Ballroom Indian Wedding Reception: The Best of Maharani Weddings

Maharanis, you just saw our top 2012 picks for destination Indian wedding and fusion Indian wedding. Now I am proud to present our choice for ballroom reception!
We published this on Valentine's Day for a good reason: it's so gosh darned romantic! This Maharani's festivities begin with a vibrant sangeet and wedding ceremony, but what really takes it home is this incredible Indian wedding reception. Joe Photo takes us into the ballroom, which is elegantly designed by Chic Productions and 2Create Designs. The backdrop for the couple's sweetheart table is breathtaking with its wallpaper motif, green moss and fresh flowers. The floral centerpieces and thoughtful table setting just makes this space truly inspired. Bravo!

Happy Friday, Maharanis! For this last Film-y Friday of 2012 (can you believe it?), we are going out with a bang! First up, meet Maharani Sheena and Naveen. If you don't fall in love with this couple within the first 45 seconds of this Indian wedding film by KSD Wedding Photojournalists, you better check your pulse! This country club wedding begins with our groom reading aloud the letter he sends to his Maharani on the wedding day. The earnest letter sets the tone for this modern fairytale wedding at New Jersey's One & Only Westmount Country Club. BridalGal plays up this Indian bride's natural beauty for both her wedding outfits: a lovely champagne wedding sari and beaded reception lengha. Platinum Guide member Ruchi's Mehendi's stellar bridal mehndi can be seen under Sheena's stack of red churis -- gorgeous as always! Inside the Indian wedding venue, Elite Events Management, LLC keeps the affair modern and chic with mainly white decor.

Imperial Indian Wedding by StoryMotion Studios, Keswick, Virginia

Our recently released Maharani Wedding Winter E-magazine is full of glamorous Indian weddings, just like this one with StoryMotion Studios. These exclusive Indian wedding photos are taken at Maharani Rupa and Shiva's "Royal South Indian Wedding" themed ceremony. The South Indian bride looks amazing as she arrives to Castle Hill Cider in a decorated palanquin. Working Brides does a phenomenal job of planning this epic outdoor event, while Partyland dresses the lawn and mandap is cheery florals.
