfit that was decadent and fun. I chose to customize my bridal lengha with Anita Dongre; I kept a pink and gold theme and threw in a pop of green to match with the groom’s sherwani.

It was very important for me to represent all the generations of strong beautiful women in my family on my wedding day. Therefore, my jewelry was one of my favorite parts that helped complete my bridal outfit. I wore the same pancha sankla my mother wore at her wedding, and a gold chandan har that was gifted to me by my late grandmother.

As part of my wedding gift, my closest girlfriends and sister in law gifted me my wedding shoes for the week. The most incredible pair of Christian Louboutins and Jimmy Choos. I couldn’t feel my feet by the end of the week…but I sure felt like a princess!!

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was definitely the time we spent with our families. The process in general is extremely tough and meticulous. We spent almost every free weekend driving to different parts of NY and NJ, meeting with multiple different vendors. I have to say, it was all worth it when you can see the excitement and joy on our families’ faces. All decisions were made with pride and love knowing that each of them just wanted the best for us. It helped that every trip ended with a delicious meal and a large bottle of wine!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The uniqueness of it all! Our theme was royal and regal; we used a traditional inspiration with a modern twist. Every detail from the venue, to the decor, to the food selection maintained this theme. Most importantly, we made each event about the guests! The bar and buffet never closed, the music never stopped, each event was an endless party.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The entire week felt like I was living in a dream that went by in a blink of an eye! One moment that replayed in my mind was when Nigam and I took a second to ourselves. It was the morning before the wedding where he pulled me aside and said, “take in this moment, everyone we know and love will be in one place to celebrate us, this will truly be the best moment of our lives.” Taking those 5 minutes with your soon to be groom, realizing it is all for us…it’s a magical feeling that you will never forget.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.

Enjoy every moment of it! The planning process is extremely difficult and at times beyond stressful, but just know it all flies by in a flash! How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Ashish and I crossed paths in Fall of 2016 at a Falcons tailgate. We were introduced to each other through mutual friends. (Website gives a full description)

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Ashish planned the perfect proposal! It was Thanksgiving Day and we had planned to go to his sister's house for a wonderful dinner. Both of our families and friends were all having a fun time. Prior to eating dinner, we all wrapped around the island into a circle and took turns saying what we were thankful for. Ashish somehow managed to plan out where I would go right after him. (Of course by doing this, he knew that I would be so focused on my turn being next and not pay attention to him or what he was saying). During his turn, he talked about all of the things he was thankful for and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! For everyone that knows me, I am the hardest person to surprise but he did it! He somehow managed to get all of our families and friends together and plan the sweetest and most thoughtful proposal!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
With Ashish and I both being Virgos, we were organized and ready to plan this wedding! From google spreadsheets to shared calendars, we were unstoppable!. Our experiences with Erica Bogart (Hair), Mital Dhodia (Decor), Surinder Bedi (Reception Outfit) and Dhaval Patel (Food) were phenomenal! Each one of our vendors went out of their way to make sure things were perfect for us on our big day!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Growing up with 2 sister's, my mom has always done our Indian clothes shopping for us. We have built a strong trust factor in knowing she will get exactly what we want. I told my mom I wanted something different and definitely wanted a coral color incorporated into the dress.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part for both Ashish and I was to plan a reception at the Mercedes Benz Stadium! Once we were told we had the venue lockdown on the date we wanted, we were super excited to start planning! To be the first ever wedding reception at this venue made it an even better experience!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our guests loved everything about our wedding for food, decor and entertainment! But most of all, our guests loved having the experience of being able to sit on the field for our reception!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The first time stepping out on the field with everything set up. We walked onto the field to take pictures but both Ashish and I had to take a step back to take everything in and remember that moment forever. To be able to have our photos on the halo and screens inside the stadium was priceless!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
R. My words of wisdom for other brides- All of the fights and arguments that will come about during the planning process will not matter at the end of the day. Always remember the only thing that matters will be you and your significant other on your special day!

That is all for today, ladies! Come back tomorrow for more amazingness!
