Temecula, CA Indian Fusion Wedding by Lin & Jirsa Photography

My beloved Maharanis! Another magical Friday comes to us, along with a new beautiful story. An Indian fusion wedding featuring a gorgeous couple, Sneha & Charles. Where did this celebration of love take place, you may ask. Well, I will tell you everything you need to know about this enchanting event. Our couple decided to say "I do" at the South Coast Winery. This venue is the perfect backdrop for your dream wine country wedding. Let me tell you, my dears; I applaud the choice they made! Don't you think this venue translates to greatness? I do! The Marigold Company planned every detail of this magnificent event; I know the technologically advanced tools this team offers inspired our lovebirds! They had the time of their life! Every part of the wedding went beyond splendid thanks to the delicate décor The Poppy Studio put together. This studio made sure to create a flowery and luxurious ambiance exclusively for this charming Maharani and the handsome Groom. The officiant, Ceremonies by Bethel, made Sneha & Charles' ceremony a unique one! I know everyone will remember this wedding forever. Let me tell you about the entertainment. Fusion Sounds made everyone dance, sing, and celebrate the new beginning of the bride and groom as husband and wife. You can tell by the guests' look that they were proud to see how much in love our couple is. Along with the dancing and celebration came the sweetness Susie's Cakes prepared. Special treats that made this experience even more irresistible. My dears, Lovelit Films, produced a blockbuster film. And thanks to Lin & Jirsa Photography, an inspirational gallery is available for you to fall in love with this special event. So wait no more and get ready to dive into this real-life fairytale. I'm sure you'll love it!

My lovely Maharanis, Wednesday is here, and with it, a film that will bring back sweet memories from a magnificent event, Claire & Ritam's wedding. A match made in heaven! As you may recall, this lovely couple decided to say I do in a breathtaking venue, The Merion. A place where their elegant décor makes every event feels like royalty. Elegant Events Planning & Design put together the most outstanding ambiance to ensure every guest felt like they were in a fairy tale. Maharanis, every detail went beyond ideal thanks to House of Catherine and Petals Lane. These two teams embellished the salon with unique details, beautiful flowers, and spectacular colors. Trust me, Claire & Ritam's happiness is more than noticeable! I think we all can agree that this event was remarkable! Why don't we talk about the beauty of our gorgeous Claire? LadyChebli Beauty Bar did the makeup for our Maharani, and she looked natural yet elegant, classy yet sweet. She was just stunning! Remember, with delicate makeup comes a magnificent gown. Mari Mi Bridal knows this, and their priority is to create an experience and make you say "I do" to the perfect dress, so they did with Claire's wedding gown! But that is not all my queens; Mehndikalogie designed an exclusive Mehndi art that took everyone's attention to the lovely bride! You know dancing at a wedding is a must-do! DJ Sunny Entertainment got everyone to the dancefloor. I am sure this was a night to remember! And the best news is here! PhotosMadeEz captured every detail of this enchanting celebration, along with the love, happiness, and these two beautiful souls getting together for life! They have shared the blockbuster film below for our delight. Click the play button, and get ready to relive this fairytale.

That is all for today, my favorite Maharanis! See you tomorrow for another love story!

Hillburn, NY Indian Fusion Wedding by Andrew Bisdale Photography

Monday is a beautiful day full of brand new stories. And today, Maharanis, I want to share an extraordinary love story featuring Shail & Patrick's wedding. This young couple decided to say "I do" at a unique place, The Views at Mount Fuji. A place where the landscapes will take your breath away! Along with a memorable venue comes stunning decoration. Petals and Stems and Flowers by Banhu knew exactly what the couple needed to have the wedding of their dreams. I adore how elegant and cozy this celebration was! Thanks to an unbelievably professional wedding planner, Kim Caputo, every detail of this wedding went off perfectly! And we know that no celebration is complete without music! So big kudos to Tom Catucci Events for transforming Shail & Patrick's wedding celebration into a fantastic party with his endless repertoire! My beloved queens, the best part of today's love story is the beauty of our Maharani. Yaminimakeupstudio did a mesmerizing hair & makeup job, beautifully complementing Shail's fashion choices, making her look like Royalty! I think we all can agree that this couple is full of blessings, beauty, and love! Andrew Bisdale Photography captured beautiful moments for the bride and groom to relive forever! And you can get a boost of inspiration by checking out this fantastic gallery we have put together especially for you. You will be amazed!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Our story began unexpectedly in 2014. It was during the holidays season which at the time meant going out to the bar and have a good time with friends. We were those people that participated in Santa Con (regrettably). The silver lining of that evening was meeting each other.
We went out for our first date was at the Yard House after going to the movies. After that night we were in pretty much inseparable. Later that year we went on our first vacation to the Bahamas and that was the first time we said I Love You to each other.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
2019 while on a trip to Colorado Patrick had a plan to ask the big question. He had been planning this for weeks. Sneaking around to buy a ring and consulting with coworkers and friends on how he should do it. At last one night while at the Hotel we took a walk around the grounds together and stopped at the Alice in Wonderland themed mini golf course were a popped the question and I said YES!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
When picking our wedding venue both my husband and I wanted to maintain a certain budget, ( since we all know how pricy weddings can get). We kept throwing around the idea of getting married at a restaurant. We began doing our research when my husband threw out the ide of Mt. Fuji in hillburn NY. We did a quick google search and to our surprise they actually had an entire part of the restaurant that was dedicated to doing weddings called "The Views at Mt. Fuji". Soon after we took a tour and we both instantly knew we loved it. Kim Caputo, the head of catering was extremely helpful and was there every step of the way to help plan our big day.

For our theme I knew I wanted to do some sort of Indian and Western fusion wedding. Did some research on google for local florists near the venue and coincidently came across Petals and Stems. They had such beautiful pictures and reviews I immediately sent them an email. A few days later I get a call from Lenny the owner of the shop. We get to chatting about the wedding and he tells me that he use to be the house florist at Mt. Fuji years ago. After hearing that and meeting Lenny I knew it was the perfect fit. He did such an excellent job with all the center pieces and accent pieces. In addition to Petals and Stems I also wanted to reach out to an traditional Indian florist for the wedding Indian Wedding Garlands. I was able to use Flowers by Bahnu located in Jackson Heights Queens. She specializes in Indian Wedding flowers and did an amazing job.

When it came to hair and make up I went to one of my local Indian owned salons - AR Beauty Studio Inc. At the time I was looking for a Henna artist and saw they offered Henna services. I was able to talk to the ladies there and they indicated they also do hair and make up. Sana and her sisters have been doing bridal hair and make up for a few years and did an excellent job with my brides maids and family.

For my Bridal hair and make up I ended up using Yamini Patil. I ended up finding her on Facebook and DMing her after looking at her page. She responded so quickly and was kind enough to give me a quick call and run me through everything she provided and showed me pictures of her work. Later we were able to get together and do make up trial and it came out so AMAZING. I was so happy and impressed with her work. The day of the wedding Yamini made me look so beautiful and I got so many compliments. Her knowledge and experience really showed and was extremely helpful during the day of. She brought fresh flowers for my hair and even gave my photographer some excellent ideas for the getting ready shots.

When it came to getting a photographer we asked one of our friend Andrew Bisdale. We had both seen his pictures before and really liked them. Andy was super nice, professional and easy to work with and his photos came out beautiful! Some of my favorite pictures were the candid shots he took. He was able to capture essence of the night in photos

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part of the planning process was getting to really learn more about the Indian wedding traditions. I enjoyed being able to learn more about my culture and it was also sort of a bonding time between me and my mom as we planned the wedding.

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
At our wedding everyone had wonderful things to say about our wedding ceremony. We went with a semi-tradition Indian Arya Samaj ceremony. We had wedding programs for the guests to follow along and the Pundit did an excellent job of explaining the significance behind each ritual while adding a little humor.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
If I had anything to say to Brides to Be it would be something one of my married friends told me. Go in with no expectation. You can try to plan everything down to the last detail but on the day of not one of your guests will notice. Everyone is there to celebrate you and your partner on the happiest day and will completely over look if the centerpieces are not just right or if the favors didn't exactly turn out as planned.

My beloved Maharanis that is all for today! Come back tomorrow for more love stories.

Woodbridge, NJ Indian Fusion Wedding by Studio KSD

Hello, beautiful Maharanis! Do you know what day today is? Today is Friday, the perfect day to say I do and fall in love with an Indian Fusion love story! Stephanie & Paul are a gorgeous couple who decided to join their lives together at the St. James Catholic Church, followed by a grand reception party at The Grand Marquis, a place where your dreams come to life. The reception overflowed with the most delightful decoration; the bride and groom were amazed to see the fairy tail Florista Decor put together exclusively for them. Every detail went off flawlessly thanks to the magnificent planning of Jessy J. Events. I adore this celebration of love! Now, let me tell you about the beautiful attires our lovely Maharani wore. Kleinfeld Bridal and Hayley Paige dressed up Stephanie with exclusive designs that made her look like a real queen! But that is not all! Rebecca Lee Artistry and Pashka Gjinaj created spectacular hair and makeup designs that praised this Maharani's innate beauty. And I think we can all agree that she looked breathtaking! No wonder why Paul chose our Maharani to be his companion for the rest of his life! The romance was all over the place, and to put a musical touch to this event; our lovebirds decided to call D&S Event Solutions. They know how to animate a wedding festivity glamorously! And in case you were wondering who is the mastermind behind the breathtaking shots that we are sharing with you today, it is no other than the highly talented team from Studio KSD who went above and beyond on every photograph they captured during this love story! How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
I knew he was "the one" when his flight got cancelled and he drove 10 hours from NYC to Detroit to surprise me for my birthday!

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Our wedding was originally scheduled for May 23-May 24, 2020, but we decided to postpone about a month before due to the pandemic. We luckily were able to get our venue deposit back which gave us more flexibility in choosing a new date for 2021. We didn't finalize our new date & venue until February 2021, but somehow we managed to realign every single one of our original vendors for our new dates on June 12-June13, 2021 with a new venue we loved even more. It was the wait worth it.

How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Wedding dress: I always knew I wanted a dress with a full skirt/ballgown because when else in life would I get a chance to wear something like that and feel like a princess?! had the opportunity to meet one of my favorite designers, Hayley Paige, during my appointment at Kleinfeld. I worked with Hayley to mix & match two of her gowns and said was lucky to have four of my best friends and my sister by my side while I said "Yes!" to my own custom wedding dress.
Top: HP "Tulua" gown (low scoop back, crystal bodice, scalloped jewel halter neckline)
Bottom: HP "Dare" gown (Ivory draped organza cascading skirt)

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Not going to lie, all the uncertainty of COVID made the planning process very stressful. Postponing meant we had 2 & 1/2 year engagement period. But the best part of being a bride-to-be was all my friends and family were extra nice to me ;)

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Our venues & the food! Our cocktail hour at the Grand Marquis, NJ had amazing stations. Our DJ was great and everyone danced away two nights in a row

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The first thing Paul said to me when I walked down the aisle was "I love your dress" with a big smile on his face. All my nerves for the day went away.

For events other than your ceremony, please tell us as much as you would like about the decor, style, dances, and all the special details.
For our pre-wedding night we had a combined Mylanchi & Chantham Charth event at the Neel Kamal hall Royal Alberts palace. The hall's pre-set decor around the walls made it really feel like an Indian palace. I worked with FloristaDecor and designed the stage to feel like we were sitting in a palace garden. My family's color theme was lime green & Paul's family color theme was lavender. I designed my two lenghas at Milan Design-Kochi. Both of our families had their own grand entrance with song and dance. Paul and I came out on a floral decorated bicycle rikshaw (by FloristaDecor) while he pedaled to "Mere Sapno Ki Rani".

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Take professional dance lessons for your first dance! My husband was a little reluctant at first, but we both had so much fun at Fred Astaire Dance Studios-Midtown. We only took 5 lessons but each session was a much-needed break from all the wedding stress and left us feeling happier and closer to each other.

Our First Dance Song: Speechless - Dan & Shay

Anything else you want to tell us? We'd love to hear all about your other details! (jewelry, mehndi, venue, cake, bouquets, etc.)
My engagement ring is rose gold (LaurenB Jeweler) and I really wanted to have a rose gold thali (minnu) to match also. I've never seen one in rose gold before, so we went shopping in India hoping to find it, but jewelers only had yellow gold and white gold ones available. So we had a rose gold "Knanaya minnu" custom made in India by Josco Jewelers. They said it was the first one ever to be made in the country! (now they have the mold for future brides looking for rose gold)

My Mehndi on one hand included the Philly "Love" sign - from where my husband and I had our first date & first picture together.

That is all for today, my beloved Maharanis! See you next week with more love stories!
