MnMfoto Wedding Photography and Haniff Jaffer capture the most magical moments from this fusion Indian wedding in Dallas, Texas. Maharani Aliya looks breathtaking in her white and gold sari. And, don't even get me started on this Indian bride's bling factor! Her extravagant gold and silver jewels sparkle to perfection! Makeup by Shilpa accentuates Aliya's almond-shaped eyes with luscious lashes and neutral eye shadows. Her Burmese/Pakistani groom — Shehzad, is looking quite sharp himself in his tailored black suit along with classic black and gold cufflinks. They truly make a striking pair! There's more to come from this day, including amazing floral and decor by Prashe Wedding Decor and lively entertainment provided by Ambiance AV! So sit tight for now and follow me to the gallery to see all the great details from this event, which is planned and designed by Melanie & Co.
From the bride, on how they met:
"I met my husband through a mutual friend a month after he moved to Dallas, after a few dates and being serenaded, wined, and dined...i knew he was the one.The time we spent together getting to know one another along with his charming humorous personality - won me over. Chivalry was his thing!"
On the proposal:
"My husband took me on a quick get away on New Years day to Chicago, his business didnt allow him to do much around the holidays so he planned this trip so that we could make up time for that. Once in Chicago he had planned a tour of Willis tower and when we got to the sky deck floor i saw a romantic candle light dinner and flowers ..that is when he proposed!"
On a special moment:
"I think one of the most magical moment was that my sister, who is super close to me, who had just delivered twins the SAME week, surprised me by attending on the wedding day! We really did not think she would be able to attend (and we understood) but she told us she would not miss it for anything!"
Images from the reception are coming right up!
