The bride, on how she met the Raja of her dreams:

"Justin and I met in 2010 at a Knanaya Catholic Convention in Dallas, Texas. We quickly became friends. At that time, Justin was working in California, but we kept in touch regularly. Justin came to visit me in New York and quickly thereafter I realized he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with."

On her wedding style:

"We wanted our wedding to resemble a classic Indian wedding with rich and vibrant colors. After searching through various color themes online, I was drawn to pink/purple/gold with a hint of red. My floral and decor company, Design House Decor, not only captured my vision, but executed it flawlessly."

On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"I truly enjoyed wedding planning. The most enjoyable part of planning was envisioning what that day would be like. From the wedding ceremony to the reception, and every detail in between. Working with the florist to design the centerpieces and floral decor was probably what I enjoyed the most."

On choosing the perfect wedding dress:

"I purchased my dream wedding dress from Kleinfield's in New York City.
I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to India to select my wedding sari and bridesmaids sari's. I had several visions in mind about how the sari's would look, but fell in love with outfits that were different than what I originally had in mind. I was ecstatic with how all the sari's turned out!"

On her hair and makeup:

"I always envisioned my wedding hair and makeup to be very elegant with a touch of glamour. My hair and makeup artist, Sheri Ferguson, owner of Mon Sheri Beauty, fulfilled my every wish! She was able to perfect my half up hairstyle and give me the perfect smokey eye. Thank you Sheri!"
