Events InStyle by Beenish has transformed the party space at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia into a Maharani-worthy reception venue with the most incredible floral and decor details, and it's time for us to check out some of the night's most fabulously unforgettable highlights — captured in these striking images by the talented team from FengLong Photography! Cafe Bombay Restaurant and Catering catered the elegant affair with their sizzling menu of South Asian fare, and Prime DJs's playlist inspired partygoers to make their move for the dance floor (we're sure some of those memorable moments were documented in the wedding film by One Entertainment Productions). Maharani Ambreen looked absolutely stunning in her hot pink lengha, and her party perfect do by hair and makeup artist, Beauty by Anh, was to die for. You can see even more from this extraordinary reception in the complete gallery, and make sure to check out all the pre-wedding and ceremony details while you're in there if you missed any of them earlier today!
Maharani Ambreen, on what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:
"During the wedding planning process, although there were some disputes between Altaf and I, I honestly enjoyed all aspects of planning that Altaf and I were able to do together. To my fortune, Altaf was involved in a substantial part of the wedding planning process, from helping me choose our first dance song to the minor details like ordering our “#Alfreen” hashtag sign. It was so much fun going food tasting at Café Bombay because in addition to ranking each item that we were going to prospectively cater, both of us ended up eating until our tummies hurt. When practicing for our first dance, I remember how Altaf and I started playing random Bollywood songs and dancing for an hour straight until our legs hurt. I also enjoyed when Altaf and I would get so excited about the minor details in the wedding, such as finding a good sale on sandals for the “dancing slippers” we put out on the reception night for the ladies, or finding the perfect groomsman socks and ties that matched the bridesmaid sarees, or making customized door tags for our guests."
On her most memorable wedding moment:
"I think the most magical moment that I remember from our wedding weekend is our first look, which happened prior to our Nikkah. I still remember when I walked across the bridge in the beautiful Crowne Plaza garden center, Altaf was turned around facing the opposite direction waiting for me to tap him on the shoulder. I was so nervous that I had butterflies as I was walking across the bridge. As I tapped him on the right shoulder, he slowly turned around and that feeling I felt when Altaf and I saw each other for the first time is indescribable. When looking into each other’s eyes, we both blinked our eyelashes, which is our sign for “I love you”, and just smiled. That moment was a very magical beginning to our fairytale wedding."
On her and her Raja's first dance song selection:
"Our first dance song was Jeena Jeena from Badlapur. This song was very significant for the two of us since the first time we heard this song was at a movie theatre in India. This day was also our 10 year anniversary of being together and the same day that we had our wedding cards printed. When thinking about what song would be the perfect fit to our first dance, Altaf and I knew that this would be our song."
On the role that family and friends played:
"Since this was the first wedding from both sides, our families were very excited to help with the planning especially all of the ceremonial rituals during the wedding. This wedding would not have been so successful if it were not for the help of our friends and family, whom sacrificed hours of sleep and were constantly on the move to make sure that each event went as planned and no delays occurred during each event. Because of them, we had a wedding that far exceeded our expectations."
On her dream team of vendors:
"First, Zach Long of FengLong Photography captured all the perfect moments, from the emotions on our families faces to the craziness of our friends. He went out of his way to make sure he was always there on time, even if that meant operating on 3 to 4 hours of sleep. He literally “captured memories” that Ambreen and I can refer back to for the rest of our lives.
Next, Taylor Farrow of One Entertainment Productions, was always ready to listen to all our wild suggestions and made them happen. We felt like they were always recording the perfect moments that made the wedding weekend feel like we were in a real cinema movie that my family and I would be able to watch over and over.
Ricky Walia of Cafe Bombay Indian Bistro & Caterers was amazingly on point with the food all weekend. Although the groom and bride does not often get time to eat, after tasting a few bites, Altaf and I could not stop going for seconds and even thirds (mostly me). Even the presentation of the food was so magnificent that people did not want to eat the food in worries of messing up the masterpiece presentation.
Anh Bui, truly had magical hands. Not only was she such a talented make-up artist but you also kept me feel calm. I felt like I was talking to a friend that made me feel less stressful every time. When I looked in the mirror, I felt so beautiful inside and out.
Sahil Kochhar, Ashwin 'Ash' Vasudevan, Anis Ali and rest of Prime DJs group did a great job not only with the magnificent lighting but also played some amazing music. They all did a wonderful job as our DJs. All of our guests had a blast, and they were a big part of the reason why. They kept the crowd dancing and set the perfect mood with the right mix of songs. Almost everyone told us how much their legs were hurting from dancing so much on Friday night and Saturday night.
Manisha's Mehendi Designs, thanks for doing such a good job with Ambreen’s Mehndi. It was very intricate and beautiful.
Finally, Beenish’s work of Events InStyle By Beenish, Inc., was truly a piece of art and she took care of everything like she promised. The decor was something I couldn't wait to see and it looked absolutely beautiful. I got a number of compliments at the wedding and I am so glad we picked her."
