From the bride, on how she knew he was 'the one':
"I met Anthony in high school. We were close friends then separated when we went off to college. When I graduated from Stony Brook, I moved back home with my parents. My close friend had movie night and Anthony was there. Since that day we were inseparable and it seemed like those four years away from each other didnt exist."
On the proposal:
"I am a registered nurse and use to work the night shift. After 4 years of working nights, I was able to get a day shift position. I did my last night shift and Anthony told me we can celebrate that day! I was thinking, okay this is great since we were on opposite shifts ,we never had time for date nights. So Anthony picked me up in a stretch limo and we drive to the city to have dinner in the 360 degree rotating restaurant, The View. I thought, wow hes really getting fancy, not even thinking of a proposal or anything. Next we took the limo to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree; he knows I love going there around X-mas time. Next we pulled over to a horse and carriage ride waiting for us! I was so excited! I've always seen them riding around the city but never been on one. So we strolled down Central Park river in a red blanket and then Anthony decided to take pictures by Bow Bridge."
On the wedding style:
"Our wedding style is very contemporary, mixed with traditional Indian colors and themes. For the Hindu wedding, I wanted everything to be bright, loud and dramatic! The reception was where we got to express our calm, mellow side. We went with slate gray suits for the guys and soft purple for my girls."
On the best part of planning:
"I loved the tradition and the meaning behind all the steps in the Hindu wedding ceremony. I also loved all the outfit changes!"
On lenghas:
"I spent hours online. I wish I knew of a wedding coordinator. My mother-in-law also watches a lot of the Indian soaps and she would give me ideas of the styles the actresses were wearing."
On a special moment:
"The most special moment was when I was being carried in at the Hindu ceremony and I saw Anthony standing there. We had our faces covered but I know we were grinning ear to ear. There was a point under the mandap while the pundit was praying, I glanced at Anthony and he looked at me too and started to laugh."
On the first dance:
"We love the artist, Beres Hammond. We knew one of his songs would be used and we also mixed it to a 98 degrees song, I cherish you."
On hair and makeup:
"My hair I had a difficult time with. I knew what I wanted but no one could replicate it. My makeup artist I'm absolutely in love with! Kim Sharma is the best and knows my style and her partner is awesome!! They really made the day!"
On friends and family helping:
"My bridesmaids were awesome! My family and my in-laws all did their own special details to create our epic wedding."
Additional details:
"Anthony came in on a horse. We bought our home before the wedding so we had a lot of bridal party get-togethers there. The groom and groomsmen created the A team and still use it today when we get together."
Hope you enjoyed this short film, my luvs!
