Chic Indian Wedding Reception In Gold And Purple by Yazy Jo, Itasca, Illinois

Following their pink Indian wedding ceremony, Maharani Shelly and groom Sheal are ready to cool things down with a chic ballroom reception. Our Indian bride changes out of her hot pink wedding lengha for a gold gown that features flower appliques and tons of tulle -- so feminine! Yazy Jo takes us into the stylish affair planned by Yanni Design Studio at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa. I adore all the creative wedding decor, especially those long stemmed martini glasses as flower vases!

Sparkling Sikh Indian Wedding Film by WalkOnWater Productions, Orlando, Florida

Hey, hey Maharanis! It's our favorite day of the week at Maharani Weddings HQ: Filmy Friday! It's the only day we get to show you fab Indian weddings in motion, and I am thrilled to get started today.
First up: a Sikh Indian wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida. This video from WalkOnWater Productions can be summed up in two words: 1) sparkle; 2) shine! The outdoor Indian wedding ceremony starts with a Cinderella-esque baraat with a horse-drawn carriage strewn with red flowers from Occasions by Shangri-la. I love the Maharani's bridal wedding lenghas for her ceremony and reception: both are heavily encrusted with sparkly gems and looks like they weigh a million pounds -- who said it was easy work being a Maharani?

A big thumbs up to Indian wedding vendor Indaglow Productions who handled the beautiful lighting at their modern reception, and the DJ and entertainment!
Another Indian wedding film headed your way!

Stylish Fusion Indian Wedding Ceremony + Reception Film by NewYorkFilmworks, New York City

For this next Indian wedding video, we have a cool fusion number coming at you. It's no surprise this film from NewYorkFilmworks takes place in the Big Apple: it is just so darn modern and sophisticated! Here are some things to check-off while watching this film:
1) Our Indian bridesmaids in matching beautiful purple saris with gold cholis;
2) The Maharani's blingin' bridal jewelry set. I am in lust over her haath phool set and necklace!
3) The gorgeous view from Indian wedding venue, The Lighthouse. You are practically on the Hudson River!

More eye candy coming up next!

Cheerful Indian Wedding Film + Baraat by Dave Justo Productions, Philadelphia, PA

For our final Indian wedding video, Dave Justo Productions takes us to a blessed affair in Philadelphia, PA. We join the Indian wedding videographers to meet Maharani Lisa and groom Mayank on their big day. The film takes us from the bridal mehndi party to an Indian wedding ceremony and reception at the Atrium at The Curtis Center. Aside from providing a beautiful Indian wedding venue, Curtis Center plans the beautiful event, which includes a lively baraat with a whole lot of random spectators -- so fun! Make sure to check out the bridesmaids' saris, also: matching orchid colored cholis with patterned skirts!

If you missed any of the Indian wedding loveliness this week, here are a few of my favorite posts:

Indian Bridal Hair And Makeup + Baraat by Photographick Studios, Baltimore, Maryland

Good morning, Maharanis! Today we head to Baltimore for another gorgeous Indian wedding -- are you ready? Photographick Studios takes us into Hilton Baltimore to meet our lovely bride Reena. Makeup by Mala beautifies the Maharani with a sweep of bronze shadow over her lids and applies bindis over her eyes. Meanwhile, groom Aakash approaches the venue on a white horse to claim his bride. I love the shots with the wedding guests in their bright saris -- so festive!
