Welcome back, Maharanis! We're at the fabulous Dallas Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center for Tareen and Tariq's incredible Indian wedding reception! For the event, Weddings by Farah filled the beautiful venue with fantastic floral decorations; the quirky log vases and the wall of flowers behind the sweetheart stage were especially dazzling! As for food, there were delectable dishes from Chameli Biryani Restaurant and divine donuts from Glazed Donut Works instead of a traditional wedding cake. After that, the night was full of fun and dancing thanks to DJ Paras Khara's sublime song choices, and the newlyweds enjoyed every second! Partake in every spectacular moment by checking out Nida Rehman Photography's pictures in the full gallery!

Maharani Tareen on choosing the perfect clothes for the occasion:

"I avoided Pinterest until it was time to think about decor and my dress and I'm so glad I did. I can see why if you spend your life over preparing, over stressing, it sucks the fun out of wedding planning and the wedding itself. I didn't want to over think it but I knew I wanted a non-tradition color (No red!). I chose to work with Ruby Bandrani at Silk Threads simply based on who she is as a person. She was a good listener, really passionate about her work and her company, and had great follow through on expectations."

On the most magical moment of the day:

"Walking into the reception ballroom was the most special moment for me and Tariq. It's that first moment you realize that in a way, it's all over. The planning, the stress, and the anxiety all comes to a close because after you walk through those doors, everything is behind you and all that's left is to have fun and enjoy time with people that matter."

On their special first dance mix:

"We created a three song mix for our first dance:

'Unforgettable' by Nat King Cole - a timeless song for new love

'Kaisi Paheli Zindagani' from Parineeta - in between we danced to this song with our parents, obviously we love this song because it caters to our Desi family but it's also just a beautifully composed song about life

'Big Spender,' the Theophilus London remix - ended with us doing a surprise break out to this badass remix to start off the night of dancing."

On her hair and makeup:

"Growing up, I always watched my mom get brides ready for their day. I always knew she would be the one to get me ready. However, the first few times I asked her, she said no. It crushed me but it made sense: the days would be stressful for her and it was a lot of pressure to do her first childs hair and make up for her wedding. Thankfully, she changed her mind and I let her do whatever she wanted for my events."

On how her friends and family helped:

"Family friends I grew up with, my best friends/bridesmaids, my aunts and uncles, my parents, and my in laws all played an equally critical role in our events. I won't lie, we had multiple planning meetings, 7 spreadsheets and lots of coffee to make it all come together. I owe them so much! But in the end, the greatest comments we received from everyone was how organized our wedding was compared to others they have been to!"

We'll see you tomorrow for a Pakistani fusion wedding!
