From the bride, on what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"I really enjoyed the hour long phone calls with my sister and mom every day, and doing everything for the wedding ourselves. There was something very fulfilling about it!"

On her wedding style:

"I wanted a wedding and reception that was simple and elegant. After many hours on Pinterest, I knew that I wanted my colors to be pink and gold. We had a small budget wedding and everything was DIY. With the help of my sister and my aunt (who is an event planner), we planned everything keeping the pink and gold theme in mind. We got married at the zoo, so I knew I wanted to incorporate animals in some way, that's how the idea for the tables and the escort cards came about."

On her bridal hairstyle:

"I knew I wanted my hair up and wanted to incorporate jasmine flowers in my hair so I spent a lot of time finding hairstyles I liked. Tiffany at Glamsquad was amazing and did my hair exactly as I had imagined."
