Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, Indian Wedding by Robles Video Productions

Robles Video Productions created a cohesive cinematic video for Richa & Abishek, which reflected the couple’s immense love, and style beautifully. The video made the entire setup look like a movie set made solely for the event! Kudos to Bridal & Event Lounge for planning this pretty sight outdoors at Los Verdes Golf Course! Abishek entered on a horse during a fun, jazzy Baraat from Enchanted Carriages set the tone for the rest of the wedding. We gaped at Richa with the same amount of awe that Abishek did, when we saw her in her blush pink tulle pleated lehenga with generous doses of sequins. A sleek updo, and bronzed makeup by Beauty By NG Nida Gazi prettified her even more! Abishek’s Nawabi-esque look in an ornate traditional cream-and-red Kurta with dhoti pants was relaxed yet flamboyant. NFP Events put up gorgeous white canopy tents for the guests, leading up to a chic, muted orange mandap with pops of red roses through bouquets and garlands. The reception was also hosted at Los Verdes Golf Course, albeit indoors, and the interplay between rich burgundy tones and gold decor lent grandeur to the event. NFP Events also put up a classy stage with a midnight blue star-studded backdrop, and flimsy, metallic drapes suspended in front of it. Abishek’s spiffy burgundy suit coordinated with Richa’s floral thread-work embroidered blouse - the two looked like they would rock a fashion editorial! Undoubtedly, everyone relished the delectable cake by Paper Street Cake. The highlight video also gave us snapshots of the couple’s funky poses for Global Photography, like Abishek’s heroic jumps, and Richa’s cinematic poses with her dupatta. The evening drew to a close with well-rehearsed and iconic performances by friends and family, after which the DJ’s from 3D Sounds took over.

Pittsburgh, PA, Fusion Wedding by Trillium Wedding Films

You know those wedding videos that are so delightfully engrossing, you end up singing, dancing and crying along? Preethi and Ben’s wedding by Trillium Wedding Films was exactly the kind, and one of the most eloquent same day edits (if there is even such a thing) we’ve seen. “Watching our Same Day Edit during our reception at Phipps Conservatory Tropical Forest & Special Events Hall was so surreal, as it was amazing to see how the day had unfolded,” reflected Preeti. The Benthi Sangeet was lit up in purple by EF Lighting, and hosted at Smallman Galley. It featured the cutest performance put up by the couple, after which the dance floor was opened by DJ Nameless, for the guests. Kadambari Arts did amazing work with their Mehendi for the bride as well as the guests, who were treated to dosas, kebabs, pani poori, and fresh coconuts, courtesy of The Taj Mahal, Inc, who also made their gorgeous wedding cake. At the ceremony, every frame did complete justice to the outdoors of Phipps Conservatory Outdoor Garden. Preethi was clad in a lovely purple and green Kanjeevaram sari paired with a hot pink blouse. Angela Mascarenhas at Flawless Bridal Beauty went to great lengths to ensure that her hair and makeup rightly complemented the many different elements of her ensemble like the little trinkets on Preethi’s updo, and her minimal yet statement gold jewelry. This fusion wedding mixed cultural rituals at their ceremony in a very unique way, which Divine Celebrations orchestrated perfectly. “It was important for us to create a wedding that was both traditional and fresh - one that felt like us,” recalled Preethi. The outdoor factor definitely aided Fragile Paradise Florist in designing and decorating the venue. Rose petals scattered on the aisle and the stage were a simple detail that somehow made the decor look put-together. Preethi made a thousand ombre paper cranes that were used throughout the wedding, photo booth and reception - talk about details! Jorge Santiago gave us dreamy shots of the wedding bash with his expert photography skills, and the Photo Booth by Fragile Paradise Florist resulted in fond souvenirs and memories for everyone.
