Huntington, NY South Asian Fusion Wedding by BNB Photography

We recently shared this unforgettable highlight reel by SWAT Films, which featured a talented makeup artist who not only glammed the bride up beyond Princess perfection, but was the bride herself! That's right, in case you missed it, expert artist, Sana Alam, professionally known as Makeup by Sana, got hitched at the Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, in a spectacularly sublime, Gatsby-inspired South Asian fusion wedding wonder! The event was beautifully planned and designed by Ayesha Mian Wedding Planning & Decor, and features some incredibly inspirational floral and decor work by Elegant Affairs Inc.. Before we check out the rest of the day's remarkably amazing events, let's take a look at the talented bride herself as she gets ready for her big day! BNB Photography captured Maharani Sana as she primped and prettied herself like only an expert can — and check out her finished look! She is fabulously flawless in a shimmery, sheer eyeshadow and rich, rouge lip that complements her red and gold bridal lengha just stunningly. All of the perfect details, from her jewels to her breathtaking mehndi, set the tone for this pretty Princess' luxurious affair. Take a peek at what's ahead in the complete gallery.

Great Neck, NY Pakistani-Muslim Wedding by House of Talent Studio

House of Talent Studio takes us to the royal reception at the Leonard's Palazzo in New York where these Pakistani-Muslim newlyweds can let their hair down and join in on all the party fun. The elegant room is filled with gorgeous golden chairs, romantic rose petals on the tables, and lovely red and white floral centerpieces by Fern 'n' Decor. And, I am in awe of that sweet show-stopper of a four-tier white and gold wedding cake by ArtropolisDJ Gudah brings down the house with dhol players and drummers while guests feast on a magnificent meal—catered by Kabab King. For Maharani Ghazala and her new hubby, Awais, the night was a perfect combination of heartfelt speeches along with lots of laughter, tears and joy. See it all from the beginning in the gallery!

From the bride, on the entertainment:

"Entertainment was very important to us. My groom arranged a band (2 dhol players, a drummer and a saxophone player) that played bhangra music. A saxophone playing bhangra music with confetti and CO2 cannons blasting in the background was a first for our guests, but I think it made the night memorable."

On a special moment:

"While it isn't one particular moment, I would definitely have to say that I can distinctly remember the look on my groom's face all night. I have never seen him look so happy before. When I think back to that smile with our gorgeous decorations as a backdrop, that was my magical moment."

That is awesome! Enjoy the rest of your day, my darlings!

From the bride, on the wedding style:

"Originally I chose a color palette and realized it was becoming increasingly hard to plan a wedding around colors. So instead I just picked my dream dress. Once I did that, everything else fell into place to complement my dress."

On planning:

"As nerveracking as it was during the wedding planning process, now that it is over I realize I really did enjoy the countless hours I spent scouring the Internet for wedding ideas and ways to make them become a reality."

On help from family and friends:

"My family and bridesmaids helped out with a lot! One of my favorite moments however, was a poem that my father wrote for me and recited on the wedding day. It was about his daughter being like a little bird flying away from his nest. I think it made all my guests shed some tears."

Portraits of the couple are straight ahead!

From the bride, on how they met:

"Believe it or not, we were high school sweethearts. As cheesy as it sounds, I really can't remember a time before I knew he was "the one."

On hair and makeup:

"Pinterest was my best friend during the entire wedding planning process. I started out by pinning different looks I liked. When I narrowed it down to the general look I wanted, I did a trial with my MUA and tweaked the look as I saw fit."

Ceremony shots are coming up!
