It is officially (kind of) winter and I cannot imagine a more proper visionary Indian wedding than that of Ami and Ambrish at the ultra swanky Marathon Music Works. The utterly romantic grounds of the wedding venue has my heart leaping and the lush foliage décor provided the perfect backdrop for a fairytale Indian wedding. Sweet and chic, Maharani Ami's Indian wedding is straight out of the pages of Instagram. Red Umbrella Event ensured that each celebration flowed seamlessly and planned the perfect series of events. What better way to celebrate than when the entire country is also celebrating? This year's 4th of July will always be remembered by our lovebirds and not only for the country's independence. Happiness comes from unsuspected timing and places and this wedding is no exception. From deep in the meadow, surrounded by mountains and the singing of the birds, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city of New York, Park Street Weddings carefully crafted for us to witness, the earthly union between Cassandra and Anu. Events Cherished was on the steering wheel the entire time, making sure that every detail went as smooth as the leaves touching the couple during the ceremony. And speaking of leaves, who better to handle the amazing decoration and floral arrangements than Jill from Earth Girl Flowers, definitely out of this world and in tune with the energies surrounding love! When the moon comes, the body knows it is dancing time. Mohnish from Desi Star Dj's made everybody jump out of their seats and join the dance floor. As this happened, Cima Bue and their fireworks gave an incredible scenography for our couple's Indian wedding grand finale. We’re loving Jesse and Aman’s enchanting fusion wedding film captured with love by IQvideography! Saba Decor brought their A-game while transforming the grounds of the Chaminade Resort & Spa into a Bollywood oasis filled with juicy tangerine hues and fragrant floral garlands. The vibrant mandap was the royal centerpiece of the outdoor space as the darling duo of Jesse and Aman walked together to the altar. The impeccable Glam Angelique adorned this bride with a soft glow and bouffant updo that was truly angelic. Jesse’s geometric inspired, jewel toned lehenga was the perfect compliment to Aman’s golden sherwani. What a gorgeous pair! As they made their way through the sea of elated guests towards their mandap, anticipation was buzzing in the air. We couldn’t help but tear up while witnessing the couple’s lovestruck vows. It is obvious how devoted they are to one another. Afterwards, we were swept away by the colors and sparkle surrounding the newlyweds’ rainbow hued sangeet and reception. With sensational decor by Saba Decor and decadent catering by Milan Catering, guests were filled to the brim with incredible food and visual eye candy. Soon, everyone swarmed the packed dance floor with DJ Gunjan grooving and shaking behind the turntables. IQvideography crafted a beautiful, fairytale wedding film that we’ll be rewatching for weeks to come. Enjoy all the loveliness!

This wedding film by One Media Production contained so many fabulous twists and turns! It began with Maria and Bimal’s glitzy sangeet bash, in which deep fuchsia hues and sparkling golden accents created a sumptuous atmosphere. We were enraptured by Maharani Maria’s sangeet look of a lacy pink blouse paired with a glittering skirt. So gorg! Guests put on their dancing shoes for the sangeet program, and the couple’s nearest and dearest put on a dazzling display of Bollywood talent that was the perfect way to kick start the celebrations! The couple and their guests then shifted gears for the serene ceremony at The Morton Arboretum. As angelic music by harpist Nichole Luchs wafted through the space, elegant Maria made her way down the aisle in her dreamy peach gown. Maria and Bimal’s picture perfect ceremony concluded with the newlyweds bounding outside to their awaiting chariot: an adorable bicycle adorned with flowers and a “Just Married” sign. To celebrate their union, the couple threw a cheerful pink and mint hued reception that made us smile. From the postcard writing station to the artisanal honey wedding favors, the event was bursting with the most creative details that you brides to be should gather inspiration from! The event ended in a swirl of music and dancing, with a euphoric set performed by the DJs at Creative Sounds. Maharanis, hit play to witness all the joy!

The sporadic rainfall that occurred during Asha and Eric's wedding ceremony simply added to the mystical beauty of this Lake Tahoe wedding. Here at Maharani Weddings, we are huge fans of Lake Tahoe getaways so were thrilled when this film by the superb Wedding Documentary Photo + Cinema came across our desks. And the wedding, which took place at Squaw Valley Resort, definitely did not disappoint! Sweeping aerial shots of magnificent, untouched NoCal nature juxtaposed against the bride and groom preparing for their big day captured the romantic, anticipatory energy of the event. This wedding was complete sophistication from beginning to end, and featured a rustic-chic theme that was overseen by the planning and design wizards at Once Upon a Time Events. Maharani Asha was the epitome of a poised, radiant bride in a lovely silk sari for her ceremony and a stunning reception lehenga from Neeta Lulla. Their fresh and airy mandap and florals were designed by Avasar Mandap and Thran's Flowers and seamlessly melded with the natural beauty of the surroundings. Their reception was a non-stop dance party - we couldn't stop smiling watching the glowing newlyweds and their guests rock out all night long to music by DJ Gagan with Bay Area Uplighting and enjoying sweets by Little Ladybug Bakery and Flour Girl Wedding Cakes!
