Maharani Poonam, on what she enjoyed most about planning her dream wedding:

"I enjoyed looking up the various vendors, seeing what each had to offer and picking the best one. I also loved looking at other's pictures online to get ideas."

On her most magical wedding moment:

"I remember sitting on the stage and just looking out into the crowd and seeing that everyone was here to celebrate my big day and I felt really loved and fortunate to have so many people that cared for me in my life."

On her and Vikram's first dance:

"We did a melody of Indian songs for our first dance- we picked songs that had meaning to us and songs and were fun to dance to- started off with DDLJ slow song, then went fast up to bhangra...surprise first dance! Didn't just want to do typical slow dance, wanted everyone to be surprised as we broke out into a dance after doing the slow dance for a minute."

On her hair and makeup:

"I researched a lot of hair styles online and showed my stylist. My stylist was truly excellent, she got to know me and picked a makeup look that worked."

On help from her family:

"My mom and sister helped with everything. My mom is just as organized as me and she helped with all the vendors, endless spreadsheets, etc. My sister is one of the world's best dancers and she organized all of the entertainment!"

Additional thoughts from the bride:

"I felt as though everything just came out perfectly. I created a wedding guestbook for all the guests to sign which had our pictures in it. I created a video slideshow as people entered. The decorator truly captured a religious and elegant theme for the whole wedding. The decorations were just beautiful and the venue was so elegant. Everything was very well organized and things went on time. I feel like it all went by so quickly...so hard to remember the day."

How perfect was that?
