This time, we put our colorful sarees on and headed down to Rajasthan, India, for a celebration that was bigger than life! Taranjot & Himmat truly paid homage to their roots and ancestry with a gala for the ages, and our friends from Cupcake Productions were there to store all the incredible moments! There are really few places as magical as The Oberoi Udaivilas and our lovebirds knew that very well. The venue was at its very best for the gala, fill to the brim with color, magic, guests and all the amenities that made this celebration, truly a once in a lifetime experience. Time to kick start our week, ladies! And what better way to do that than with a brand new feature Indian wedding film? Last year we had the gorgeous picture gallery from Subreena & Amar's gala thanks to the visual artistry from Banga Studios. Today, it is our absolute pleasure to share with you, the beautiful and love-fueled highlight reel of these two lovebirds coming from Brampton and thanks to Dream Productions. Everything that went on, we have it here! Going from the traditional and always fun baraat featuring the talent from Band Bajha Entertainment, to the lavish reception party with Empire Entertainment's beats! Trust us, it was grand! The ceremony itself was also to die for! So full of love, family, color, and of course, by the gorgeous roaring ocean. Maharani Subreena just took my breath away with her fashion choices for the celebrations. Such a gorgeous bride with an impeccable and overall sophisticated style and allure. Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We were planning to attend a friend's wedding in Mexico and two weeks before, Amar suggested we do our e-shoot video on the resort as our videographer Dream Productions was already going to be there. Amar proposed to me in beautiful Cancun, Mexico on a boardwalk on the beach. The sun was shining and we were looking towards the ocean. We were re-filming a scene we had just done, but this time when I turned around Amar was waiting for me on one knee with the ring. I was not expecting that and my eyes filled up with tears! I said YES and we were lucky enough to have the moment captured. Our friends at Dream Productions captured our proposal video and Northern Lights Studios took our pictures. 

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Not every girl can say that their husband put all their bridal and pre-event outfits together. I was one lucky girl as my husband designed my bridal lengha for me. Amar is the creative mind and designer behind Sahiba Fashions. The only thing I knew is that I wanted the color red, and I left the rest up to him. I had no idea what I was wearing until the outfits came in and I was over the moon with the final product. My husband put a lot of effort into my outfits and I am so grateful for his unconditional love. 

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Amar and I got to experience the best of both worlds during our wedding, and we would like to thank our family for going on this journey with us and making our dreams come true. We did all of our pre-events and traditional Sikh Gurdwara Ceremony in Brampton. Then we flew with our amazing family and friends to Cancun, Mexico to enjoy a wedding on the beach and party the night away for our reception. 

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
I would recommend hiring a day-of wedding coordinator to make sure everything runs smoothly and it allows the bride/groom and their families to enjoy the day stress-free. We put so much time and money into planning our weddings, the last thing we want is everything to be disorganized or have our families running around the day of the wedding. Our friends at Biji Planners, went above and beyond to make sure everything was organized and on time for our wedding here in Toronto. I was not once stressed and we had the dream wedding we always wanted. Our friends at Desta Wed took care of day-of coordination for our destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico.

Are you, ladies, ready for what we have today? If not, then grab a bottle of champagne, call your girlfriends and get comfortable because Steffi & Zeel's filmy is definitely a Bollywood like wedding experience for the books, I tell you that! The incredibly mystic India is our destination of the day, and what can be more exotic than that? The gala was perfectly planned by Event Tadka and was everything you want out of a royal couple. And as we will see in today's cinematic experience thanks to Destination Photographers, the word "grand" is not grand enough to describe it. Like the real Maharani princess she is, Maharani Steffi glowed like none other during her special union day with Raja Zeel! Such a romantic pair! How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met at my store, we had a few common friends but we never spoke/met personally. That was the first time we spoke, exchanged numbers and from that day we had that instant comfort and connection. We did not date each other, as we both were looking for a life partner during that time, so we decided to spend some time together and further decide. Once we were sure about our decision, we told our parents about and they agreed to meet. They met and said YES!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Yes, I always wanted to get married in a red Sabya outfit,  but when I saw this unique maroon color on me, I was all down. I went for this color

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
It involved both of our families and us, and we all were synced 24 - 7, constant meet-ups, discussions, everything was super exciting. Also prepping for sangeet, Holi flash mob with friends, bethaks with friends and family.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Brij ki Holi, lunch at vintage cars display - farm, sangeet, wedding

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
My groom danced for me, and he sang a song for me

Please enjoy your wedding, don’t stress about hair and makeup or outfits, because u have already given ur heart soul and energy finding for right resources, for past 6/7 months. So when u have ur d- day please enjoy, also as a bride u will always shine brighter than the crowd so be the queen u are.
