Featured Fusion Wedding : Rajshri & Anthony II

November is here and that means that cashmere, boots, and sleigh bells are around the corner.  But, before we dive into winter, we had to share this charming summer fusion wedding with all of you.  Indian weddings by nature are extravagant and over the top, so if your style is more garden, casual, than opulent with elephants, you will find oodles of inspiration today.

The next two ideas are perfect for every Maharani.  Indoor, outdoor, black tie, vineyard, winter or summer…the one place that Indian brides always get stuck is with their wedding favors.  We always think that edible is best, and this summer sweet jam could not be more darling for a fusion wedding.

This can be a fun DIY project with these jam jars and these labels. So grab some of your girls and fill them with jam, jelly, or even mango chutney!

So, I know that this wedding was a blast, because of this next awesome idea.  I was talking with the head planner, Tejel, of Ambiance by Tejel, and she told me that the couple had relatives and friends come from all over the globe.  So, on each table card, the bride placed a small gold pin and asked all the guests to place on the map.  By the end of the evening, all the guests were mingling, the couple had a glittering map, and a keepsake for life.

Featured South Asian Wedding : Uzma & Omar

If you live on the west coast you will totally get it when I say, "Where is the lovely spring weather?"  With LA getting as much rain as Seattle these days, summer is majorly on my mind. Our next South Asian wedding has a crafty, summery, tiffany blue and tangerine color palette that is definitely taking some of these stormy California blues away. Aman Mohammed was the man behind the camera and responsible for capturing all the lovely details that were the handiwork of Exquistive Events.
