The blue and violet floral arrangements are beautiful against a white and gold backdrop. MPW Media Group catches up with our dashing duo during their first dance. Throughout all the moving and grooving, Reeta's Mystique Bridal Studio makes sure that Payal's hair and makeup stays fresh and in place! The night concluded with lively performances, emotional toasts and of course, a decadent four-tier dessert courtesy of Palermo's Custom Cakes & Bakery! Sophisticated elegance are the words that come to mind when seeing Vicki and Kishan's Indian wedding reception at Addison Park in Aberdeen, New Jersey! A pretty-in-pink sweetheart stage graces the ballroom with all the coral floral fixins, courtesy of Design House Decor. I love the added detail of the floral cushions which gives the stage a romantic, bridal touch! Events Capture shows us all the entertaining highlights from the choreographed performances to the first dance. DJ Insomnia of Premier Entertainment brought the booming beats and Aashirwad Palace served up a mouthwatering feast. And for dessert, Alfonso's Pastry Shoppe designed a precious four-tier wedding cake with hilarious cake-toppers! Hats off to RB Event Design for planning a magnificent affair which you can see all of in the gallery!

From the bride, on the catering:

"I think the most difficult but fun process was to find unique ways to inject ourselves into a hectic day. We used the food and décor to really show our friends and family what are our personalities are like. We worked closely with our caterer, Sankalp Gupta of Aashirwad Palace to reinvent Indian dishes and fuse it with some of our favorite things, i.e. spicy chipotle chicken waffles with apple Indian chutney."

On the first dance:

"All my life, by KC and Jojo, and All of me, by John Legend. I had always loved All of my life ever since I was a little girl and knew that if I were to get married it would be my wedding song but we also wanted something upbeat so we used the birthday remix of All of me. My husband is not a dancer so we hired a choreographer to help us come up with something that Kishan can keep up with."

Welcome to Nisha and Neel's modern and sleek Indian wedding reception at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Virginia. Dharma Events decorates the room with contemporary-style centerpieces and a picture-perfect sweetheart stage. Minimalistic and elegant are the two words that come to mind when examining every stunning detail! Mari Harsan Studios catches up with our newlyweds on the floor dancing to the beats of Planet DJ Productions under the colorful lights of Planet DJ Event Lighting. In between toasts and performances, guests were treated to a delightful meal courtesy of IndAroma, and for dessert, a delicious four-tier cake by Edibles Incredible. Hats off to Dream Shaadi for planning all the magnificent details, which you can see all of in the gallery!

From the bride, on a special moment:

"The time after the wedding (before the reception), after Neel and I had changed into our reception attire and the photographers went downstairs to join the event. Neel and I sat in chairs about 10ft apart and just closed our eyes. We didn't say one word to each other but just sat in complete silence. It doesn't sound all that magical, but it felt completely magical. It was the first time Neel and I were alone in days. It all began to feel real that we were finally going to spend the rest of our lives together."

On the first dance:

"We entirely forget how or when "We Found Love" by Rihanna became "our" song. But through the years of dating, we would constantly Snapchat or texted one another when we heard it. We even had some friends and family snapchat or text us the song reminding us of our relationship. Of course the song is more of an upbeat and not a typical first dance song. We consulted with Aditya Rao, who would be singing our first dance song live. He assured us that he would be able to sing a slower version of it. It was definitely magical, Aditya put on a show."

Welcome to Nimisha and Vimal's fun-filled Indian wedding reception at the The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village in New Jersey! Every detail from the sweetheart stage to the design of the wedding cake illustrates modern elegance! Charmi Pena Photography captures our newlyweds as they make their grand entrance in style! This cool couple kept their friends and family entertained with lively performances and great music by Raaz Entertainment! And to make sure the guests' appetites were more than satisfied, Moghul Caterers served up a fine dining experience! Hats off to RB Event Design for planning such a lavish affair which you can see all of in the gallery!

From the bride, on the reception theme:

"Our reception had a movie theme. We had a red carpet walk, step & repeat, fun signs and a popcorn bar. Instead of doing traditional table numbers for seating, we had recreated scenes from famous romantic movies. Vimal was a truly a trooper and played the part of every male protagonist I'd grown up watching on the big screen. Halfway through the night, the crowd got to see the Feature Presentation - our same day edit! It was simply a magical evening."

On the first dance:

"We wanted something classic that we would hear in the future. That way if we heard it, we'd immediately dance to it together. We chose John Legend's "All of Me." It's such a beautiful song that John himself wrote for his wife Chrissy Tiegen. The song is about really loving someone at their best and worst. The lyrics describe how the lover speaks in riddles and rhymes but makes this person melt. I think a lot of couples can relate to that. They speak their own language that only the two of them understand. To anyone else it might not make sense, but together they're perfect."

On family and friends helping:

"What really helped with the process was going to the Vets themselves; former brides that had good experiences.  I chose all my vendors right from my closest friends and family. I gained a real kinship with some of my vendors.  Charmi, was not only my photographer but a sincere friend that I was able to bounce my crazy ideas off of through the process. I'd call her every day!!! Reema of RB Events was so caring and listened to my needs; she cared about creating a unique wedding just as much as I did. Each side of the family really took time to add to our events. My parents, sister and her husband ran around the tri-state to all our vendors on behalf of us. The wedding wouldn't be possible without them. My mom put a lot of detail into decorating our house to match my outfits as well as make the wedding ceremony very unique. At the reception, my side did a fun family dance to "Mahi Ve" which highlighted the lyrics "Everyone say Soni, Soni". Vimal's mom is a jeweler so she customized a beautiful mangal sutra for me and picked out delicate silver anklets. Vimal's brother gave a speech that left the crowd howling with laughter and Vimal's sister coordinated a dance that told the story of Vimal's life through his favorite songs starting with George Michael's "Careless Whisper" and ending with Vimal jumping off the stage and also joining them in "Mahi Ve" as a surprise for me. Everyone was truly involved."

Additional thoughts:

"The wedding was detailed to a T! I loved using my imagination to really provide a romantic but thoughtful evening. I like to think of myself as positively particular. I put myself into the shoes of my guests as best I could. Some fun things I'd included were flip flops once the fast dancing began, sriracha & Tums with signs that said "hot & not" at the buffet and toothpicks and hand wipes with my sticky appetizers. We had signature drinks which included a fall apple sangria and ginger beer. The night ended with scrumptious spiced cinnamon and pumpkin cupcakes. It all tied together to reflect some part of our relationship."
