Winter is in full swing, and we have just the fabulous Indian wedding to wash those chilly blues away. The ladies over at Pink Rock Events flawlessly executed this San Diego Indian wedding, and it all starts off with this hip, modern Sangeet.  In the sea of color, I am completely mesmerized by the modern sense of design, and the couple’s uber stylish white Sangeet attire. It is just flat out COOL.

Don't you just LOVE the back of Seema's blouse?!  A divinely, delicate detail to contrast with a simple, luxurious white sari.  It's totally en vogue.

Before we dive into this gorgeous Hindu ceremony, I wanted to share a moment from their Sangeet that made my heart skip a beat.  The lighting, the angles, the perfect colors, and the bride's smile all make this photograph come together flawlessly.  Another cherished moment captured beautifully by Imagique!

Today’s featured wedding is a delicate blend of Hindu and Buddhist, Indian and Sri Lankan, and traditional and modern.  It is really a fusion wedding from all angles, and you will see exactly what I mean as the day unfolds.  This take your breath away ceremony started at the amazing Swaminarayan temple, in Toronto, Canada.

A unique blend of Indian Hindu and Sri Lankan Buddhist traditions, Chad & Meera’s wedding was a delight to our photographic senses. They first sealed their commitment through the sacrificial fires at the Swaminaryana Temple. Then escorted by exotic Sri Lankan dancers, they arrived at the Buddist altar to humbly offer sacred leaves to the earth and their family signifying their union and asking for blessings to be bestowed by the community elders.
