Orlando, FL Indian Wedding by Amita S. Photography

The Hilton Orlando is no stranger to extraordinary events, but we're pretty sure even they haven't seen an Indian wedding reception like today's, planned to party perfection by Envi Event Planning and DJ'd to delight partygoers by WeGoDiscoAmita S. Photography captured the exquisite highlights from Aarti and Kuna's post-ceremony soirée, where the venue space was unbelievably decorated by Occasions by Shangri-la! From the centerpieces that could pass as works in the sculpture wing of a contemporary art museum, to the hundreds (maybe even thousands?) of twinkling tea lights that flooded the space fabulously and added an extra dose of romance to the evening, every detail was beyond brilliant. Today's Indian bride turned heads in a peach and champagne gown that moved beautifully to the music on the dance floor, and her brand new hubby dressed to impress in a midnight blue tux. If you're still looking for more of the exclusive details from Aarti and Kunal's Indian wedding wonder in Orlando, you can find all the Pinnable inspiration you can handle in the complete gallery and relive the most spectacular highlights in their wedding film by Fandango Studios!

Tulsa, OK Indian Wedding by Morgan Lynn Photography

Brace yourselves, Maharanis, because Morgan Lynn Photography is about to blow you out of the water with an exclusive look into Shikha and Ameet's luxurious, Indian wedding reception at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center, where DJ Riz Entertainment turned up the dial on an already unforgettable evening. Sobi Qazi Design House has delivered detail after detail of perfectly planned Desi wedding delights, and this post-ceremony soirée decked out by the floral and decor experts at Prashe Decor is the absolute icing on the cake (oh, yeah, and the actual wedding cake by Icing On The Top is bananas!). Today's Indian bride dazzled on the dance floor in a pink reception lengha with all-over gold sequins, while her brand new hubby mastered his Maharaja style in a black suit and complementing tie! The newlyweds' sweetheart table was incredibly decorated, as was every single table top in the venue. We'll be talking about this one for a while, my wedding-lovin' friends! Let's continue the conversation right now in the complete gallery!

Maharani Shikha, on what she enjoyed most about planning her Desi dream wedding:

"I think the best part was the outfits. I love how Indian weddings are so long with so many events and loved that I got to pick different styles and themes for the different events. I also didn't mind the cake and food tasting!"

On shopping for her reception lengha:

"My reception lengha was my absolute favorite. It was designed by Sabyasachi. I picked out and ordered the lengha in Hyderabad and took it back to the Delhi boutique for some alterations where I got to meet Sabyasachi Mukherjee himself. It was such an awesome experience! The lengha really tied into my theme with a blush pink ombre skirt with a subtle burgundy floral pattern and plenty of gold sparkle!"

On her most magical wedding moments:

"Everything was perfect! It's so hard to pick one moment. One of the best moments was during our first dance. At the end we had indoor pyrotechnics (which I planned as a surprise for Ameet and the guests). It was very magical! The father-daughter dance had a surprise bhangra ending. Also our dance floor was so energetic and fun and we had a surprise confetti drop for the guests which everyone really enjoyed. Another standout detail was our floor plan which included the placement of the bar right in front of the dance floor. I really wanted the main areas for people to be very central and together which is why I put the dessert tables in the back center and then had the bar just by the dance floor. Several people said that was genius so they didnt have to go far to get a drink and the dance floor was packed all night long!"

On her and Ameet's first dance:

We danced to Etta James "At Last" which has always been a special song for us. One of my close friends sang it live during our dance which made it even more special!"

On the role her family and friends played:

For dessert we had two large display tables with an assortment of SEVERAL different desserts. I have a sweet tooth and always like to have tons of different things to choose from. One of our friends handmade 300 cake pops which color coordinated with our theme. Our friends helped us make specialty cocktails and cute specialty cocktail signs displaying the nakes and description: the redbull rao, the shikhatini, and the Oklahoma sunrise. My sister made a very special slideshow video which all the guests enjoyed at the reception. Ameet's dog made a special appearance at the reception when the families were being introduced!"

On her wedding cake:

"The cake was made by Icing on the Top in Tulsa. When I was younger I used to watch the wedding cake challenge competitions on the tv compulsively- I remember that the owner of this bakery won third place in the one of the competitions and I remember saying to myself that since she is from Tulsa I would have her make my cake- so 10 years later I was so excited when it actually happened. The cake was delicious and beautiful. It was 5 tiers with coordinated fresh florals between each tier and on top."

No words, right? Just breathtaking!

Maharani Shikha, on her wedding style:

"My wedding style would probably be describes as "lux garden" I love florals and wanted heavy floral decor but in a very sophisticated way. For the color scheme - I started with my love for rose gold!! and then picked colors that complemented that-blush tones with ivory and pops of deep burgundy. I looked at a lot of pinterest pictures for inspiration but ultimately came up with my own visions which my decorator was able to bring to life.

The mandap was absolutely stunning. I wanted something very different and with lots of fresh florals that could be used again as a focal point above the dance floor at the reception. So many people said to me that it was the most beautiful mandap they had every seen and I agree! I was so please that our decorator was able to understand my vision exactly!"

On shopping for her wedding lengha:

"I spent hours and hours on pinterest and instagram looking for outfit inspiration. I did all of my shopping in India (Delhi and Hyderabad) which was soo much fun!

I picked my wedding lengha at a boutique in Delhi. I wanted something extravagant and it was perfect. Just the skirt weighed 19 pounds!!"

On her hair and makeup:

"For the wedding wanted simple, classic looking makeup."

I'll be back in a flash with some sensational reception details, so make sure to check back in!

Staten Island, NY Indian Fusion Wedding by Sidney Morgan Photography

The Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden is abuzz with excitement for today's Indian fusion wedding, and these captivating highlights from Ailing and Ravi's unforgettable outdoor ceremony, captured by the talented Sidney Morgan Photography, will take your breath away. The stunning ceremony decor by Elegant Affairs is an exotic blend of traditional, tropical and rustic, delivering the perfect backdrop for this cross-cultural celebration. The Indian groom arrived on horseback via his baraat procession, and was ushered in by his groomsmen and family the rest of the way to the mandap where he exchanged I dos with the Maharani of his dreams. Ailing was as beautiful as brides come in her incredible wedding lengha from The Mall at Oak Tree, and she made the Desi bride of our dreams beneath a canopy of cream fabric and marigold garlands. This beautifully blended event closed the ceremony with a traditional Chinese lion dance, and we are smitten as can be with every single magnificent moment!
