I promised you more amazing pics of our beautiful bride, and I'm here to deliver! Thank you, Aaroneye Photography, for bringing us these stunning images of Maharani Aditi in her amazing wedding day attire. You just have to appreciate the fine details on this ruby red anarkali in contrast with her other look—the ivory mermaid gown. So much detail on both looks, yet both stand out in a league of their own. Ah, to be a girl with not one, but two enviable outfits for her big day! These dazzling portraits really capture this princess' bold style and impeccable taste, and the sweet shots of our bride with her incredibly handsome groom, Karan, just melt my girly heart. The bride on meeting her groom:
"Met him the day I moved into my college dorm and we became best friends immediately. We started dating four years later and knew pretty much right away :)"
On her wedding style:
"I'm more on the simple side so I knew right away that I wanted an elegant and classic wedding. Other than that I didn't have a theme in mind. I also knew that I absolutely wanted to wear a gorgeous wedding gown for my reception. Since Indian weddings have days of events, I knew I would have a lot of chances to wear beautiful Indian attire, so I definitely wanted to be able to wear a dress for my reception and it worked out really well to have both types of outfits."
On choosing her anarkali:
"I did look online a lot and also looked at Indian stores here but found the selections of anarkali to be scarce and over priced. I was eventually referred by a family member to look at a designer named Hina Khan, and I eventually ended up ordering my outfits from her."
On her hair and makeup:
"Lots of research on Pinterest!"
On her most memorable moment:
"Our first dance :)"
On their song:
"Yes, we had a song in mind but it was overplayed at many weddings, so one day we kind of just randomly heard our first dance song on pandora and decided we loved it!"
On her family and friends:
"Our parents helped plan some ceremony details and the sangeet, but we really wanted to do the rest ourselves to really make it special and personal. We especially wanted our dogs to be a part of the wedding, and had them enter with the bridal party at the reception."
On planning her big day:
"We saw many venues but they all just looked like standard ballrooms, until we found out venue which we fell in love with instantly. We spent a lot of time finding the rest of our vendors, but the hard work paid off! We loved our cake, flowers, dj, wedding coordinator and photographer :)"
Happy to be ending today on such a sweet note. See you tomorrow when we bring you another lucky bride!
