Somerset, NJ Indian Wedding by Ishan Fotografi

Happy Tuesday, ladies! Today, we elevate the romance with Dhwani & Rangan's intimate photo shoot leading to their wedding ceremony at The Marigold. So get ready because we are about to witness something extraordinary! Before her much anticipated walk down the aisle, Dhwani spent some time with Luxey Looks, who took care of her makeup and hairstyle needs with royal treatment. This natural beauty became the ultimate bombshell knockout thanks to the elegant hairstyle and the nude makeup that made her look like a princess. No wonder why Rangan couldn't take his eyes off of her during the romantic photoshoot carried out by the talented team at Ishan Fotografi. After this intimate and beautiful photoshoot, it was time to carry on with the outdoor wedding ceremony that united these two in marriage. The couple brought Rangoli Weddings on board to make their dream wedding come true, and the result was a wedding ceremony brimming with tradition, elegance, and beauty. They took advantage of the natural environment to create a minimalist yet gorgeous decor that revolves around the beautiful Mandap in soft pink and white hues that set the mood for this life-changing event. And we know that no wedding is complete without music. So we want to give a big shoutout to Luxe Event Group for their endless repertoire, as it provided the best musical background to enliven this entire celebration. If you want to get more details of this sweet and romantic story, you cannot miss today's gallery. It is an absolute visual delight you don't want to miss!

Melbourne, FL Indian Wedding by Sona Photography

Happy Thursday, darlings! Get ready to be charmed and inspired by Mausam & Gaurav's wedding held at the Manav Mandir Temple Brevard. Right from the start, we have to say that we adored Mausam's look for her wedding! The white outfit incorporating green and golden hues combined with the fantastic hair and makeup designed by Michele Renee The Studio made her look flawless. And we cannot forget the artistic Mehndi design she got from Amrita Kale, which added an extra touch of traditional flair to an already jaw-dropping look. NJP Events & Design conceptualized this enchanting wedding following the line of beauty and elegance set by our lovely Maharani. The final result: a minimalist, yet on-point, decor that set the mood for this life-changing moment. And we wish we would have been there as everything looks fantastic. Thankfully, Sona Photography captured all the beauty surrounding the entire wedding festivities. And we cannot wait for you to take a glimpse at the complete gallery we have prepared for today. Believe us; every shot is more enchanting and captivating than the previous one. So you'll definitely get tons of inspiration to plan your wedding!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Gaurav and I met on a dating app (Dil Mil) about 5 years ago. To be quite honest he was the only one I actually went on a date with from the apps I was on. I knew he was the one pretty early on because he was so genuinely caring and thoughtful. I was working nights at the time and he would wake up in the middle of the night just to talk to me when I came home. We didn't have our first date until a 5-6 weeks after talking because he was traveling quite a bit for work a lot at the time. Looking back at this now i've realized that this actually helped our relationship build because we spent so much time texting/talking before actually getting to see each other.

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Gaurav set up an intimate proposal at a gazebo across from our favorite local restaurant in Orlando. It was a couple days before Christmas and so the gazebo was decorated with beautiful lights and garland. There were rose petals set up in the shape of a heart and it was perfect. After the proposal we met up with a couple of our closest friends for dinner and family at night.

Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Wedding planning in 2020 was of course stressful, however there were definitely fun parts to it as well. We started our planning for a 450 person wedding in May 2020, which was cancelled due to COVID. We then planned a little bit smaller of a wedding for August of 2020 , which also was cancelled. We knew we wanted to get married in 2020 so we finally settled on December 20, 2020 with a small intimate wedding of 18 people. To be quite honest , I've never seen myself walking down the aisle with 450 people watching our wedding, so the 18 people was a lot less nerve wrecking. It was a perfect day. We set up a live stream for all of our family and friends to watch from afar.

We ended up getting married at the Manav Mandir in Melbourne , FL. It was the perfect size and close to the beach ( we wanted to stay on the beach for the weekend). One of the most exciting parts for me was planning our decorations for the wedding . Our decor ideas changed as our wedding planning changed throughout the year, but our decorator was super flexible with accommodating to all these changes. We loved the way our decor turned out!

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
For us the most special part about our wedding was being able to have both of our immediate families together in the same place after being isolated for majority of 2020. Keeping the wedding so small allowed us to fully enjoy our time together.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
As stressful as things may get, just remember to try and enjoy the whole process. Remember that things may not go as perfectly as planned, but at the end of the day you want to be able to look back and remember how much fun you had on your wedding day.

That is all for today, darlings! See you tomorrow for more.

Temecula, CA Indian Fusion Wedding by EDGE9 Media

Good morning, Maharanis! Today we are very excited to share all the lovely scenes surrounding Nandita & Vishnu's wonderful wedding celebration. This event combines all the things we love and immerses us in a beautiful journey that we can be part of, thanks to the visual masterpieces captured by Edge9 Media. Throughout this magnificent gallery, we will relieve a journey that mixes traditions, colors, emotions, dances, and above all, lots of love. We are sure there was not a single dry eye at the Mount Palomar Winery as our bride walked down the aisle in a striking, red lengha with golden embroidery that made everyone sigh. And in case you were wondering who was the mastermind behind such a traditional and sophisticated outfit and jewelry, it was none other than Nazrana. Their bridal collection is fantastic, and they have something for every bride. But you know that a dreamy look does not only rely on the outfit; that is why Nandita brought Makeup by Dina on board to take care of her beauty needs and Henna San Diego to design a fabulous Mehndi. And, oh boy, the final result was to die for! After the ceremony, there was a reception party truly showered with love and care reflected in all the uplifting moments the couple shared along with their family and friends. Hands down, this wedding had everything! From the spectacular decor by Deepti's Florals Designs & Mandaps to the sick beats by DJ Insomnia, this wedding celebration was an ode to beauty, flair, and extravaganza. And we want to give a big shoutout to Subham Events for making this event happen. We are sure Nandita & Vishnu could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding celebration!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Vishnu and I met through the app 'Dil Mil'. Shortly after connecting through the app, we discovered multiple similarities in our histories, interests, and overall lives. I quickly felt understood, and at home with him. Despite this comfort, I held my distance and tried to proceed slowly (years of dating had me skeptical of relationships). Nevertheless, Vishnu was not deterred by distance, he persisted. He broke down all my walls through his patience, his desire to make me happy, and ultimately - his unconditional love. He loved me for me, and it was the most beautiful feeling in the world.

If that wasn't enough... our lives integrated so well. Most importantly, the relationships between both of our families and our personal relationships with each other's families was one of respect, love, and most importantly- joy. Having these relationships evolve and grow around us further strengthened our own relationship. So much so, that the moment I knew I wanted to marry Vishnu was the moment I saw Vishnu and my parent hanging out on vacation- they were all so relaxed, comfortable, and happy! It just felt right. I knew in that moment, that he was the missing puzzle piece. :)

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Our families and I (along with an AMAZING team of vendors) had spent countless hours planning, and re-planning our wedding. The pandemic had presented it's fair share of challenges and we forced to adjust to each one of them. Leading up to the wedding, there was some level of nervousness as well. Would there be another shut down? Would everyone be safe? Would flights be cancelled? But then the wedding week had finally arrived, and every fear and anxiety disappeared.

The week kicked off with our family & friends flying in from around the world. Most of our guests had jumped through hoops to come, and we were so incredibly humbled by their efforts & love. Prior to the week, I feared the size of our wedding- we had about half the guests we would have had pre-covid, would not allow for a lively celebration. But honestly, the intimate size of our wedding was one of things that made the wedding feel extra special. When we looked around, we saw a room of nothing but people who had supported & loved Vishnu and I. It made for a comfortable, relaxed, and ultimately happy space for our celebrations.

I can't honestly say planning a wedding during covid was an enjoyable experience, but I can say, I have a evener deeper appreciation for both my family and Vishnus- who kept us strong and positive throughout every obstacle and every change. All our lives they have been our rocks and our biggest supporters...and yet again, they came through for us <3

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
So many of the guests used the words 'Perfect' or 'Magical' to describe our wedding festivities. I think the accolade can be contributed to two main factors. For starters, every detail came together beautifully. It was actually surreal. Not only did everything fall into place, but every event & every moment surpassed our expectations. The extensive team of vendors, our wedding coordinator, and my mom especially worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything was perfect....and it truly was. The decor was stunning, the food delicious, the beats were sick- it was all perfect.

Secondly, and maybe more importantly, we had the most amazing set of family and friends there to help celebrate our special day. COVID allowed for an intimate wedding where everyone could mingle and rejoice together.

Finally, probably the biggest compliment, and something we heard multiple times was that there did not appear to be a 'groom's side' and a 'bride's side'...it all just seemed like one big, happy family. We also felt exactly the same way :)

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
One moment in particular during the wedding that stands out to me is the first dance. As a long time Disney lover and self-proclaimed princess at heart, I choose the song 'A Whole New World' for our dance. The song was sung by none other than my sister and Vishnu's brother (both of which went to the same HS and sang in the same choir). Their voices were beautiful, and everyone in the audience said they were in awe. For Vishnu and I, the feeling was even more surreal. We loved these two people with all our hearts, and they were sharing this special moment with us in the most real way. As if everything was perfect enough, just as we started to dance, a slight wind picked up and it started to drizzle. Maybe some other brides would have been bothered, but honestly, I loved it! The drizzle, and the music, and dancing with the love off my life ....it all felt right out of a Disney movie! I truly felt like a princess.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
TRUST YOUR VENDORS. I can not express this enough. I gave my vendors an idea of my vision. I listened to their feedback on what they thought works/doesn't work/etc. And I am so happy I did... every single event went incredibly smoothly, and every detail came together beautifully. TRUST YOUR VENDORS- they are experts in what they do!

Thank you for joining us today! We hope to see you here tomorrow, same place, same time!

We are starting this love journey by joining our lovebirds at their first look photo session captured by Elvira Kalviste Photography. Somerset, NJ Indian Wedding by Zach Blum

Happy Tuesday, beauty queens! We are delighted to share Sindu & Kunj's wedding with all of you. So get ready to have a blast! One of the first things you have to keep in mind when planning your wedding is to have beautifully crafted invites to let your family and friends know that you want to have them with you on this special day. So, you need to choose them wisely! And that is what Sindu & Kunj did when they decided to contact The Royal Collection. The invites they sent were a work of art! But the invites were just the beginning, as today's featured wedding is one to remember. Thoroughly orchestrated by Urvashi Mishra, this celebration was perfect beyond words! Elegant Affairs decored the halls of The Marigold, and we absolutely loved the final result. The color palette, the floral arrangements, and all the ornaments were as elegant as captivating, creating a beautiful backdrop for this life-changing moment! And talking about beauty, let's take a moment to admire the fabulous look of our gorgeous Maharani after being pampered by Style by Susmita. The exquisite makeup and hairstyle, combined with the spectacular Mehndi by Mehndikalogie, praised this Maharani's beauty, making her look like a princess. After the wedding ceremony, there was an intimate reception party enlivened by DJ USA. And it was the perfect ending for this real-life fairytale. If you can't get enough of this wedding celebration, don't miss today's gallery by Zach Blum. It is a visual delight that will take your breath away, and we are sure you will get tons of inspiring ideas!

Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
It was the most magical, adventurous proposal ever - simple, but adrenaline-pumping. Kunj was doing a rotation during his medical residency near Allentown, PA and we were doing semi-long distance with him coming back on the weekends, while I worked in Philly. He decided to surprise me with a trip to the Poconos one weekend and planned a stay at a cute, rustic (not to mention healthy homecooking) B&B named Santosha on the Ridge. After we had breakfast there, he took me to a placed called Mountain Creek Riding Stable and we galloped off down a bunch of trails with each of us on our own horses. While I was busy trying to keep my horse named Boots steady, little did I know he was carrying a ring box in his pocket the entire time. As we brought our horses back to the stable, he got down on one knee (while I was still sitting on Boots) and revealed the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. I almost blacked out from sheer excitement before I said yes and Boots almost thought the ring was an apple. Haven't looked back since :)

What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
The most enjoyable part was definetly planning the look and taste of the cake. I absolutely love dessert, especially cakes and have over-the-top visions for how a cake should look (brainwashed by those baking shows on the Food Network). When it came to my wedding, the whole theme was peacocks (the mandap, one of my blouses, almost everything was modeled after this theme). So, with the cake, I wanted to plan a beautiful pink cake with these gorgeous pink peacocks and silver garnishes. And it was so fulfilling to work with a baker in NJ (Palermo's Bakery) over virtual calls dishing ideas back and forth, especially as she tried to make my vision come to life by sketching out these cakes and showing pictures via text message. In the end, it not only tasted amazing but was also gorgeous to look at!

What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
During COVID time, my guests loved the fact that Kunj and I, along with our families, wanted so much to make this special moment one to remember for the ages. My mother along with the entire wedding planning team worked so hard to make this wedding that initially was meant for a larger group so special and beautiful, despite having a smaller number of guests. While they say Indian weddings are more about the family and not the individuals, I would beg to differ in this case. I would say our love and joy during this event was more about us even as we may have participated in rituals/traditions near and dear to our family. Our attitude in making the best out of the situation and having so much fun created an infectious, happy atmosphere that was rubbing off on everyone.

Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
When my mother took the microphone to say some words, she mentioned that even as a little child, I sought happiness over money and she was so happy i found a partner that shared that same vision - that happiness in life was more important to go after than any other standard or metric. That moment plays over and over in my mind as it reminds me that no matter what I do in my marriage and in life from here on out, I am always going to make sure that I am swimming in happiness. And most importantly my mother wanted to support me in that journey by recognizing the value of a quality that I had long thought no one in my culture growing up was also chasing. Here was my mother saying this to me and giving me the freedom to go explore and build a different type of marriage.

Do you have any words of wisdom for Brides-To-Be?
Don't let disappointments or stressful moments in wedding planning/the wedding itself bring you down. In the end, this is a day to celebrate you finding your partner and having your family welcome you into your new stage of life. And if you still feel that you missed out a key element of your big day, you can always plan another separate ceremony. With COVID disrupting my original wedding date and marriage license plans, I now am on my third marriage (zoom ceremony, hindu non legal ceremony, and the legal ceremony) to the same person - plenty of opportunities to celebrate.

That is all for today, darlings. We hope to see you tomorrow when we unveil a new love story!
