Happy Wednesday, Maharanis! Today we've got a treat for you with a superb Sikh wedding photographed by the always amazing team at Desi Intervention! The ceremony was held at the Selma Gurdwara, and to prepare for the special occasion, our lovely Sikh bride got a fabulously exquisite mehndi design by Mendhi Henna Bridal Parties and an impeccable hair and makeup look from Elegant Looks. Then, the Maharani met up with her Raja and Desi Intervention took some adorable portraits of the two sweethearts! Don't miss a single marvelous moment of it -- visit the full gallery!

Maharani Pretti on meeting her Raja:

"We met through a social networking website. I knew he was the one after we met for a couple dates and I felt like I would be happy with him for the rest of my life."

On the proposal:

"He proposed to me in New York overlooking the city on a New Year's Eve and sang one of my favorite Hindu songs! I didn't know he was planning on proposing that night on New Year's Eve."

On her wedding style:

"I wanted to stick with colors that were similar to my outfit and would blend in with it to create a very colorful and elegant theme."

On her favorite part of planning:

"Shopping for my wedding and reception outfits. Cake tasting was also pretty fun!"

On choosing her bridal outfits:

"I did spend a long time looking at various outfits online months before the wedding; however, I did my wedding shopping overseas and went to many different shops until I found what I was happy with."

On the most magical moment of the wedding:

"They were all magical in their own unique way."

Check out the reception, up next!
