Our South Asian wedding celebration is underway at the Hilton Downtown Atlanta, where Events InStyle by Beenish has decked the event space with some incredible floral and decor work that is sure to leave you inspired. The sweetheart stage is luxuriously draped in red and champagne — colors after a true Maharani's heart! I absolutely love all of the adorable little details like the carved initials and the personalized candles with a mehndi motif. These grin-inducing images taken by Peter Nguyen Photography are the perfect candid captures from the evening. Artisan Cakes by Julie created a phenomenal edible piece of art with the floral, gold wedding cake. What a delectable sculpture! We heard that One Entertainment Productions documented the day's events for a highlight reel, and maybe if we ask nicely, they'll let us take a look at it. In the meantime, you can get your fill of this Pakistani bride and her Atlanta wedding in the complete gallery.
The bride, on her wedding style:
"Although our weddings carry some cultural tradition, we did not want ours to look too traditional in decor. We wanted a bit of elegance in our theme, so we chose ivory, gold, and red to be our reception colors. We loved how it all came together."
On her most memorable moment:
"Our wedding reception had over 600 guests in attendance, so I thought I would be nervous walking down the aisle with all eyes on me. But when the time came, all I could focus on was my new, handsome husband standing at the end of the aisle smiling at me. It felt like no one else was in the room."
See you gals tomorrow!
