Los Cabos, MX Indian Wedding by Biyani Photography

Happy Friday, beauty queens! It is time to start getting ready for the weekend, and what better way to d it than taking a look at a magical love story that seems taken from the pages of a fairytale. So, get ready to dive into this fabulous wedding celebration that will take us to the mesmerizing landscapes of Los Cabos, Mexico. You heard right, we are taking a trip to Mexico, and more specifically to the Paradisus Los Cabos, where all wedding ceremonies and events took place. Right off the bat, we have to say that our lovebirds couldn't have asked for a more romantic and captivating backdrop to unite their lives in marriage. When we laid our eyes on the jaw-dropping shots captured by Biyani Photography, it almost felt like if we were daydreaming, and we immediately knew that this one of a kind love story, and we needed to share it with you! The romantic and heavenly wedding ceremony took place at noon, and oh boy, it was a dream come true! Having a beautiful clear sky and the endless sea as the backdrop for this long-awaited moment where Saakshi & Indy swore eternal love to each other, rendered us speechless! Thanks to the good friends from Electric Karma International and Del Cabo Weddings, there was so much beauty to admire inside the wedding venue. They planned everything down to the smallest detail and mirrored the beauty of our gorgeous couple, designing the sweetest and most charming decor that we have seen in quite a while! The soft-pasteli hues that contrasted to perfection with the natural backgrounds and the outfits Anita Dongre designed for this young couple were the perfect choice to set the mood for this wedding ceremony! Although they both looked ravishing, it was our lovely Saakshi who stole the show throughout the entire wedding festivities thanks to her drop-dead gorgeous look! So, kudos to Suzanne Morel Face and Body Care, who took care of her beauty needs and Los Cabos Entertainment Company, who outlined a fabulous Mehndi design, adding an extra touch of traditional flair to Saakshi's marvelous look! We cannot stress how much we loved this magical wedding ceremony, as it feels like a breath of fresh air during these unprecedented times. If you are like us and can't get enough of this lovely couple during their wedding, you can't miss the spectacular gallery that we have prepared for today. It overflows with so much beauty that will brighten up your day, and will melt your heart with joy!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
During my fourth year of dental school, Indy and I planned an impromptu trip to Paris. I spent a lot of time planning out the whole trip with Indy, little did I know he already had it all planned out! Our first morning in Paris, we went to Montmartre, my favorite part of Paris. It was a bit of a gloomy morning but Indy insisted we go anyway. Once we were there, Indy proposed in a garden in front of The Wall of Love and had a photographer waiting there to capture the moment! She captured the entire proposal as well as the snow flurries that begun falling immediately after he proposed! We spent the next 5 days enjoying everything that Paris has to offer.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I could not have planned this wedding without the help of our wedding planner, Therese (Electric Karma), and our families! It truly was a team effort with each member of our family playing a big part. After visiting Cabo with my parents and Therese, we immediately chose Paradisus Los Cabos as our venue. Once the venue was in place, Therese guided us in picking all of the vendors, most of which she knew personally. We got lucky with the most incredible group of vendors who we worked with closely over the course of one year to plan all of the details.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part was the amount of time that Indy and I spent talking to our parents and sisters and bouncing ideas off each other throughout the year. I felt that both of our families really bonded through the wedding planning process. The brunches, family "meetings" and phone calls made the planning process fun! Especially because Indy and I lived in New York and Boston, respectively, for half of the planning process, so it was nice being in touch with our family in Texas.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The guests loved how much detail went around planning four days of events. It is very rare for an Indian wedding to stick to a schedule, but we were able to make it work! We had our wedding in Cabo San Lucas at the Paradisus Los Cabos resort, a relatively small resort which means our wedding took over the majority of rooms with all ~240 guests staying there. We had beautiful weather the whole week and Cabo is such a breathtaking place to spend time with friends and family before getting married! Everyone was in vacation-mode and had plenty of energy for the four days of fun that we had planned! Guests also had plenty of time each day to enjoy the resort, beach and the town since we had the Sangeet, Wedding Ceremony, and Reception each on a separate day.

Everyone also loved the food! The resort had a variety of great sit-down restaurants and we were lucky to have Chef Gaurav Anand fly in from New York City to cater our wedding! He curated a wonderful menu of Indian, Mexican, and International dishes for the Sangeet, Wedding Day, Cocktail hour and Reception. He put together an incredible plated Indian dinner for our reception which was the one thing I really wanted all along!!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
I just keep dreaming about the whole week of countless amazing memories! We truly had the best week of our lives in paradise with all of our family and friends. We're already planning a reunion trip!

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
There are so many aspects to planning a wedding that I never even thought of before this whole process. Having a knowledgable wedding planner, such as Therese, who has done this almost 1,000 times (literally!) really helped us achieve everything we wanted! Without her knowledge and experience, we would have been overwhelmed, especially since we chose to do a destination wedding.

Remember that e have new stories every day, so make sure to join us on Monday for more!

Alpharetta, GA Pakistani Wedding by MNK PRO

Good morning, beautiful ladies! Can you believe it is Friday again? This week went by so fast that it feels like we went from Monday to Friday in just the blink of an eye. But I guess that's what happens when you are having so much fun enjoying the romantic and inspiring love stories that we have for you every day! And this Friday is no exception. Let's prepare for the weekend by taking a look at Shoheera & Mohammad's love story, and believe us; this is one you don't want to miss. The 3-day long wedding bash started with a series of pre-wedding events filled with traditional flair, colorfulness, and lots of love. So you can imagine how excited we were when we received this wedding on our editorial desk! The exclusive Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta was the venue of choice to host all wedding events, and we can't think of a better place to have hosted this celebration of love as the versatility and accommodations offered by this venue is like no other! Royal Dekors enhanced the beauty of the entire festivities thanks to the marvelous decor they created. Each setting was completely different from each other but equally mesmerizing and impressive, and all we have to say is that they did a fantastic job! And before we go any further, we want to take a moment to admire the ravishing look of our gorgeous Maharani whose presence during the entire festivities marveled and amazed all guests! Hands down, Shoheera showcased her exquisite fashion sense, donning classy attires and rocking a glamorous makeup designed by Color Impressions by Saba. The cherry on top of this dreamy look was the artistic and elaborate Mehndi designed by Beauty You Deserve! After the wedding ceremony concluded, a luxurious wedding reception started, and oh boy, the backdrop of this closing gala was reminiscent of an ancient Indian palace! Elegance and traditional flair at its best! DJ Vibes enlivened every moment of this party and put everyone to dance. For dinner time, all guests enjoyed delicious plates prepared by Asmas Cuisine, right before having a bite of the sweet cake baked by Inspirations Unlimited. If you want to check more of this couple, make sure to visit today's full gallery. And if that is not enough, don't miss this Video Blog. Both are visual masterpieces created by MNK Pro, so you already know that amazingness and inspiring ideas are guaranteed!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I met Mohammad ("Mo") while I was doing my Master's program in Boston. He moved there for work. I was trying to be more social at the mosque, so I decided to go out with a group of people for bowling. Mo was working late that night, but one of his friends (who planned the bowling night) convinced Mo take a break and join us. That's the first night we met and hung out together.

When we met, it was an instant spark. As I got to know Mo as friends, I saw a lot of signs that pointed towards him being "the one". We got along really well, shared many of the same values and ideals in life, which for me was a rare find, and we supported each other with our goals and ambitions. There wasn't really one specific moment where I knew - I think there were lots of mini moments that confirmed that we were meant to be together through the course of our relationship.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We both come from a traditional family! So there was no proposal. We had a very traditional engagement ceremony with our family and friends, complete with the ring exchange, dinner, and dancing.

He did surprise me with the most amazing date night, with dinner at the same place as our very first date, a walk through our favorite neighborhood, and dropping down on one knee to ask me to marry him.....A MONTH BEFORE our wedding. I guess all the hints I dropped about wanting to be proposed to post-engagement really worked.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Wedding planning was stressful because I was planning a 3 day wedding in Atlanta from Boston, but I started very early. I secured the venue, decorator, photo/videographer and caterer 10-11 months before the date. I relied mostly on word of mouth - vendors I knew have done an exceptional job in the past. I looked through Instagram and Facebook to see their work as well. I had a list of priorities where I knew I couldn't compromise on: food was a big one. At a desi wedding, the only thing that your guests care about is food. Photo/video was another priority because that's all that would be left to look at once the big day was over.

I will say, if I had to plan my wedding all over again, I would not change a single vendor. They were all so amazing to work with and they were truly amazing people that I got to know during that year of planning.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Most girls have a vision of how they want their dress to look like years and years in advance. I just knew I wanted my dress to be the traditional red. I had a few ideas (long top, skirt) but I was very open to other ideas. I traveled to Pakistan for my wedding shopping and relied on word of mouth about which designer would be the best one for me. The first (and only) place we went to was PLK (they're super well known in Pakistan), and that's where I got every single outfit designed (from scratch) for myself. Because I didn't have any specific idea or vision for the dress, I was able to mix and match designs, fabrics, shades of color, and styles for every inch of my wedding dress.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
THE FOOD. To this day, we have family and friends talk about how AMAZING food was at our wedding. I'm so glad I went with Asma's Cuisine. They catered my engagement dinner and I knew that day that they would be the only ones that would cater my wedding.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
We had a very traditional 3 day desi wedding. The first day was mehndi, second was pithi/haldi + sangeet, and the third day was Nikkah in the morning with a reception in the evening.

I didn't have too many ideas for my decor, with the exception of the backdrop for sangeet and reception. Yasmin Khan of RoyalDekors really helped bring out my creative and visionary side and added her own experience and input to come up with decor that would look unique and beautiful for each event.

The dances at the sangeet were another favorite moment. Mo and my friends and our cousins did a 45 minute sequence of dances and a skit that portrayed our love story. We had a cousins/siblings dance for both sides, a girls dance, a guys dance, and a ShoMo dance followed by the skit.

Reception was quick because I really wanted to have a large amount of time dedicated to open dance floor. After our entrance, we had our first dance, cake cutting, speeches, and then we played the shoe game - you know, the one where we sit back to back holding one of each other's shoes as we get asked questions about each other - followed by dinner and dancing.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Start planning early. Us girls have a very specific vision of how we want our wedding to be for years and years. And if that is the case with you, it is best to start planning well in advance to secure your vendors who can make your dream wedding a reality. Come up with a list of things that you do not want to compromise on (for me, it was food and photo/video) and set your budget accordingly. I also think it's so important to try and take your wedding day one moment at a time. The day really flies by fast so enjoy it as much as you can!

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
My makeup and hair was done by Saba Jawed of Color Impressions by Saba. She was so great to work with. Because I didn't have a clear vision for each look, she really worked with me to figure out how to make each look for every event beautiful and unique. She made me look and feel like a Maharani bride.

My mehndi was done by Nikki Karimi from Beauty you Deserve and I LOVED her work. I really wanted mehndi that was very intricate and that's exactly what she did.

I also decided to get fresh flower gajray bracelets made for my sangeet night. Gardlands by Yasmin did that and I think she also did an amazing job. I showed her the color of my outfit and she made beautiful bracelets to match my outfit.

My cake was made by Nausheen Amir of Inspirations Unlimited. I asked her to incorporate my bridal lengha designs into the cake and she did just that. The cake looked spectacular and really complimented by bridal lengha.

Have an awesome weekend, ladies! Remember to wash your hands, share time with your loved ones, and, most importantly, don't forget to join us on Monday for more!

Serbia, Turkey & India Indian Fusion Wedding by CineLove

Happy Monday, beauty queens! A full weekend without your company feels like an eternity, but we are so excited to be back so we can continue sharing our passion for fantastic wedding celebrations! And today's featured wedding is nothing less than spectacular. It is so unique and filled with surprises that we can firmly say that this is unlike any other wedding that we have witnessed in quite a while. For starters, Bobana & Ansh's fairytale had three different destinations: Serbia, Turkey, and India. How amazing is that! Every event of this wedding was mesmerizing as breathtaking, and we find ourselves lost of words to describe the jaw-dropping attires and the swoon-worthy set-ups conceptualized and styled by none other than Meha Bhargava of Styl.Inc. The celebrations started with a heavenly Christian ceremony in Belgrade Serbia, which is Bobana's hometown. And oh boy, this opening ceremony was to die for! From the captivating decor crafted by Svadbena zvona to the ravishing look of our gorgeous couple, everything was amazing! The festivities continued in Antalya, Turkey, where they had a 3-day long, Indian wedding. A colorful Haldi, a fun-loving Mehndi, and a vibrant Sangeet were just the preamble for the full-traditional Indian wedding ceremony held at the Titanic Mardan Palace. This paradisiacal venue, which combines traditional architecture and a soothing natural environment, added an extra touch of uniqueness to this event, becoming the perfect backdrop for these lovebirds to profess their love and commitment to each other. The wedding festivities concluded with an unforgettable reception held at the Mor Bagh - New Delhi, where All in Organization & Events took care of the decor, and Manish Puri enlivened every moment with upbeat melodies. Hands down, Bobana & Ansh's had the wedding of their dreams! And this could not have been possible without a highly talented and experienced team like the one Bobana & Ansh's had by their side. So big kudos to Chapter 2 Events for the on-point planning and execution, Anjie Gogna for the ravishing look created for our gorgeous Maharani and CineLove for the marvelous shots that made this feature possible! Visit today's gallery for a full revel of this wedding!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I was visiting family in London England, and took a day to wonder the city. I got lost at the train station trying to find my platform, bumped into Priyank(groom) asked him for directions. He walked me to the platform and asked me for my number. I denied it and gave him my Instagram. He slid into my DM’s and we began chatting. He flew to Toronto to see me about 3 months later to see if this would work, about the 4th day into his visit I just knew this was it.

We took a trip to italy. We spent 10 days wandering different parts. He waiting u too the last day of our trip. We were in Venice, he proposed on a gondola ride. It was magical.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
I knew I wanted Shimmer Studios for my makeup, as I’ve had her doll me up for my sisters wedding. No one else came to mind. Henna by Divya is an amazing henna artist and ever since I discovered her I knew when I got married she’d be the one. I almost didn’t recognize myself I looked so good . My henna was everything I dreamed of, the colour was dark, the design was everything I wanted. Both artist out did my expectations.

The resort i has only seen through pictures, I was a little nervous about how everything would turn out. My wedding planner from the resort  was amazing, when we got there she toured us around all the venues and asked us if we were satisfied. The decor I chose I just sent pictures of ideas but they put did themselves. Everything was exactly how I wanted and more.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I knew I didn’t want to go tradition red and gold, when I went to Mumbai to do my shopping i saw it in the 2nd store I went into and just knew that it was the one.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Most enjoyable part was planning the reception and the dances.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The vibe at the resort was amazing. Everyone from both sides got along well. The food was great. There was never a dull moment, everyone’s needs were catered to. One thing we did that everyone appreciated was incorporate Everyone into all of the events so everyone had a part in the wedding.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The reception would be my most memorable moment, after the reception everyone jumped off the balcony into the pool.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
The Decor at the reception was Gorgeous! I knew from the pictures that it would be nice but seeing it in person even I was in awe of it. The dances at the reception were amazing. The entire wedding party did a surprise dance for myself and the groom, I watch that video almost everyday. My sister and brother in-law did a story line dance that outlined our entire relationship and it was amazing.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Don’t set expectations. It’ll set you up for disappointment. Plan everything with a cool and calm mind, and trust your instincts. Enjoy EVERY moment because it goes by so quickly.

That is all for today, darlings! Have a great weekend full of love and inspiring ideas, and don't forget to join us on Monday for more!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
They say that soulmates are there to complete you. That a soulmate is your better half. I’ve never believed in that. I believe in me being whole and my soulmate being his whole. A soulmate is supposed to compliment you. Inspire you to be the best you can be at whatever it is that you want in life. A person who you can be unapologetically yourself with. Your person. Everyday I wake up with a heart of gratitude for God giving me “my person”. I met Nur on the campus of our university. Living in a technological, millennial era I had a friend request from him prior to. We both had mutual friends but I’ve never met him. Our first run in was at the campus coffee shop, where we were both in line and immediately I recognized him from the request. We looked at one another and that moment seemed like forever. As if time stood still. We didn’t say a word but that moment I still remember vividly, felt like I’ve known this person all my life. Later on that week, I walked into one of my classes and as fate would have it, the last remaining seat was next to him! We had the same class and from there our friendship began. Going to class was much more exciting because I knew he’ll be there. In between classes, we would spend hours just laughing over cups of coffee. We became best friends. I knew what I felt him, how much I grew to love him. I was fearful what if he didn’t feel the same way, what if I ruined what we have with wanting more. I didn’t know if he felt for me the way I felt for him. I decided to put my feelings on the side and start setting up blind dates for him! I just knew he would make any girl happy and I wanted him to be with someone. He was so confused to why I was doing that and a part of me was just as confused. Why couldn’t I just tell him how I felt? That created a space between us. He was confused to why I would try to set him up with someone when he thought the feelings between us were mutual. We didn’t speak for a few weeks until we met and he expressed how much he’s in love with me. I was over the moon and felt so relieved that he felt everything I did! From there our love story started and it’s been a journey of love, joy, happiness, tears. I wouldn’t want it to be any other way. We finally tied the knot with our dream wedding, surrounded by our family and friends. I love every moment of knowing I have a best friend before I have a husband. Someone who I can be myself with and love him through life’s every trial and tribulation. I love him because he’s a part of me but I love him even more for what I am with him. That’s our love story and it’s my favorite.

The night of August 30th was the most surreal night of my life. That day wasn’t the happiest of days for me, I wasn’t feeling well and decided to take the day off from going into the office. Throughout the day I communicated to Nur about how I was feeling. That evening he decided to surprise me at home with the most beautiful bouquet of roses which I felt was the sweetest thing ever. To my surprise, that entire night was comprised of surprises. He wanted us to enjoy the night and persisted on grabbing dinner and drinks in the city. As hesitant as I was, I gave in to make him happy. It was the perfect summer night. We drove into the city and all I could remember is just how happy I was in that moment as the warm summer breeze swayed my hair into the summer night. Our laughter drowned out the noises of the city and time felt like it came to a standstill. He drove in front of a hotel and I was frazzled to why we weren’t at a restaurant but he assured me that we’re having dinner on the rooftop. We were getting ready to go in and he seemed to be busy on his phone, answering calls and texts and prolonging us going in which really irritated me. He said he needed a few mins to answer a conference call and that frustrated me even more. He stepped outside the car to take the call and when he got back I was just over it. We’re in the elevator going up to the rooftop and I was just so upset. He’s leading the way and as I walk into the outdoor space I hear our favorite song, “All of Me” by John Legend playing. I see my sisters there and from that moment I felt like time seemed to stand still. It was as if I was in a dream. The sun was setting and the entire sky was painted beautifully. He led me to the center of the rooftop and got on one knee. All I could remember is him saying “A summer night, our favorite song, a view above our city & you. I’ve waited six years for this.” He then pulled out the most gorgeous ring from his pocket and asked me to be his forever. Off course I said yes!!! Surrounded by the most important family and friends, every moment of that night felt as if I was lost in this dream. The night was perfect, the ring was perfect but the most important part of that night was being able to say yes to my best friend. To my soulmate because without him there wouldn’t be a me.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Nur and my life long dream was to be a Sabyasachi Bride and Groom. I wanted to be a traditional Bengali bride, while keeping my personal style intact. For my nikkah ceremony, I was very specific about wearing a banarasi saree and in the color beige. Nur also wanted to keep it neutral, simple and wore the color beige. He opted for a classic beige quilted sherwani by Sabyasachi. He paired it with a beige and gold bordered shawl. After waiting for months, I also found "the saree" in the perfect shade of beige at the Sabyasachi store in Kolkata. For our reception, we had a different vision in mind. We wanted to go for a regal and timeless look. I've always had my eyes on Sabyasachi's maroon velvet lehengas and i knew i found the one the moment i saw his Fall 2019 collection. Nur decided to wear the classic black  sherwani with a gold benarasi churidar and a maroon velvet shawl, to match my maroon lehenga. We worked with the Sabysachi team remotely through various channels including media platforms, and communication channels, to place an order for our wedding attires. The experience was seamless and precise.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was spending more time with our family and friends. With everyone's insanely busy schedule, its always difficult to make plans with family and friends. But when there's an upcoming wedding, everyone takes a backseat from their daily lives to come together and get creative. During my planning process,  i was able to spend as much time as possible with my siblings, cousins, and best friends. The best memories i have from that time is shopping, trying on hundreds of outfits, dance practice, and running a thousand errands in a day, all while laughing and having a mental breakdown at once.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our wedding designers did a phenomenal job with our decor. All of our guests were taken back the moment they walked into the venue. They also couldn't stop raving about how much they enjoyed the food.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The most special moment in our wedding was the first look. From the beginning of the day, I was extremely nervous and excited to see Nur. I wanted to have a first look, just to hold him one last time before becoming husband and wife. I remember feeling a thousand butterfies in my stomach as i walked up to Nur from behind and tapped his back. The best part of this was seeing his reaction as he saw me. That moment was one of the happiest moments of my life.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
For our Mehndi, we chose a theme of warm and the tropics. We decided to go with bright, vibrant arches of the most gorgeous roses, bright green foliages, and palm tree center pieces for the tables. My bridal party dressed in hues of greens. For our reception, we wanted a whimsical, romantic garden theme. thousands of white roses adorned the grand ballroom of the venue. Candles lit throughout the entire room, to create the most romantic, dreamlike atmosphere.
