Maharani Shafaq will inspire your inner fashionista with her red, blue and gold open-shirt lengha, and her fabulously finished hair and makeup by the uber talented (and Instagram famous!) artist, DressYourFace! The happy couple's nikah decor was a Desi dream in a bold, royal red and gold palette, and the elegant wedding cake by Royal Cakes was a three-tier beauty that matched the event's stunning style! In just a bit, we'll be getting our first taste of our newlyweds' walima details, which feature an evening DJ'd by Fusion Sounds! Meet Pakistani bride, Shafaq, who's set to tie the knot with the Raja of her Desi dreams, Sulemen! All day long, we'll be unveiling details from her amazing affair, starting with these mehndi night highlights, side-by-side with this extraordinary film, where you can get a feel of the phenomenal DJ and lighting work of the experts from Fusion Sounds! Let's dive heart first into Shafaq's henna details and her mehndi night spectacular at the Signature Banquet Hall, where the blushing bride dazzled in a heavily-embroidered outfit that took our breath away! Shafaq called on the hair and makeup artist, Beauty by Linda Chiriac, to perfect her pre-wedding look, and we could not be any more in love with her exquisite side braid! I mean, are we right? On top of fabulously fashionable bride's already incredible style, mehndi artist A Henna Designs, created breathtaking artwork on her that's just fab! We're diving into exclusive details from Hasan and Erika's Pakistani wedding festivities at full-speed, and these incredible highlights captured by Ben Benvie at the Pearson Convention Center are sure to make your heart race — or at least skip a beat! Fusion Events planned this unforgettable shaadi beautifully, and these walima details are beyond divine! We just adore the beautiful bride and her dashing new hubby, who both look like they're on cloud nine! There was dancing to be done, amazing fare to be had and a live band to bring it home. Maharani Erika, on her most magical shaadi moment:

"Walking into our reception was the most magical part for me. Seeing everything lit up and all of our family and friends together and so happy was priceless."

On Raja Hasan's special performance:

"Hasan sang some of our favorite John Mayer and Backstreet Boys songs. It was so touching."

The luxurious sweetheart stage has, literally, been framed to perfection and features decor details like chandeliers mixed in with the contemporary design that make the evening dazzle! There's no shortage of romantically lit lanterns and fabulous lighting elements at this evening to remember, and the wedding cake created by Elegant Cake Art is just begging to be cut into! You'll get to see the bride and groom do just that when we return later today with even more magnificent memories from this Pakistani fusion fantasy. Maharani Erika, on her wedding style:

"I feel like I changed my colors 6 times, but I always kept coming back to purple and gold. I think purple flowers pop so beautifully against a white dress, and gold is so elegant and timeless. I initially wanted to have two different color themes, but ultimately I decided to stick with what I love."

On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream shaadi:

"I'm so blessed that we had the opportunity to showcase both of our cultures. For me, learning about my fiance's culture and traditions was one of the most exciting parts of the planning process. For my side of the family and for my American friends, it was a really eye-opening experience because most of them have never been to a desi wedding. The clothes and music is so different from a typical "American" wedding, and I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to learn about and share such beautiful traditions with them."

On the role familys and friends played:

"Hasan's brother, Vajid, planned most of the event alongside the event planner. Each of the table numbers were images from iconic video games that Hasan and Vajid played together as kids. It was a very special detail that meant so much to Hasan and was a fun way to incorporate some of his personality into the event."

Ben Benvie caught up with today's cute couple before their extraordinary event for a romantic first look portraits session that is guaranteed to take your breath away. Today's blushing bride is an absolute vision in her white, gold and black wedding lengha, and her hair and makeup by Beauty Concept By Shirley Wu are fabulously flawless in each and every frame. Erika's Prince Charming is devilishly handsome in his traditional sherwani and violet, silk brocade scarf. We love the smile on Raja Hasan's face as he twirls his bride to get a good look at her glamorous Maharani style, and are itching to share more incredibly unforgettable highlights from the delightful duo's shaadi, next! Maharani Erika, on shopping for the perfect wedding lengha:

"This was a bit of a disaster. Not being Desi, it was hard to find a dress I liked that everyone else liked too. I don't think I look good in red, and I'm not a fan of the mix-matched colors schemes which can be common. I tend to like more Indian styles, while my husband's family is Pakistani and prefers their styles, so it was really difficult to find something that we both loved. I tried on several dresses and finally agreed to a dress. His family loved it, and I was assured that when it came in with the modifications, I would love it too. I finally had a chance to go to Toronto to try on the dress two weeks before the reception. I put the dress on and th measurements were wrong. The designer was so sweet and did everything she could to help. She brought out several new samples she had and we found one that was perfect for me. Ultimately, I was very happy with my dress, although it was so stressful at the time! I would highly suggest Naz Fashion Bug in Milton, Ontario. Amazing customer service."
