Our spotlight couple of the moment met in India when they were just the ripe age of twelve, and now years upon years later, Sourabh and Rikki are about to be man and wife! Through the lens of MDCSF Photography, we get to sneak a peek at our beguiling Indian bride getting all dolled up by the hair and makeup artists at Elegant Looks. I am loving the charming updo that goes perfectly with our Maharani's hidden mang tikka! And get this—Rikki didn't choose any of her wedding outfits herself! Instead, she trusted her awesome mother to hand-pick them from India, and luckily, it paid off because she looks ravishing in her ruby red lengha! Stay tuned because we've got more on the way, but in the meantime, please feel free to check out the gallery to see Rikki striking a pose in her sensational sangeet gown!

From the bride, on how they met:

"I met Sourabh when I was 12 years old. We were family friends, even though we were both from the same city in India, we didn't meet until we both came to U.S. We started dating in college and were very compatible. We are very similar, yet very different from each other. We both have the same values about families and careers. I knew he was the one literally from the beginning, because right from the beginning, we were able to have some hard conversations and none of that would scare him off, even though there were times, I would get very scared, but he would be very strong especially when it came to our relationship."

On the proposal:

"Throughout our relationship, I had told him I wanted to be surprised and I do not want to be engaged on my birthday or Valentine's Day since it's very common, so he ended up proposing to me on HIS birthday, which I did not see at all. We were in his apartment and just came back from lunch, and then he popped the question by saying 'I'd love to have you as my birthday present for the rest of my life.'"

On the hair and makeup:

"I had been following Elegantlooks on IG for a while and when my date was selected, I called Jaskaran up and asked her if she can do my makeup and hair for my wedding. I wanted a simple yet different look for each [event] and she is amazing! She did an amazing job on each day!!"

On the lenghas:

"I actually did not choose my lenghas or any dress for the whole wedding events. I had just started a new job and was not able to get time off to go to India, so I sent my mom to India. I trusted her completely and told her she can bring whatever she liked. The only things I told her about was, that I wanted my choodha to be a burgundy color which meant the lengha had to be burgundy and the second thing I said was, my sangeet night dress, shagun night dress and my reception dress should all be different colors and possibly different styles so they all stand out. I did not get to see any of my dresses until my mom came back to the U.S., and I must say, I LOVED each and every dress! Everyone loved it, in fact they are still talking about my dresses even seven months after my wedding!"

The ceremony and reception shots are coming right up!
