Following their pink Indian wedding ceremony, Maharani Shelly and groom Sheal are ready to cool things down with a chic ballroom reception. Our Indian bride changes out of her hot pink wedding lengha for a gold gown that features flower appliques and tons of tulle -- so feminine! Yazy Jo takes us into the stylish affair planned by Yanni Design Studio at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa. I adore all the creative wedding decor, especially those long stemmed martini glasses as flower vases!
Congratulations to Shelly and Sheal!
Maharanis, make sure you come back tomorrow for more Indian wedding inspiration!

Hey, hey Maharanis! It's our favorite day of the week at Maharani Weddings HQ: Filmy Friday! It's the only day we get to show you fab Indian weddings in motion, and I am thrilled to get started today.
First up: a Sikh Indian wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida. This video from WalkOnWater Productions can be summed up in two words: 1) sparkle; 2) shine! The outdoor Indian wedding ceremony starts with a Cinderella-esque baraat with a horse-drawn carriage strewn with red flowers from Occasions by Shangri-la. I love the Maharani's bridal wedding lenghas for her ceremony and reception: both are heavily encrusted with sparkly gems and looks like they weigh a million pounds -- who said it was easy work being a Maharani?
A big thumbs up to Indian wedding vendor Indaglow Productions who handled the beautiful lighting at their modern reception, and the DJ and entertainment!
Another Indian wedding film headed your way!
1) Our Indian bridesmaids in matching beautiful purple saris with gold cholis;
2) The Maharani's blingin' bridal jewelry set. I am in lust over her haath phool set and necklace!
3) The gorgeous view from Indian wedding venue, The Lighthouse. You are practically on the Hudson River!
More eye candy coming up next!
