Cleveland, OH Indian Wedding by Making the Moment Photo

After getting married in 2020, Pia and Om postponed their wedding reception to 2021. The wait paid off! These two planned the most lovely celebration that included a Sangeet, a Mehndi function and a beautiful bash at the unique Tenk West Bank. This locale is a warehouse built in the 1880s as a machine and tool factory! The former industrial spot set the scene for this grand celebration that featured a joyful Baraat procession that incorporated the bride and groom and that kicked start the party. The bridal entourage showcased mismatched ensembles while Pia showed off her best style wearing a gorgeous lehenga choli set in a blue hue. She effortlessly expressed her own style, opting for a natural hair and makeup look and light jewelry. Decorated with reddish mandala mehndi designs, Pia's hands were perfectly on point with her trousseau! Raja Om looked super dapper! He picked a burgundy dinner jacket paired with a black bow tie and tuxedo pants. Just the right amount of glam for the occasion! Gorgeous greenery and a stunning palette of yellow, orange, and white blooms decorated the large room and elevated the reception's decor. At the same time, wedding professional DJ Mavi exceeded all expectations offering the partygoers a large selection of music. This highly experienced DJ guaranteed the party went on until late! While dim lights gave the venue an auspicious vibe where everyone could mingle and celebrate Pia and Om! The magic of the evening was artistically captured by Making the Moment Photography! The acclaimed photo artists tell the story of this couple's festival of love in a gallery you can't miss! Check out every snap and get inspired by this exceptional event.

Riviera Maya, Mexico Fusion Wedding by Film Art Studio

Elizabeth and Justin opted for a seaside celebration, and we are beyond delighted to bring you all the details! This lovely pair went for a romantic gateway in Cancun, got engaged in this tropical paradise, and finally made it their wedding destination! Indian Destination Wedding helped the duo find the perfect five-star resort in the heart of the Mayan Riviera to celebrate their fusion affair. The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya's private beach was the spot for Elizabeth and Justin to throw an oceanside wedding Celebration. Their fun-filled Madhuramveppu festivities kicked off the spree that ended with a fantastic firework show! For this occasion, Maharani Elizabeth flaunted her best traditional style wearing a beautiful Kerala saree paired with an intricate mehendi design created by Loto Mehndi. Meanwhile, Justin also chose the traditional groom's dress and donned elegant white and gold colors. Throwing a destination wedding of this scale requires some careful planning and experience. Thankfully the couple had Pyaar Planning orchestrating the functions as mother nature had other plans on their big day. A tropical heavy rain and thunderstorms made them change the ceremony spot to an indoor locale. "As the moment I hit the aisle all of our guests screamed and cheerleaded as I walked down! It meant the world to us knowing they supported us through the rain and shine." Elizabeth says. This time, Maharani Elizabeth wore a stunning strapless mermaid gown she accessorized with a long delicate veil and a lovely bouquet while her entourage joined her wearing pink sarees. While Styling Trio kept her makeup soft and natural. After exchanging vows, the celebration continued with a fabulous reception where All Culture DJS made the newlyweds dance the night away. Film Art Studio was there to watch them have the time of their life on the happiest day of their lives, capturing it all in a beautiful series of images you can't miss! All the couples planning their own big destination affair, please scroll down and visit our full gallery!

How did you meet your Groom and when did you know he was "the one"?
Engaged to my greatest blessing.
Our journey began as a classic love at first sight. Justin walked past me one night on the streets of Houston and we immediately locked eyes, and stared unapologetically. He stopped with some friends nearby and after several obvious mutual glances, I saw him walk towards me and wave. Smiling ear to ear, we approached and walked directly to one another, meeting halfway (the first of many meetings halfway, literally.)
We knew on our first date, a week later, we found our forever.
Though our story started as a Bollywood fairytale, it brought no shortages in major trials and tribulations. So incredibly grateful we survived 5.5 years of our LDR, and actively chose each other. Ecstatic to start this new chapter with my soulmate and best friend.
Share the scoop on your Proposal Story!
Justin and I decided to finally vacation to Cancun following a long drawn-out period of quarantine and he proposed to me on the beach in Mexico where we later decided to also get married.
Tell us how you went about planning your wedding, and your overall experience with the Venues, Hair & Makeup, Outfits, Decor Theme, and all of the other important details.
Once we decided on a destination wedding in Mexico, we hired fing to help us find the resort that matched our needs — Hard Rock Riviera Maya. We hired the majority of house vendors and we’re thoroughly impressed and satisfied.
How did you select your bridal lengha or wedding dress? Did you have a favorite color in mind?
Wedding dress - for those who knew me, fitness is a huge part of my identity and given how much time I spend in the gym, it's no surprise I chose a body form-fitting dress — mermaid style with a train.
In terms of reception lehenga, I prefer nude/pastel shades so chose a blinged-out light baby pink that complimented the custom lehengas I had designed for my bridesmaids.
What was the most enjoyable part of the planning process, and why?
Knowing that in spite of the stress, uncertainties, and changes during the process - my constant and one certainty remained my fiancé and now husband. Wedding planning evokes a roller coaster of emotions and challenges, but it’s important to not lose sight of why you’re enduring it in the first place.
What did your guests particularly love about your Wedding?
Both my husband and I felt immensely grateful to all 200 of our guests who flew from all over the world (Australia, India, UK, Dubai, US) to Mexico to attend our wedding, so we invested a great deal in our entertainment - fire show/water drum show, fireworks, dhol player, mehendi artists for the guest, harpist, and violinist, etc. I’d say they enjoyed that the most. :)
Was there a really special moment in your wedding that constantly replays in your mind?
The moment the fireworks went off during our madhuramveppu and everyone’s face lit up and jumped with joy. Our friends literally lifted us up all night on the dance floor!
Also, we got hit with unprecedented heavy rain and thunderstorms 30 minutes before our beach ceremony so consequently, we had to change locations on the shortest of notice. The vendors pulled together and moved everything within 30 minutes and momentarily the sun came out. The stress was palpable and evidently, our loved ones felt our pain, as the moment I hit the aisle all of our guests screamed and cheerleaded as I walked down! It meant the world to us knowing they supported us through the rain and shine.

St. Petersburg, FL Fusion Wedding by Jasmine Baetzel

Maharanis, a vibrant celebration in Florida, is today's feature. Marayna and Chindu had a two-day wedding celebration at the historic Vinoy Resort & Golf Club. The exclusive hotel set the tone for this Hindu-Catholic wedding, providing a stylish outdoor space for the ceremony and a lush ballroom for their reception. With pops of fuchsia, marigold, and orange, Bruce Wayne Florals created a beautiful floral frame for their Indian ceremony at The Vinoy's Tea Garden. At the same time, two large red drapes complimented the intimate and flowery setting. It was a glorious day for the lovely pair to show off their best traditional style! Maharani Marayna flaunted a stunning silk saree by Sara Elegance. She accessorized it with a gorgeous gold jewelry set also by Sara Elegance to complete the look. Chindu went for a white sherwani suit and matching dupatta, which he finished with a pair of Juttis, while his turban's pattern added a dash of vibrancy to the outfit! The couple's entourage, boys and girls, were perfectly coordinated, wearing yellow and red ensembles to make a statement! On day two Marayna and Chindu headed to a Catholic church for their second ceremony, followed by an indoor reception. Femme Akoi glammed Marayna with a romantic bun and subtle makeup to finish her white look. This time she opted for a lace and dreamy white tulle gown, and her bridesmaids also looked gorgeous in dusty green dresses. Flames Indian Cuisine came up with a delicious menu that helped create the bash they always dreamed of, and Mixed Cake Co. handcrafted a unique all-white cake that we can't get enough of. Marayna and Chindu's memories will last a lifetime, thanks to fine art photographer Jasmine Baetzel. She captured the pair artfully, documenting candid, loving, and timeless moments in a series of images you can unfold one by one in our complete gallery! Congrats to these lovely pair for honoring their background so flawlessly by fusing the best Hindu and Catholic traditions in one of a kind celebration!

Santa Susana, CA Indian Wedding by Reel Initiative

Memorable weddings are worth waiting for! After a three-year wait, Aarti and Tarit finally tied the knot at a beautiful spring destination wedding! They chose the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in California for their traditional soirée. Nestled in the heart of the Santa Susana Mountains, the property features picturesque natural views and exquisite Spanish architecture that worked perfectly as a backdrop for their special event. The couple put together the ultimate traditional Indian wedding with the help of Vanessa Domenech Events. Specializing in South Asian Weddings, Vanessa and her team designed and coordinated this destination wedding impeccably. They decided on a palette of luminous shades they used on all florals: coral, pink, peaches, and even bright yellow. A rainbow of roses, created by Tip Top Event Designs, adorned the wedding stage and were also incorporated on each table that surrounded the dancefloor. When the sun came down, DJ Scorpio created a music-filled reception and set the energy for the partygoers. While Brick and Brass provided the cocktails so everyone could stir up and cheer for the newlyweds with refreshing wedding drinks! Fashion was an essential matter for these two. They opted for traditional yet elegant ensembles. Aarti stunned at the ceremony in a coral peach silk saree elegantly draped and opted for a stunning red lehenga design for her bash. She was a blushing bride and looked flawless from begging to end, thanks to pro stylist and MUA Dolled Up By Lulu. Tarti aimed for a red carpet look, wearing a cream color Sherwani for his ceremony and a black asymmetrical Kurta suit for the reception. Both looks exuded elegance and a modern vibe. Check all the beautiful moments the talented team of Reel Initiative captured in our full gallery. They will leave you speechless!
