Maharani Anjali is as beautiful as can be in a custom designed bridal lengha by Ranisha Patel of Binari Art, adorned in a striking set of gold wedding jewelry. Maharani Anjali on how she met the Raja of her dreams, Pritesh:

"Pritesh and I have been a part of the same friend group for over 10 years now. After college, we grew closer and closer and began liking each other. It was then on Christmas Eve 2012 that he asked me out on a first date at Einstein's Brunch in Atlanta. Our relationship grew from friendship to love over the years and now to husband and wife!"

On her Raja's romantic proposal:

"At the time, Pritesh was in Business School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We were in a long distance relationship and I had no idea he was in Atlanta, surprising me with a proposal. He was planning this day with 20 of our closest friends and family on the beautiful rooftop of our friends condo in Atlanta. On June 21, I was at brunch with my girlfriends which soon turned into a beautiful proposal. They somehow convinced me to go to our friends condo. As the elevator doors opened, I see Pritesh waiting outside with a single rose in his hand (remember, I thought he was in Chapel Hill) The moment Pritesh got down on one knee, it started pouring rain. It was the most romantic moment of my life. My mom always tells me rain symbolizes good luck, but at the time, my vision was blurred with rain drops and tears of joy. I was finally going to marry the man of my dreams!"

Meet me back here later today for some breathtaking wedding moments from Anjali and Pritesh's ceremony!

Norwalk, CA Indian Wedding by Chico Photo

With the help of MUABeauty By NG Nida Gazi, today's Indian bride has let her hair down and marveled us all with her magnificent reception makeup for her post-ceremony soirée at the DoubleTree Hilton Norwalk. She's wearing a midnight blue lengha that sparkles brilliantly like the night sky, and her brand new hubby, Mithil, is dashing as ever in a finely tailored tux, as the two rock it out on the dance floor with the help of their DJ from 3D Sounds. These fantastic reception highlights, captured by the phenomenal Chico Photo, illustrate just how fun our newlweds are as they show off their dance moves. Their planning and design team, Bridal & Event Lounge, has turned the ballroom venue into one spectacular party setting with glittering details from their elegant floral and decor. The adorable duo worked with Pacific Patisserie to create the wedding cake of their dreams — a three-tier, white work of art with just the right amount of bling. You can catch even more from their incredible Indian wedding event in the complete gallery if you're still itching for extra — we know we are!

Maharani Puja, on what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"Coming up with ideas that were impossible, but somehow turning them into a possibility. I would just share tons and tons of ideas with my family and friends and they were just somehow down to do everything! I decided I wanted to dance down the Haldi ceremony with my brothers! And all my brothers were down to dance, even though they're not the best dancers!!! Even the craziest of ideas! Especially my parents..they never said no to anything! Whether it was bringing a Rickshaw into the hall on my garba night, or flying out a singer I found on Youtube to come sing at the wedding! Who by the way was beyond amazing! her name is Lisa Mishra. These little things make a wedding unique! Everyone can have a wedding, but making it your own is what makes everything worth it!"

On her and her Raja's first dance song selection:

"We danced to Samjawah, and then added in Jaati Hu Mein, Oh baby don't break my heart, and then Hero #1, and finished off with Samjawah again. We both aren't the romantic type, I just didn't want people staring at us while we danced! We can do that in private, haha! So we decided to make things a little fun to go along with our personalities! I'm a huge fan of all the 90's Hindi songs."

That's it for today, my dears! If you haven't already, don't forget to check out our amazing wedding feature on the Platinum Guide today, and join us tomorrow for more wedding inspiration!
