Journey with me to the land of Itasca, Illinois, for Foram and Rajiv's Indian nuptials! Eric Gee Photography allows us a glimpse at the beautiful bride getting primped and primed for her big day! Morgan Marie Beauty accentuates Foram's almond-shaped brown eyes in rich black liner and soft eye shadows. The subdued eye-makeup is topped off with a bold, red lip to give the look pop and balance. And, I love the bit of shimmer on her cheekbones! The amazing Appease Inc. styles our Maharani's hair in an elegant updo that looks perfect with her gold tikka! Don't move a muscle because we've got more in store, but until then, visit the gallery for more beauty inspiration!

From the bride, on how they met:

"My brother and Rajiv went to the same college. Rajiv grew up in Singapore and during Thanksgiving break, he decided to stay back in the US instead of going back home. My brother brought him to our house for the break. When I was first introduced to him, I immediately fell in love with those baby blue eyes. I was so infatuated with him and his eyes. What started with an infatuation transitioned to love and we've been together ever since."

On the proposal:

"The summer before we got engaged, we did a scavenger hunt throughout the city of Chicago, and it was so much fun! The day that Rajiv proposed, we planned to do another scavenger hunt. Our friend group is so competitive that everyone takes it very seriously. We all got into groups and I was grouped with my two best friends and Rajiv's really good friend. We quickly solved all of the puzzles and had to go to each location to take a picture as proof. I did not realize at the time, but each place we went to had a meaning for me and Rajiv. I just thought of it as a coincidence. At the last stop, I was really excited because I thought we were going to win so I ran to the last location to claim our prize. I saw Rajiv (who was on a different team) at the last location and I was furious. As I walked closer to him, I saw the flowers and champagne and he proposed. My roommates from college and our closest friends were there to celebrate with us. It was the most amazing proposal and I won first place."

The wedding and reception shots are still ahead!
