From the bride, on how she met her Raja:
"We went to high school together. We were good friends through high school and college. He moved away I moved away. After we finished college we met up one day and decided to go on date. We did have a crush on eachother in high school and we had a crazy chemistry. We never told eachother. I always resisted to go out with him because of the race thing. Coming from India and growing up in an Indian household I was told to find someone Indian. Somehow I always knew if I went out with Spencer I would fall in love and that's why I always didn't even try to out with him. When I finally did go out with him that's exactly what happened. I fell so hard in love I never want to get up haha. It has been the best journey since. I don't remember the exact moment when I realised he was the one. Since I started dating him I always felt like spending my life with him was a no brainer. We both were happy. I remember one day thinking about marriage and I was like I would do the marriage thing with spencer and no one else. So it was like heck yes to marriage."
On the proposal:
"Well for starters he asked my parents for my hand in marriage. That meant so much to my parents. He promised my parents that he will take care of me and our family. It would say that was a very sweet gesture from Spencer. Our proposal was very private. I mean VERY private. We went to Channel Islands we hiked to this awesome point where we could see the ocean for miles. And he did it there. It was really sweet. We literally had to wait half hr or so after the proposal to spot someone on the other side of the island. Had to flag them down so they can take some picture of us. The best part of it all we ended up doing a little picnic after at the place we got engaged so we had a chance to take it all in with each other. I also had no communication with the world via phone cuz of no service. So I couldn't call people and tell them I was engaged I had to wait till the evening to do that. But on the positive side I got to spend valuable time with just spencer."
See you all tomorrow for more gorgeous Maharani magic!
