High on the heels of an unforgettable pre-wedding event at The Sterling, and a spellbinding Indian wedding ceremony at Leonard's Palazzo, Maharani Nancy and Raja Mike are walking on air and ready to celebrate their initiation into married life with a reception to remember! MaxPhoto NY photographed the most sensational details from their post-ceremony soirée, which featured some seriously breathtaking floral and decor work by the talented team from Stylish Events, and candid moments as the newly minted newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance. Donning a powdery-pink reception lengha and picture perfect hair and makeup by Kanwal Batool, today's Indian bride looked like a million bucks as she posed for portraits and had the time of her life. Even though the party had to end sometime, you can still revel in all the celebratory details from it in the complete gallery! And while you're in there, don't forget to check out Maharani Nancy's awe-inspiring mehndi design by Henna For All!
Maharani Nancy on her wedding style:
"My color theme was coral white and gold. I wanted an elegant, fancy, upscale looking wedding. I also wanted a lot of flowers, since I love flowers."
On what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:
"I enjoyed all of it, even though it was the most stressful thing ever. I got exactly what I wanted."
On her most memorable wedding day moment:
"Yes, our first dance. It was the most magical moment ever, I could not stop smiling."
On her and her Raja's first dance song:
"It was Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. We both were listening to a few different love songs and imaging ourselves dancing to it, once we got to this song, we loved it so much that we decided to take dance lessons to have a great looking first dance."
On the role her family and friends played:
"My family, as well as my in laws, were a huge help every step of the way. Without them, none of this could've happened. Planning a wedding in 5 months was not easy at all."
Final thoughts from the bride:
