Queens, NY Indian Wedding by by MaxPhoto NY

Before Sarojanie and Kamal say their I do's a second time in a America-style ceremony they meet up with MaxPhoto NY for a first look photo. Our Maharani is quite the stunner in her white wedding dress holding a bouquet courtesy of House of Dipali. The makeup by GlowZee is full of cool tones with a muted, matte lip, and I am loving her elegant updo! She is joined by her adorable bridesmaid who are all covered in slight variations of champagne-colored gowns. I am sure you are bitting your nails waiting to see what comes next so in the meantime check out the gallery for hair and makeup tips for your big day

Garden City, NY Indian Wedding by Gio Photography & Video

Today, we have got a luxurious Indian wedding affair for all our darling Maharanis to gush over! This one comes to us from the planning and design gurus from Touch of Elegance Event Planners and it takes place in Garden City, New York. Gio Photography & Video is going to start things off for us with a sneak peek at the bride and groom getting ready for their big day. Hair and makeup artist, Heena Das Beauty, beautifies Nisha in bold eye makeup and a bright, matted red lip color. The hair is neatly swept up into a glamorous updo which sets the perfect foundation for her double strand maang tikka. As for the groom, Ashwin looks cool and collected as he buttons up his ivory and gold-colored sherwani, and he's all business once the pagri comes on! Stay with us because Design House Decor will be showcasing their floral and decor talents at the ceremony and reception, but until then, check out Nisha's lovely sari in the gallery!

From the bride, on the reception fashion:

"I chose my reception lengha in India when shopping in Bangalore with my cousins, aunt and mom. We looked at a bunch of stores and nothing was jumping out at me. I originally was thinking something with some soft pinks, golds, and creams. I wanted to say away from hot pink since much of my other outfits had that color! I was getting worried I would find what I wanted. I really wanted a lot of bling and kundun work, since my morning wedding outfits were much more traditional. At the very last store we went to before going home, we found THE ONE. It was on a manican in the bridal floor of the store. It was draped so beautifully and looked just exquisite. The lengha is coral/pink with gold and cream and lots of work - exactly what I wanted! The coral was a different color than the original 'soft pink' I had wanted, but was so different and beautiful i just knew it was the perfect offset. It was really fun shopping with my family in India to pick out this gorgeous outfit."

On the first dance:

"Ever since we met, we loved the song 'Cinema,' by Benny Benassi. Rohan always sings to me that I am his Cinema. It was too fast of a song for our first dance, so we found an acoustic version on Youtube to play as our first dance."

See ya next time, gals!
