You are in for a true Desi delight today, because we have the most gorgeous Pakistani fusion fairy tale from Ontario, Canada, to share with you! Fusion Events planned this amazing affair we'll be unveiling bit by bit throughout the day for stunning bride, Erika, and the Raja of her dreams, Hasan. We're starting this morning off with a look at the adorable duo, and some of  their fashionable details, before they head off to their first look photo session with their wedding photographer, Ben Benvie. Beauty Concept By Shirley Wu was right by Erika's side, helping her get ready to dazzle on her big day with picture perfect hair and makeup to go with her gorgeous white and gold wedding lengha. The blushing bride topped her look off with a traditional tikka and jhoomar, and we can't wait for you to see the smile on her hubby-to-be's face when he lays eyes on her for the first time in her bridal fashions! Maharani Erika, on how she met the Raja of her dreams, Hasan:

"Hasan and I first met in 2011, in Toronto. I was there for work and I went out to dinner with a couple of my friends. One of my friends, Nida, met me outside the restaurant to tell me that she had someone inside that she wanted me to meet. I was so embarrassed because I wasn't ready to meet anyone at that time and I thought it would be awkward. We all had dinner and he seemed like a great guy, but I just wasn't interested. Flash forward to three years later -- Hasan was completing his post-doctoral research fellowship at Yale and I was on my way to NYC for work. I asked if he was free to meet up because my plans fell through and I wanted someone to hang out with. He couldn't make it work with his schedule, unfortunately, but we kept messaging anyways. A month later I went to Toronto on vacation and he was there so we met up. Two weeks later he flew to Detroit to meet me, and that's when I knew he was "the one." Things moved so fast from there...three weeks after his first visit, he came back to Detroit to meet my family and then we got officially engaged in August!"

On her wedding hair and makeup:

"Shirley Wu did my hair and makeup. For this event I wanted a little more heavy makeup and an elegant updo. She delivered on both!"

We're beyond thrilled that Veer Entertainment, who DJ'd Farwa and Faraz's celebration, introduced us to today's Pakistani bride and groom and their sensational shaadi. This double feature has delighted us to no end, and these final details from the newlyweds' valima at the CoCo Key Water Resort are the perfect way to end the day. Sachi Anand Photography snapped up these elegant moments from the Pakistani wedding of our dreams, and these highlights from the happy couple's reception are just part of the exquisite elements that made up with extraordinary event. Dhol Baja Baraat delivered sensational decor details at the Farwa nad Faraz's mehndi party, and they also brought in some stunning Desi wedding decorations to this post-ceremony soirée! Playing off of the classic peacock color scheme with the addition of bold, black panels, the sweetheart stage was absolutely beautiful, and everything from the bubbles blown during the adorable duo's entrance to the previously featured details of their celebration at the Long Island Marriott and their nikah have been truly spellbinding. Following their fabulous celebration at the Long Island Marriott, where Stylish Events worked some serious decor skills, the newlyweds had room for one more important, traditional shaadi event, and they made sure theu were going to dazzle for the festivities! Today's stunning Pakistani bride is brilliantly breathtaking in her sheer, soft grey and baby pink lengha, and the Raja of her dreams cleans up nicely in his classic, steel-colored suit. Hair and makeup artist, Glow BY Affan, has impressed us with her beauty prowess, and created the most flawless look for Farwa. Before the rukhsati, Maharani Farwa and Raja Faraz stayed true to Pakistani wedding traditions with a ceremony at the Long Island Marriott, where Stylish Events decked the venue out in Desi wedding decor details that just took our breath away! Sachi Anand Photography captured those stylish decorations, plus a collection of captivating wedding portraits that show off the Pakistani bride and groom's incredible fashion sense. We just adore Farwa's multi-colored lengha. The color-blocked tunic featured a two colors, one on each side, and the skirt dazzled with panels of vibrant fabric. We'll be getting an exclusive look at the newlyweds' valima fashions when I get back. OMG, Maharanis! Today's featured shaadi is a Desi dream wedding sent in by Veer Entertainment (who DJ'd the festivities), and this Pakistani celebration is so jam-packed with extraordinary detail that we're featuring it here and on the Platinum Guide! Talented shutterbug, Sachi Anand Photography, captured the most fantastic highlights from Farwa and Faraz's gorgeous event, and we're introducing you to the happy couple with a look at their mehndi party at the Italian Center of Stamford! Dhol Baja Baraat was called on to perfect the evening's style with some vibrant pre-wedding decor, and they did a bang up job. It's just not a traditional mehndi night without some bright colors and fabulous fashions! To deliver on the fashion side, Maharani Farwa dressed to impress us all in a fabulous, yellow anarkali, and her hair and makeup by Fizza Jafari was simply picture perfect — something these portraits can attest to!
