You made it back just in time for the outdoor wedding ceremony wonderfully captured by PhotosMadeEz! Our couple stands under the outdoor mandap exquisitely decorated by Design House Decor with cascading pink flowers and a crystal chandelier. Our Indian bride, Mehak is dressed in a red and green lengha with gold embroidery while her husband is in an all gold sherwani with a red pagri. As the Indian wedding ceremony unfolds with traditions we see nothing but smiles as the now newlyweds become husband and wife! They are whisked away in a romantic white carriage to the wedding reception at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson. SV Bridal Concepts by Sanjana Vaswani swaps Mehak's classic red lip for a bold bright pink shade to get her ready for her reception and pairs it with an elegant side swept hair-do! The newlyweds cheers to each other on their impeccable sweetheart stage adorned with dozens of crystal chandeliers and an array of pink and red roses! After their first dance this pair is ready to dance the night away. Take a gander at the full gallery to see more joy and excitement from this romantic duo!
On her wedding style:
"We both always wanted something with lots of color and summer colors. For our wedding we had an outdoor ceremony and wanted something bright and colorful and went for the bright pinks. For our reception we had an idea of an enchanted night theme and initially had no idea how to start with the idea, however after meeting with our decorators our theme became a reality with an enchanted garden theme with lots of flowers, greens and lots of candles all around the hall."
On special moments:
"The moments right before the reception were special to both of us, all the stress of making sure everything went well was gone. We got to see our reception hall first and spend some time practicing our first dance, it was those few moments that we got to reflect on the amazing week we had had and just laugh over all the fun moments. It was the first time actually all week we had gotten alone time and it was just special to spend time reflecting on all the fun we had with our family and friends."
On the music:
"We both are huge bollywood fans but wanted a fusion of an English and Bollywood song. We chose to dance to a mix of Pehli Nazar Mein from Race and With You by Chris Brown. I always joked around that I could see Subin walking into a room singing With you to me and it made it memorable that we got to include this in our first dance."
On the special details:
"Our parents were amazing help throughout the whole process and assisted in our shopping in India to managing all the details of the wedding. It was a fun process to spend hours talking over details of what we wanted for each event and getting the input of our family."
I'll catch you lovely ladies next time for another ravishing wedding!
