It's time for the I do's and to make Vicki and Kishan's day extra special, RB Event Design joined forces with Design House Decor to create a magical ceremony backdrop! The aisle walkway looks stunning with an array of floral arrangements with dripping crystals on each side. The mandap is draped in luxurious gold fabric with a glass chandelier to lighten up the occasion. Events Capture catches up with our Maharani doing her proverbial walk down the aisle with darling bouquet in hand and a bright smile on her face! The intimate ceremony concludes with Indian rituals and everlasting joy, and I must say, these two look even better as newlyweds! Catch all the matrimonial highlights at New Jersey's Addison Park in the gallery!
From the bride, on the wedding style:
"I had gone to India for 5 days to shop since I had schedule constraints. I didn’t plan as to what I wanted or what the theme of the wedding was. On my first day there, I was sleep deprived but given that I needed to get a lot done in the little time I had, I had told myself I needed to find at the very least my wedding dress. As I browsed along, one of the people who worked in the shop pulled me to the side and politely asked me to try a dress on that they thought was perfect. My parents and my aunt and uncle were upstairs so I hesitated but once I tried it on, I knew that I was going to use the coral pop of color on my reception dress to design around the entire day. Reema Butala, my wedding planner and I both obsessed over the color and designed every detail around the coral."
On family and friends helping:
"My family and friends were for the most part kept in the dark regarding the entire day since we wanted this day to be enjoyable and a surprise to everyone."
On a special moment:
"After a hectic morning and sitting in the mandap for hours, my new husband and I escaped to take some memorable pictures. Reema had come up with the idea of taking pictures with the photos of our parents getting married. She had framed the pictures and we spent a few moments capturing our own memories with our parent’s photos in hand."
The reception portraits are coming up!
