Welcome to Maharani Weddings

Talk about a trifecta celebration filled with grandiose details! Maharani Ankita and Vikas's splendid soiree has just begun and I have all the beautiful images available to share with you all. Jignasa Patel of K.I. Weddings is triumphant with planning larger than life Indian weddings and always manages to blow me away from the creativity of their work. The morning started with our bride getting dolled up for her wedding ceremony and with the talented work of Samira's Henna Designs, the outcome was stunningly sensational. The bride channeled the appearance of a Rajasthani bride with a shiny matha patti and gleaming nath in her nose. Hair was kept neat in an ebullient bun decorated with fresh flowers. As the bride got ready, DJ Riz Entertainment led the baraat ceremony alongside a majestic horse from Happy Trails Carriage Service. The baraat truly made an outstanding appearance shining with Bollywood flair. The images tucked away in the gallery shot by MnM Photography helps me a picture a love tale that is truly one for the ages!

The last event of Maharani Rukmini concluded at the same place it all started - The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. Blush and Glow showed up for her last day as beauty squad extraordinaire and transformed the bride into a regal queen. The bride opted for a more elaborate reception outfit with heavy embroidery stonework and zardosi stones. I am a sucker for a navy blue anarkali and this bride executed the look flawlessly. The bride’s mehndi by The Original Henna Company was a striking contrast to this vivacious color! Under the creative direction of Décor One, the spacious quarters were covered in charming floral and a sweeping sweetheart stage that was engulfed with all the romance. I am so excited to share all the details of Maharani Rukmini and James's fusion Indian wedding in the outdoor garden of The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. The bride channeled the appearance of a Rajasthani bride with a shiny matha patti and gleaming nath in her nose. Hair was kept neat in a long, woven braid meant to hold up the dupatta of her raw silk sari. The bride and groom took advantage of the crisp weather with an outdoor Indian wedding complete with one of my favorite mandaps to date in 2018. Décor One constructed a blooming mandap with a petal scattered aisleway and hanging lanterns. Charming and whimsical with a dose of Indian tradition, the design of this structure was instantly delectable. Hues of peach and champagne intermixed with white and pink blooms were perfect against the background of the virescent trees! The images tucked away in the gallery shot by Bella Lumi helps me paint a picture of a love tale that is truly one for the ages!

I absolutely love showcasing fusion Indian weddings! There is something that is so special when I see two different worlds collide. The traditions and culture of Indian weddings were blooming with Rukmini and James's multifaceted love affair. For their special celebration, Rukmini honored her upbringing and kicked off a polychromatic sangeet celebration at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. The peachy sangeet night was a night to remember, so take out your notepads for inspiration overload! It’s all in the details and no detail was spared by Décor One who bathed the venue in colorful pillows and Rajasthan inspired embellishments. This fusion Indian wedding was planned by Rathi Menon of Rathi Menon Events who ensured that all the different events flowed together seamlessly. I have the sneak peek of things to come down below! We hope that you are taking a break from the mad dash of the work week with a cup of chai and ready to wrap up Sonia and Rahul's inspiring Indian wedding. Sonia's wedding extravaganza was brimming with luxury and detail, shot by Lomesh Photography. The amount of detail that went into this wedding journey is uncanny! Starting with an amazing sangeet at the Las Colinas Country Club, Indian groom design from Manyavar, with Tall Productions behind the cinematic lens, you won't want to miss a beat! Prashe turned the Marriott Las Colinas into a romantic haven. Twinkling chandeliers, neutral décor palette, and the right amount of glow was oh so magical! The night ended with the guests on the dancefloor; a sign of good times with a curated playlist from DJ Riz Entertainment. The bride herself has some words for all you Indian brides that need that extra encouragement, "It all goes by so fast - so try to take in every moment!  Another bride told me, your wedding is the best day of your life because you get to marry the man of your dreams and all of the people you love are there with you - and I couldn’t have said it any better myself!! Rahul and I still feel like we are on a high from the wedding and getting to see all of our loved ones. We feel honored and blessed to have so much love and support."
