Ladies, the reception pics from this New York South Indian wedding by MaxPhoto NY and Glamorous Event Planners are to die for! This might just be one of my fave lengha saris ever!! The hot pink and green color scheme along with the intricate beadwork make this get-up sensational! The sweetheart stage, provided by Stylish Events, is fit for a queen which is exactly what Maharani Usha deserves! And Maharaja Sameer is totally having a blast as he's groovin' with the crowd to the sounds of Premier Entertainment! I must relive every moment in the gallery!

From the bride, on her reception makeup:

"For the reception, I wanted mostly pink hues for the makeup and voluminous curls. My wonderful stylist worked with me to make me feel and look my best!"

On the jewelry:

"I knew for the reception I wanted to wear my grandmother's diamond necklace. Fortunately, I was able to find earrings and a tikka to match."

On the cake:

"Our wedding cake was another special part of the wedding. Each layer of the cake was a different flavor such as raspberry mousse/chocolate and pistachio and butter sponge cake. The cake was decorated by the wonderful Stylish Events."

On her fave moment:

"My fondest memory from the wedding is dancing with my husband and living in the moment. We are both physicians in training and don't get to spend much time together. It was so special having our photo shoot, first dance, and just laughing and enjoying with our closest friends and family."

TGIF, ladies! To celebrate, how 'bout we skip the monotonous gym session today, put on our dancing shoes and groove to the beats of this awesomely rockin' Indian ceremony highlight reel by Robles Video Productions and Greycard Photography?! First off, how fantastical is this venue?! The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel is a picturesque wonder and simply ideal for a dream wedding come to life! PinkRockEvents, LLC are the amazing planners behind the scenes.The stunning floral & decor comes courtesy of Square Root Designs. Amidst the heart-pounding beats of the sangeet and baraat, we soon see the most stunning wonder of all, the lovely bride, all dolled up by Oscar Makeup. She is bedazzled and blinged out from head to toe! And make sure to catch how the beauty's groom, makes his dramatic entrance! Every detail is so delightful that I wish I was there! Hmm, my invite must of gotten lost in the mail, right girls?  

From the bride on the romantic proposal:

My husband had been planning the proposal for months. We had a long distance relationship, I was visiting him in California when he popped the question. He took me to his hometown temple for a prayer but little did I know he had reserved the whole temple for us. We were performing a prayer with the priest and the priest told me to close my eyes. The priest gave him a plate with rose petals and the ring. When I opened my eyes, my husband was on one knee with the ring in his hand. It was truly the happiest moment of my life. It made it even more special when all of his family and my mom came out. They had been hiding in the temple the entire time. There were a lot of tears of joy. And the surprises didn't end there. We went around Orange County for the private helicopter ride and then on a beautiful gondola ride at Balboa Island. It was amazing. And to top it all, when we came home from a romantic dinner, my mom, dad, and both of my brothers flew in from the east coast to surprise me. My husband had been planning this with my family for months. It was a day full of the sweetest surprises. All of my family flew in that weekend to celebrate our engagement. We had a surprise roka ceremony the following day. It was a magical weekend.

On the wedding style:

When it came to planning our dream wedding, we wanted a traditional hindu punjabi wedding. For the wedding ceremony, I picked pinks and oranges for the fabric and florals. We had peacocks on our invitation cards, so we decided to get custom made floral peacock structures made for the decor at the wedding. Our vendors did a great job making beautiful peacocks out of florals. For the reception, we wanted a classy and romantic theme. I picked blush pink as the color for the night. I worked with our vendor to customize our sweetheart table with hanging globes and florals. For our sangeet night, we had a moroccan theme. I picked orange and blue as our colors for the decor and florals. It was a fairytale wedding, everything came together so perfectly.

On planning:

Looking back, I really enjoyed planning our dream wedding. I flew back and forth from the east coast to CA for wedding planning. It required a lot of work and organization but it was all so worth it. Our roka ceremony, engagement party, sangeet, wedding ceremony and reception went really well.

On choosing the song they danced to:

Our first dance was very special to us. We had the very talented Raginder Momi "Violinder" play our favorite song "Kabhi Kabhi" for our first dance. It sounded even more beautiful with his violin version. We picked this song because we both love this song. My husband surprised me by singing this song to me on our sangeet night as well. It was so sweet.

On the venue:

We picked the amazing Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in CA for our wedding venue. It has one of the most breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Our mandap backdrop was the scenic views of the ocean. The weather was perfect and the venue was brought to life with all our wedding decor. The wedding ceremony was performed at the Dana Lawn and the reception was held at the Ritz Ballroom. It was a magical day filled with love and happiness. I am so grateful to all our vendors who worked with us to make our vision come true.

Forgot to mention, you may also get a bit hungry looking at all the tasty Indian treats. Be strong, darlings! I'll be back in a jiff. Try not to miss me too much!

Whenever a submission from IQvideography crosses my desk, I know I am in for a delightfully sweet treat. With family and friends from Arizona and California to witness, this was an Indian wedding to remember. Square Root Designs and Planning Elegance were there to make sure there was not a flower out of place at the reception at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel while the team at Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch made this bride’s dream ceremony come to life. This is one wedding I have simply fallen in love with and this video is just waiting to be swooned over and over again!

At first glance, this engagement is a bundle of bling and happiness that is the perfect combo. But when you start peeling back those gorgeous layers, you will quickly see that this love story captured by Aria Fine Art Films is a slice of Indian wedding heaven. It’s the details I absolutely adore—the bride’s jewelry, her eye makeup, and oh, her groom isn’t so bad either! It’s an engagement dream come alive, so cozy up and enjoy!

From the bride, on meeting her Raja:

"I met him at a job interview for a pharmacy manager position, at his pharmacy in the city. We knew within weeks that we wanted to be with each other. There was a certain unknown chemistry we had. It was destined."

On her engagement:

"January 1st is when we got engaged. We were at his condo, snowing and cold in chicago, but we were infront of a fire and that's how we got engaged. It was a matter of just the ring, we already knew we were going to get married."

On her wedding style:

"I wanted it to be grand, memorable and unique. I like to make a statement and I want things to be different. There was alot of funk but also classy and traditional at times."

On planning her wedding:

"I got to know my husband better."

On choosing her bridal gown:

"I designed all of my outfits...from picking fabric, stones, thread..everything..I also did both parents and all siblings..and bride parties."

On her most special moment from the wedding:

"Everyone had a blast..and that's what we wanted. We would tell our parents were proud, us being the first in the family getting married from both sides. We made them happy and couldn't be thrilled ourselves."

On their first dance:

"Hum ho hi...and happy...we did rumba to the hindi party and other mixed ballroom moves for the faster beat of 'Happy.'"

On her hair and makeup:

"Yes, I researched many hair styles, mixed and matched, and found 5 that worked for me."

On family and friends helping out:

"Yes my parents especially my mom was dedicated to making my dreams come true with the wedding."

On her other wedding details:

"I ordered special mehendi candles—had our names on them. We had an amazing dessert bar. Each event— there was party favor given. We had a mandap made and rushed to the USA for us. Jewelry along with many things for the wedding were jodha akbar theme, we wanted the royal, palace feel. And that went down not only to the clothes but also the jewelry. I am still on my honeymoon so if there is anything else you need please let me know I am writing as much as I can with limited internet access. Also—our engagement trailer is one to see!!"
