Raj, on how he met the Raja of his dreams, Brad:

"Brad and I met in line, auditioning for "American Idol" in 2009. It was about 4:00am, and I was very focused on my audition. He started up a conversation with me, and we talked and texted that whole day. Later that night after he auditioned (I completed my audition early in the morning), he came over and we had dinner. I knew he was the one when we were driving home from Thanksgiving at his parents house, and I asked him to move in with me."

Raj, on his romantic proposal:

"I proposed to Brad 3 years into our relationship on a Friday. I had a feeling he expected it to come on our 3rd anniversary, so I rushed up the proposal to surprise him. I recreated the circumstances around our first kiss. It was sunset on the balcony of my condo, and I was holding my dog, Sandy, in my arms. Sandy and I, with tears in my eyes, asked Brad to join our family."

On choosing the perfect wedding fashions:

"We didn't dress or have any of our wedding party dress in Indian attire. I did spend hours online and in stores looking for the right clothes for the wedding party, our officiant, flower girls, and for Brad and I. Our goal from day 1 was to make sure our wedding was stress-free for all the wonderful people who gave their time to the event. I worked on picking clothes that met everyone's budgets and complimented the color palette I already set for the event. Everyone was invited to wear Indian attire if they wanted to, and by and large, the many Indian guests did wear Indian attire for the Sangeet."

Raj, on his wedding day hair:

"My hair stylist, Beau, has created some of my favorite looks of my whole life over the past 7 years. We did what we always do, which is chat about what could be a cool look that would be timeless in pictures, and then he goes to work. I trust him implicitly, and for our wedding, not a shock, but my hair looked awesome. He even swung by between the ceremony and reception to touch it up."

Stick around for all the incredible details from this happy couple's wedding ceremony!
