From the bride on the proposal:
"Sumit is always such a romantic. For our proposal he rented a private hot air balloon ride over Napa Valley. The scenery was so majestic and that’s where he popped the question!"
On the hair and makeup:
"The inspiration for my hair and makeup come with tons of researched I had done. I wanted something that would go well with my lengha and Mona Lisa Salon really made this happen!"
On the lengha:
"We went to many shops around Atlanta, but our last stop at Ria’s was where we found the one! It was the perfect heaviness and color I had imagined."
On planning:
"What I enjoy most about the wedding planning was how much I learned, not being your traditional “Indian Bride” it was very exciting what I got to experience. Also, from the smallest to the largest detail of our wedding, we were both included in every decision that was made."
On the wedding style:
"We really didn’t know where to begin with our wedding style; there are so many options out there. We finally decided on an “open” concept for the mandap. Since it was the beginning of Spring, we choose lighter colors at would blend together well."
The American ceremony is still ahead!
