Maharani Amrita, on her and Raja David's first dance song selection:

"My husband and I like to be different. We didn't like the idea of having one wedding song. We did a mash up of a few American songs and decided to also include the songs "Aja Nachle" and the song "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". It turned out great because no one was expecting a mash up!"

On help from family and friends:

"My entire family and Maid of Honor helped out with all wedding events. Without them, our wedding would not have been a success. My husband and I will be forever grateful for the time and effort each individual contributed to make our day special."

Additional thoughts from the bride:

"My henna was done by Tampa Henna Garlands. She was very patient and helped me choose a great design! All our decor, including all flowers for both ceremonies was done by Hannah's Floral & Events. She did an amazing job and truly made the wedding planning process so much easier. We were so lucky to find such an amazing vendor. Our cake was done by Hands on Sweets. My inspiration for our cake actually came from two cakes I found. They were able to understand my vision and bring it to life!"

Maharani Allisha, on what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"Out of the entire planning process, my husband and I both enjoyed our family coming together for the functions beforehand. We were fortunate enough to have family that flew in from India, Dubai, Canada, and all over the US. It was amazing to catch up with them and spend quality time with the family. Every night leading up to the wedding, we would have mini dance parties in our living room. It is probably one thing people take for granted during weddings, but we told ourselves before we would try to enjoy this moment the most."

On her most memorable wedding memory:

"Our main concern prior to the wedding was that our guests would not be able to sit during the ceremony and we should provide some sort of shade/tent to ensure they were all comfortable. Our wedding planners assured us 2 weeks before the wedding that there would be no need for any shade because it was forecasted that there would be overcast and it would be cool. The day of our wedding came, and there was not one cloud in the sky. For those who have never been to AZ, the sun is scorching and you can really feel it if you are sitting in it for more than 5 minutes. Surprisingly, my husband and I, sitting in front of the fire and our backs to the sun, did not feel hot or sweaty at all. We talked about it afterwards, and I mentioned to him how out of the entire weekend, it was at the moment I felt the most peace. It didn't matter to me that it was 100+ degrees out or that we were sitting in front of a fire, it was the fact that I was marrying the most amazing individual I could ask for."

I'll be back before you know it with some sensational wedding portraits from Allisha and Akshit's wedding wonder! Don't miss out!
