Prince Charming has arrived and he's brought his Cinderella to the happiest place on earth to celebrate! It's a truly spectacular day, Maharanis, as these sweethearts pose for the most whimsical engagement portraits with Photographick Studios while Sleeping Beauty's castle serves as a fairy tale backdrop. This is a total story book romance and I am absolutely loving all the charmed photo ops—from the tea cups to the carousel, the cuteness doesn't stop! With a fantasy fireworks finish, this photography sesh is entirely enchanting and I think I need to plan my next trip to Disneyland for some Mickey Mouse magic of my own! Until I'm on my way, I'll be admiring all the fun in the gallery!
From the bride: "When I found out I'd be going to the University of Central Florida in 2004, Suresh was introduced to me through a mutual friend as she figured he'd be able to show me around since he currently attended school there. We instantly became friends—he was the first person I'd ask for advice from when I was having issues with boys I was interested in! I think we both always knew we were interested in one another, but timing was never right. I ended up transferring to the University of Maryland the next semester and kept in touch. I would visit Florida on school breaks as my Dad lives in Orlando, and he would always come over and spend time with us. He even would spend time with my Dad when I wasn't there (that is probably the moment I knew he was a keeper)! The summer of 2007 he finally came up to Maryland to visit and we realized that there was something more between us than just being best friends, and decided it was worth the risk to take and started dating. Even though we were long distance for about 2 years, I knew he was the one because the relationship was effortless—we never had to try hard or pretend with/impress one another since we knew so much about each other.
Since graduating from Maryland, I moved back down to Florida, where I currently work for The Walt Disney Company. My Mom came to visit for about a week and that weekend didn't really seem out of the ordinary. Suresh had told me that we all would be going out for dinner, which I thought was nice since my Mom was visiting. But, the morning of, my Mom told me she "wasn't feeling well" and that she'd just stay home and relax. He wouldn't say where we were going, but that he'd hate to have to cancel the reservation (I had suggested staying in with my Mom, which she insisted wasn't an option and I should have a good time). We exited at Walt Disney World, and turned into Magic Kingdom. As we were walking in, he said he was able to get us reservations to eat inside of Cinderella's Castle! As soon as we walked in, I had a feeling of what may have been approaching, but I didn't want to assume anything. We had an amazing window seat looking out at the entire park. At the end of our dinner, the waiter brought out a covered platter, which I presumed contained the desserts we had chosen. He set it down and uncovered a glass slipper sitting on a bed of rose petals. Sitting in the glass slipper was the engagement ring! Suresh got out of his seat, took the ring, and got down on his knee and proposed. Needless to say, it was a magical moment and one we'll never forget."
As sweet as can be! I'll see you tomorrow, lovelies!
