Welcome back, Maharanis! You're just in the nikkah time for Shereen and Saad's breathtaking Pakistani wedding ceremony and reception at the Turning Stone in New York state, and we are certain this exquisite event, planned and designed by Sonal J. Shah Event Consultants, will leave you feeling inspired. DJ Manan has lit the venue to party perfection, and following the gorgeous couple's ring exchange, he'll be bringing down the house with a set that will have partygoers celebrating all night. Fotoimpressions captured these stunning photos from the amazing affair, which featured stunning floral and decor details by the fabulous folks from Elegant Affairs, and the Pakistani bride of the hour is looking radiant as can be in her pink and maroon lengha, thanks to the hair and makeup prowess of her artist from BridalGal! We're smitten as can be with the pink and gold color scheme, and if you're like us and thirsting for a bit more, you can find all you need from this impeccable planned celebration in the complete gallery!
Maharani Shereen, on her wedding style:
"I wanted the Shaadi to be elegant but subdued...candlelight, blush tones, lots of flowers."
On what she loved most about planning her dream Pakistani wedding:
"What I loved and sometimes hated most was working on the little details. From menu cards to favors and other little touches, I enjoyed putting effort into the creative details that were later so appreciated by our guests."
On choosing her dream wedding lengha:
"I traveled to Pakistan to get my Lengha made. I spent time meeting different designers but found the perfect one pretty easily."
On her most magical wedding moment:
"Being surrounded by family and friends throughout the whole night was incredible. I never imagined I'd be able to share that moment with so many people I cared about. Hearing our siblings, best friends, and parents give speeches on our Wedding Day was touching, emotional, and a memory I'll keep forever."
On whether or not she and Raja Saad had a formal first dance:
"Nope! We just danced to every song that came on!"
Additional thoughts from the bride:
"For so many of my friends it was their first time attending a South Asian wedding and they loved it! They wore the clothes, danced to our music, and had an incredible time."
That's where we leave you today, my dears. Join us again tomorrow, and all week long, for more wedding wonders that will leave you breathless!
