The Woodlands, Texas Indian Wedding by Anzo Foto + Film

It was a gorgeous day in Texas as Natasha got ready for her outdoor Indian wedding ceremony at the Town Green Park, The Woodlands. I am still reeling over her whimsical sangeet ceremony designed by Mandap Creations! Now I am quickly falling in love with this Maharani’s signature bridal look. A deep burgundy lehenga with gold embellishments fit the bride like a glittered glove. The garden area of the venue was bequeathed with a gorgeous floral mandap overflowing with pastel garnishment orchestrated by Events in Bloom. The bride walked down the lantern lit pathway and has never looked back. See some of our favorite images down below and peruse through the gallery captured by Anza Foto + Film.

The Woodlands, Texas Indian Wedding by Anza Foto + Film

So many elements of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream came to mind as I perused through Natasha and Asheesh’s grand celebration. There are some weddings that land on our desks that just whisk us away with a fairytale adventure. When it was time to plan the big day, Design Wedding Consultants stepped in to help spearhead the series of events. The sangeet ceremony took place at The Westin at the Woodlands and was a flora and fauna adventure. Mandap Creations brought forth a fresh twist to modern day Indian decor and bathed the venue in a garden glow. Patches of flowers spread across the venue gave the room an earthy luminesce. The gallery captured by Anza Foto + Film is overlapping with charm so take a tour for yourself!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
We met at college at Boston University around May 2011. We dated for about five years, before he proposed. He lived in New Jersey and I lived in Houston. When I decided to move back home after graduation, we decided to do long-distance. We had decided after two years of long distance that he would move to Texas. After a weekend where I was feeling especially down about the distance, I knew he was "the one" when he moved down early (by about a few weeks or so) to surprise me!
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Asheesh kept me guessing of when he was going to propose to me. He didn't give me a time, a day, much less a month. He kept it super vague! Finally, the Friday of my first week at a new job - he surprised me by taking me out to happy hour in Discovery Green. I was super skeptical of him and his sudden need to happy hour, but I followed along. We walked through Discovery Green, and all of a sudden he took my hand and started talking about us as a couple, and our relationship and our future. He told me how he knew I was the one and how excited he was for our future. I was in complete shock. He started to get down on one knee, when I noticed photographers around us and everything started to click. He asked me to marry him, and I couldn't help but cry/laugh. He had to ask me another time before I responded! But once I did, he took me in his arms and started cry/laughing with me.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
All the planning of the event details! Thinking about every little detail and how it will all come together was probably the best part! It was so much fun and really got me feeling creative. Also, planning our combined bachelorette/bachelor party was a lot of fun. My husband and I have a lot of mutual friends, so we combined our weekend in Miami. Planning that out and experiencing it with all of our best friends was amazing! They made us feel so special and we always treasure that.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
I'm not sure! Hopefully enjoying the weekend with us and feeling the love like we did! One thing that really stuck out on our wedding weekend to us, was the amount of love and support we felt from everyone. The positivity and love from everyone is such a strong memory from that weekend. We also made it a point to circle the room and try to say hi to everyone at each event. It was really important to us that everyone feel like they atleast got to see the bride and groom and exchange words with them, so hopefully everyone felt that from us.
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
Literally all of it. Everything moves so fast and you're trying to treasure each moment, while trying to remember it and enjoy the moment. Every moment is just so special and fills your heart with so much happiness. I think I have two really special moments though. One has to be my sisters' speech at our reception. The realization that my sisters are adults now and they are speaking to me at my wedding was just so surreal. I felt so much love and positive energy from them, it was so heartwarming. The second special moment was when I saw my husband for the first time at the ceremony. He couldn't see me walk down the aisle, as the groom's eyes are covered in Hindu traditional weddings. So, just that first look being at the ceremony and seeing him in his groom attire really made my stomach start doing cartwheels!
We return with the splendid Indian wedding coming right up!

Addison, Texas Indian Wedding by Digital Shaadi Films - PMistry Photography

We have a lot of information to dish out Maharanis so let’s dive right in! Maharani Priya and Yatish celebrated both their wedding and reception at the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum and after the bride got ready and the wedding portraits were captured, it was time for the big reveal. Priya walked down a shiny pathway surrounded by copious blooms of fresh florals that were overflowing with luscious grandeur designed by Chetna Naik of Styleishq. The bride and groom opted out of a mandap structure and instead opted for an ivory white stage with a colorful backdrop. After the ceremony guests were ushered into a transformed ballroom within the same venue to the beats of Asad Motiwala of Outspoken Visions Entertainment. The bride donned a royal purple wedding lengha with an offsetting peachy top that sashayed throughout the spacious quarters with her every move. The party was one fun bash with Digital Shaadi Films - PMistry Photography capturing all the precious moments in our gallery from start to finish.

Addison, Texas Indian Wedding by Digital Shaadi Films - PMistry Photography

Hey there love birds! Today we bring you some super gorg images of Priya and Yatish by Digital Shaadi Films - PMistry Photography that will make you swoon. The eclectic couple settled on the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum to host their Indian wedding ceremony and on the morning of her event Tiffany Petry of Paperdolls Makeup & Hair rolled in her makeup carrier to bedazzle our beautiful bride. The bride opted not to go full traditional and intermixed her wedding lengha with a bright, green top. Although this lengha was stunning on its own, it is the oversized kundan jewelry that really made a bold statement. Digital Shaadi Films - PMistry Photography shares the love story set across multiple days through their lens with image captured beautifully in our gallery and coming right up we have some amazing portraits from the big day!
