Long Island, NY Indian Fusion Wedding by PhotosMadeEz

Happy Tuesday, Maharanis! It feels great to be back with a new love story for you, and we are sure that today's fusion wedding will make your heart melt with tenderness and joy. So let's check it out together! When Jennifer & Chirag decided to join their lives in marriage, they knew they wanted to honor both their traditions and backgrounds, that is why they ended up having not one, but two wedding ceremonies. How lucky of them! Isn't it, ladies? We are starting today's feature by taking a look at the Christian Ceremony, and all we have to say is that we loved every bit of this solemn event, entirely planned by AG Events Corporate & Special Event Planning. And we particularly adored the look of our gorgeous Maharani who walked down the aisle looking like a princess in her white wedding dress from David's Bridal collection. This opening ceremony was so charming and emotional that we cannot help but feel happy for these lovebirds. After the Christian Ceremony, Jennifer & Chirag consummated the union with a traditional Hindu ceremony held at the fascinating outdoors of The Vineyards at Aquebogue. And oh, boy, this ceremony was a dream come true! The combination of colors and the exceptional floral decoration that Catskill Weddings put together for this outdoor ceremony helped make this event not just elegant, but delicate and exquisite, not to mention that it set a magical mood for this memorable and life-changing ceremony. Anywhere you looked, there was so much beauty all over the place, but nothing compared to the dazzling look of our gorgeous Maharani Jennifer! She looked breathtaking on this special day thanks to the exceptional work of SV Bridal Concepts by Sanjana Vaswani. The dreamy makeup, the delicate and classic hairstyle, and the stunning lengha by Nazranaa were all a perfect combination to enhance Jennifer's beauty. And let's not forget about the fantastic Mehndi designed by Mehndikalogie. These talented vendors took Jennifer's look to the next level, creating mesmerizing scenes beautifully captured by the lens of PhotosMadeEz. After both ceremonies, it was time to celebrate the newlyweds with a fabulous reception party enlivened by DJUSA, who put everyone on their feet playing the hits of the moment! Like in all previous events, Jennifer looked ravishing dressed in her swoon-worthy red lengha by Khanjana Boutique. Without any question, this is a celebration that will amaze every spectator, so don't forget to visit today's full gallery, if you don't want to miss any bit of it. You will love it so much!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
As he remembers it...

It was a quarter past seven and I had just bought a book, but not to read, but to gift to a girl I hadn’t yet met. Our first date was all lined up; it would be in Gramercy at my favorite bar just a short walk away. There I sat, on a stool, my feet dangling off the balance beams circling about in opposite directions the way one does before someone enters through a door and changes their life, leading them towards an immense amount of happiness. But I didn't know that then, I just thought I was nervous in anticipation wondering if the work of fiction was too bold a move. Fortunately, after giving Jenn a hug when she arrived she accepted the book with a smile more endearing than any I've seen.

The rest of the night was an incredible blur of fantastic conversation and a multitude of laughs bouncing from one topic to another as if we'd known each other for more than those few hours. The night would wind down so we made plans to see each other again and we both knew those weren't just words but a promise. A promise kept as not more than a couple days passed before we would hang out again and again. This would continue over the next couple years, the conversation never ceasing; the laughs endless and evermore.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
As she remembers it...

About a year and a half after meeting for the first time, Chirag arranged for a date night to check out a new place overlooking Columbus Circle. Initially, I was resistant to go out because it was a Thursday and I had to get up early for work. He convinced me to agree and I did because he seemed so thrilled to show me a new place. I told myself, we would see this place, have a quick dinner, and I can go home on time to get ready for work the next day.

The entire time we were together he fidgeted with his coat and was acting uncomfortable. Little did I know, he had the ring in his coat pocket and was worried that I'd see it, or worse, that it would fall out! We decided to eat dinner near his place, but he needed to stop by his apartment first. The elevator stopped at the top floor rather than the floor he lived on. When I tried to press his floor and go back down, he insisted that we see the view on the rooftop now that we are here. I thought it was strange that he wanted to go to the rooftop of his own building after we had just seen incredible views from the top of Columbus Circle! I was also still waiting to get dinner so I can get eat and then go home. I figured we could look quickly and get on with the plans, so I agreed to go.

As we walked towards the far end of the rooftop, I saw a table decorated with candles and flowers and I told him, "we're walking in on someone else's surprise!" I turn the opposite way from him to see if I can find someone and apologize. When I turn back around to him, there he is on his knees, holding a ring and giving a beautiful speech (most of which I cried through). I said YES and he put the ring on my finger. I knew my life was changed for the best and I was overcome with so much happiness that I began to cry. That moment was absolutely worth delaying dinner and staying up late on a school night!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Loved all my vendors!

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Catholic Ceremony dress- David's Bridal

Hindu Ceremony lengha from Nazranaa (16 Marconi Ave, Iselin, NJ 08830 ), chosen based on recommendations from friends, I wanted a spring feel to match the outdoor ceremony space and I  didn't want traditional red for ceremony but rather a blush color, something that felt more updated and more like me.

Reception - custom lengha from Khajana Boutique (1375 OAK TREE ROAD ISELIN, NJ 08830), I was unable to find an outfit that seemed just right and finally found out that they customize.  Shaina helped me to design the lengha from top to bottom, detail by detail and I LOVED how it turned out. Even the shade of red was perfect (yes-I decided to do red for the reception instead, because of how bold and beautiful it would look in the evening against all the lighting).

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Invitations-choosing a design and planning the layout, then seeing the hard work come to life! We used: Indian Wedding Card. They have good customer service, they send samples of anything fairly quickly, and so MANY styles to choose from!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
The reception venue because it was outdoors in a garden, there was great food and all with great weather!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The speeches from parents/family and friends
The dances from friends and family

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Try to have some private time with your significant other even if it's for only a couple minutes
Be sure to take a deep breath during moments and just take it all in
Have a family member/dear friend ensure you have a plate of food (and of course, one drink).

Thanks for tuning in today, darlings. Have an awesome rest of the day, and don't forget to join us tomorrow for more!

Wilmington, DE Indian Fusion Wedding by Maria DeForrest Photography

Happy Monday, darlings! We missed you so much during the weekend, and we were dying to share a lovely new story with you. And what better way to start this new week than taking a look at a charming fusion wedding. If you've been following us for quite a while, you already know that Indian fusion weddings have something special that makes our heart melt with tenderness and joy; and Krupa & Matthew's big wedding affair is no exception! So get ready to have a good time because today's featured wedding packs all the things we love, and so much more! We're starting this journey by joining this sweet and lovely couple at the Chase Center on the Riverfront, the venue of choice to host all wedding activities. To make her dream wedding come to life, our beautiful Maharani Krupa planned every detail of this long-awaited day, and the result was amazingly beyond her expectations! The perfect planning, combined with the heavenly decor in soft-colored hues designed by Nirali Decor, created a soothing environment for Krupa & Matthew to tie the knot in the company of their family and closest friends. Our lovebirds looked ravishing together in their matching attire. Still, it was our beautiful Maharani who stole the show! She said "I do" looking like a princess, dressed in a fashionable, yet traditional lengha designed by AsoPalav after being fully glamorized by Payal Patel. And we cannot stress how much we love every bit of her elegant and glamorous look. It is both bewitching and inspiring! After the wedding ceremony, it was time to celebrate this life milestone with a spectacular reception party. All guests danced the night away to the beats of Volcanik Entertainment and tasted the delicious culinary experience prepared by Moghul. And let's not forget about the sweet treats from Federal Donuts, who designed a 5-story donut cake. Simply amazing! Hands down, this was the dream wedding Krupa & Matthew always wanted, and this could not have been possible without DiSalvo Events, who coordinated every segment of the big day down to the smallest detail. So big kudos to them! For more amazing shots of this enchanting wedding celebration, don't miss the awesome photos captured by Maria DeForrest Photography. We've compiled them all in today's full gallery, so make sure to check it out! It will take your breath away!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Matt and I met out in Philadelphia one night 9+ years ago! We were both out with friends and happened to hit it off. Right after we met, he moved to Washington D.C. and we were long distance for 6 years. We both knew early on that this was something special and worth making the 3 hour drive to see each other every weekend.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
We had rented a beach house in Cape May with a large group of friends. I had a feeling it may be coming that weekend but the whole weekend went by and  no proposal! I was ready to go home on Sunday afternoon when he wanted to take a walk before we left. As we walked along Congress Hall, noticed one of his friends hiding around the corner and suddenly I realized Matt's hand was shaking in my own. I knew this was the moment, and realized i was holding a PLASTIC WATER BOTTLE! I proceeded to throw it to the side (don't worry I picked it up afterwards) and braced myself for the moment. He got down on one knee and asked the question 7 years in the making.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
The whole process kind of came together rather quickly. The venue was the first on the list, trying to find a place that would fit our 300 guests for multiple days and not break the bank. The Chase Center on the Riverfront was actually not far from where I work, which is why it made the list of places to check out. Once we visited we were sold not only on the hospitality of the event coordinators but the blank canvas it presented us. All of our vendors were phenomenal to work with and were familiar with the venue. This ended up being a huge plus for us, when all the vendors have been to the venue before and know how best to set up your events.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
I really wanted a white lengha and I went to India with that thought in mind. I made the journey to Asopalav, like so many brides before me about 5 hours after I landed that morning. While sharing my version with the associate in the store, letting them know I was looking for an all white lengha. You could hear my mom in the background saying "why not one with a red dupatta or a little red in the outfit?". I figured this may be a future battle I would have to fight but when I tried on the first outfit (the one I ended up picking) I knew it was the one. Of course this is India, I did not travel 21+ hours to buy the first outfit I tried on. We persuaded them to hold it for us until the end of the day and went to try on outfits elsewhere. By the end of the day even my mom agreed it was perfect.

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
My favorite part was the outfits! It was especially fun buying outfits for my husbands family.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I think the biggest hit of the wedding was the venue! The Chase Center was so large and accommodating that it allowed us to have each event in a different room and not have our guests feel cramped or lacking in space. The hotel attached was an added bonus for a November wedding. It allowed guests to move between locations without having to venture outside.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Its funny but for me it was the Baraat (and I wasn't even there)! I loved seeing all the pictures from procession and and Matt was so surprised when the mascot came out. My family also did a great job showing his friends and family how to have a great time at the Baraat!

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
The Sangeet was probably my favorite event overall. We wanted to have a fun welcome party vibe during the traditional event, no stage just high tops and plenty of food and drinks for the guests. It was so amazing to see the families interacting so freely. From learning how to garba or play raas to his family surprising everyone with a performance. It really set the stage for the rest of the weekend.

One of my other favorite things I did was plan mini meals for the immediate family. Before the sangeet we had private room where we could sample all of the dishes of the night. This was a great opportunity not only for us but our siblings and parents to relax and more importantly eat! We could spend the rest of the night mingling and enjoying the event.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Its hard to say dont stress. You will stress, especially if you go the traditional wedding route (there are too many people and events not too). But know that at the end of the day everyone is there for you and your husband. Try to sneak moments for the two of you to just take it all in.

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
We actually had a donut cake from a Philly favorite donut spot. It was such a hit! They arranged it on tiered platform to look like a cake and even had a donut tasting for us beforehand. We actually only had a couple of donuts left that night.

All of our personal flowers were done at a local grocery store (Wegmans). It was a great way for us to save some money and we were able to order bulk flowers from them and Costco for the various events.

What a great way to start the week, isn't it ladies? Don't forget to join us tomorrow for a new story!

She burst into the room wearing a gorgeous red lengha and looking like royalty after been pampered by Cleveland Makeup Artist. Serbia, Turkey & India Indian Fusion Wedding by CineLove

Happy Monday, beauty queens! A full weekend without your company feels like an eternity, but we are so excited to be back so we can continue sharing our passion for fantastic wedding celebrations! And today's featured wedding is nothing less than spectacular. It is so unique and filled with surprises that we can firmly say that this is unlike any other wedding that we have witnessed in quite a while. For starters, Bobana & Ansh's fairytale had three different destinations: Serbia, Turkey, and India. How amazing is that! Every event of this wedding was mesmerizing as breathtaking, and we find ourselves lost of words to describe the jaw-dropping attires and the swoon-worthy set-ups conceptualized and styled by none other than Meha Bhargava of Styl.Inc. The celebrations started with a heavenly Christian ceremony in Belgrade Serbia, which is Bobana's hometown. And oh boy, this opening ceremony was to die for! From the captivating decor crafted by Svadbena zvona to the ravishing look of our gorgeous couple, everything was amazing! The festivities continued in Antalya, Turkey, where they had a 3-day long, Indian wedding. A colorful Haldi, a fun-loving Mehndi, and a vibrant Sangeet were just the preamble for the full-traditional Indian wedding ceremony held at the Titanic Mardan Palace. This paradisiacal venue, which combines traditional architecture and a soothing natural environment, added an extra touch of uniqueness to this event, becoming the perfect backdrop for these lovebirds to profess their love and commitment to each other. The wedding festivities concluded with an unforgettable reception held at the Mor Bagh - New Delhi, where All in Organization & Events took care of the decor, and Manish Puri enlivened every moment with upbeat melodies. Hands down, Bobana & Ansh's had the wedding of their dreams! And this could not have been possible without a highly talented and experienced team like the one Bobana & Ansh's had by their side. So big kudos to Chapter 2 Events for the on-point planning and execution, Anjie Gogna for the ravishing look created for our gorgeous Maharani and CineLove for the marvelous shots that made this feature possible! Visit today's gallery for a full revel of this wedding!
