Happy first day of May, my loves! Today is blossoming with brilliance as Maharani Jaime is perfect in peach as she gets ready for her big day. This bridal look is all things fabulous with a luxurious lengha and ravishing ruby accessories—opulence all the way! In the first-look moments, her hubby-to-be is equally dashing as they snap a few portraits before the ceremony. The bridal party even joins in on the fun in their bright saris in various shades of grin-worthy green. I'm such a sucker for a pop of color! RANDERYimagery is behind the scenes for some beloved "I do's" and then it's off to the reception where Special Occasions DJ & Lighting is on deck to play the best tunes to get everyone on their toes. The newlyweds stick to a color palette of pastel pink it's completely fab! To see every detail of this awe-inspiring affair, head to the gallery!

From the bride, on how she met her true love and her engagement story: "My husband and I met through an online dating site. I was surprised myself because I never thought in a million years that I would even join any of those sites. My cousin signed me up saying I have nothing to lose and so I thought why not. I was incredibly nervous when it was time to meet in person after we had spoken over the phone for a couple of months because you always have that doubt in the back of your mind. I hate to be cheesy but when we met, there were fireworks. Figuratively and literally. It was in New Years Eve. =). I had never felt a connection with someone like this before but I knew he was the one after he met my family. He fit in so well and it felt natural. [My proposal was on] my 30th birthday in Napa. With my closest friends and family there, he completely surprised me and proposed at the first winery we stopped at. I planned my entire proposal weekend without even knowing it."

On wedding planning: "To be completely honest, I did not enjoy planning my wedding. It was surprising that I felt that way because I usually love planning events such as birthdays, baby showers and even helping with other peoples weddings. I think when it came to my own, it was just a lot of pressure and stress. Luckily, all my vendors were extremely helpful in giving me any advice I needed. I think if I had to pick what I enjoyed the most about the planning process, I'd say it was the food tastings. I'm not really a fan of indian food but some of the stuff these caterers come up with is amazing! I enjoyed it mainly because on the actual wedding day, we barely had time to eat the food we chose!"

On a magical moment from the event: "The moment that stands out to me the most from our wedding is the dance my family performed at the reception. It was a complete surprise and they brought back a lot of songs from my past with different people coming in and out including my husband! There were a lot of inside jokes within the dance that I think only I understood so it meant a lot to us that they put so much time and effort into something they knew I would love and appreciate."

On the wedding venue: "I just wanted to say a little bit about why I chose the wedding ceremony venue. After attending so many weddings, I knew I wanted a unique venue but with the large number of guests that indian weddings usually have, it was difficult. We decided to have our wedding in December because both my husbands and my favorite season is winter. We knew an outdoor ceremony was out of the question and when I found the Cerritos Performing Arts Center, I knew it was perfect! It had floor to ceiling windows where the daylight shines through making it feel like we were outdoors. The grand staircase was absolutely beautiful. The venue itself actually matched my wedding dress colors and required minimal decorations because it was gorgeous on its own and the architecture was such the icing on the cake!"

See you tomorrow, Maharanis! There's more wedding fun coming your way!
