Happy Monday, Maharanis! I am so excited to present this feature photographed by the wonderful team at RANDERYimagery! As this beautiful couple prepares for their big day, with our bride in the capable and fabulous hands of Dolled up by LuLu, we are invited to take in all the incredible details, from our Maharani's gleaming hot pink heels to her shimmering ruby tikka. Would ya just look at those shiny, dazzling jewels! With a sea of people ready to cheer, the horse-drawn carriage parades down the street for the baraat decorated in bright flowers. I love that shot! More from the bride: "So many brides don't get to see too much of the baraat or only get to catch a glimpse. Thanks to the the set-up of the venue, I was able to watch the entire baraat dance their way in from a rotunda—I loved seeing the look on everyone's face when they saw me watching. Prob one of my favorite moments because I didn't feel like I missed a thing. :)"

I'm so so excited to share this special ceremony story with you! This is no ordinary event, Maharanis. While at first we think everything is going according to tradition, with our bride looking like a dream thanks to Dolled up by LuLu, and a stunning venue with rich red fabrics, there is a sudden twist! This Maharani thinks she is walking down the aisle to meet her beloved under the mandap but instead...there's a flash mob. Oh yeah, that's right... A FLASH MOB! At the wedding! Well, we are totally impressed here at MW HQ! Oh and I just love the scattered red petals and bunches of roses suspended in the backdrop. The teams at Planning Elegance and Ethnic Essence Couture Events do such a stellar job at creating a grand mood for this joyous occasion. More from the bride: "The Harlem Garba was definitely a highlight! My brother was the genius behind it and essentially, in the middle of our actual wedding ceremony, family and friends from both sides surprised us with a flash mob dance—their own rendition of the Harlem Shake with an Indian twist of course—complete with masks, dora balloons, push ups, and more. Yeah, that's right, this happened DURING the wedding ceremony and we had no idea—lots of crazy things happen during Indian weddings, but both Vinay and I and the guests had never seen anything like this and were amazed. We literally had to watch the video like a 100 times and every single time, we were like 'how did they even do this?!'"

This reception is so, so, so CHIC. I love that they opted for palm trees and succulents because they create a fabulous tropical ambiance. This fresh take on decor not only cuts costs but adds a bit of paradise! A big round of applause to Ethnic Essence Couture Events! I love the hair change that Dolled up by LuLu creates for the big party: natural and curly and embellished with a delicate flower. 3D Sounds does a stellar job with the lighting; it looks perfect! You know what else is super cool? They use eco-friendly and disposable reception plates. Way to go! Thank you Planning Elegance for putting together this awesome reception, and thank you RANDERYimagery for bringing it to us! This wedding is full of innovative and new ideas! Sweetheart Sunday Winners ~ Anokhi and Amit

Sweetheart Sunday is here, Maharanis, and true love is in full force! I absolutely adore these glowing engagement images from William Bichara Photography; they're super romantic and totally filled with emotion. Just look at bride-to-be Anokhi's misty, twinkling eyes as she holds her Raja tight! That is a face that says, "I have found my happily ever after." Her wispy emerald dress is perfect for this bright afternoon and groom Amit is cool and casual in a button-down with jeans. They are simply too cute! And there's such a classic elegance about black-and-white portraits that elevates simple photos to pure sophistication. I can't wait until the big day is here and we get to see this sweet duo officially tie the knot. Until then, you'll find me in the gallery!
